020: Are You Paying Attention?
Not sure how to start a business? The reality is, your next thing is most likely right in front of you.
If you are the person who all your people come to for specific advice, I would ask you to pay attention to that.
There are no accidents. Sometimes you might not feel as though you are on the right path or that the knowledge you are gaining is pointless. Nothing could be further from the truth. When I started my food blog back in 2008, I had no idea that all that curiosity, learning, and testing would lead to helping so many creatives and entrepreneurs build their digital media empires.
Discovering what I needed to learn so that I could be a successful storyteller, has been pivotal in me showing others how to do the same.
In this episode, I will show you, the individual how you can build a business from scratch using some of my tips to build your own recipe for success.
You will learn that it’s not just about identifying your product or service, but it’s also important to create a strategy to implement it, the systems to execute it, and the structure to build it.

[02:47] I started a food blog. Not because I wanted to be a food blogger. I was actually looking for a way to automate how I delivered my recipes to those in my sphere who were asking me to share what I had.
[03:59] I became an accidental digital marketer, and the more I learned, the more curious I became about the digital landscape.
[07:27] So today's episode is about how you, the individual, can build a business from scratch and develop your own recipe or formula for how you're gonna get there.
[10:26] If you're ready to take your temperature, I have the same performance review that I use and my people use it in an easily downloadable PDF for you. It's free and I do believe it will make you see what you're doing and help you focus on all those pretty incredible things.
