It’s really him, the episode, LIKEITORNOT.

Welcome back to another episode of the LIKEITORNOT podcast, this time we welcome in Christian Taylor to Post Office Studios, alongside my co-host 5 o’clock Rich, & we call this one the ‘It’s Really Him' episode.

Christian first tells us why he changed his name from Baja Boy to his government name and also where he even got Baja Boy from. Hint, it’s exactly what you think. I then get into a sort of timeline sort of groove as me and my shrooms I took before the show start to kick in. We talk his earliest musical influences. The first instruments he played. We even discover he played with his Dad’s friends band when he was 10 or 11. We talk BATH TOYS, if you know, we’ll then.. you know. We transition into how he and Baloogz met and speaks on Splash’s influence on his success as well. We talk Buddy Ross and him being a factor in Christian’s move down to Portland and eventually Los Angeles. He also later speaks on Buddy’s influence on him as an artist as well. We break off into shroom talk which 5 o’clock leads like a stampede. Rich also breaks down the art of heckling, why we need to eat at PARKY’S PIZZA on the EASTSIDE & just more awesome shit I don’t wanna giveaway here in the ol’ write up. All in all it was an absolute pleasure talking with Christian and we hope you all can take a listen to his music if you haven’t already, LIKEITORNOT.
