Beyond The Lines examines and discusses how sports and life issues intersect in the lives of our youth athletes. We, as adults, parents and coaches, look at our youth as the voice and leaders of our future, but we rarely listen to them or even give them a platform to express themselves. Sports and life issues go hand-in-hand. They both compliment each other. They both enable our youth to become those leaders that we want and expect them to become. Beyond The Lines will be the platform to discuss the wide range of sports and life issues. You will hear from various guests, including youth athletes themselves. It's more than scores and highlights. Beyond The Lines is about educating and informing with the focus on our youth.

Episode 62
In Episode #62 and the fifth installment of the Spotlight Series, I have a discussion with sophomore QB Jordan. Jordan shares what got him interested in playing football and what drew him to the QB position. Jordan talks about the tenuous QB/Offensive Coordinator relationship. He shares what his relationship is like with his O.C. and how he handles those stressful moments between them. Jordan lets us in on who his favorite QB is and why he likes that QB. Jordan also shares some insight into what he likes as a QB with our "Fill in the blank" segment. In the end, Jordan offers great advice to any young kid who is considering playing the QB position.
