Where Do You RunWell? Podcast, Episode 2, Part 4 - Smol Warrior

Jen

Our very own Kelsi (a/k/a Smol Warrior, a name given to her by her Coach) set a goal of running her first MARATHON...26.2 miles!  As the year 2020 unfolded, she found herself at home under a "stay at home" order by the Governor, graduating from college "virtually," and her workplace closed as a non-essential business...

As for the marathon dream, the in-person race was canceled and participants had the option of deferring to 2021, or running it virtually.  A virtual race means no course support, no spectators, no planned route, no finish line party...just you and the miles.  Just you, setting out to accomplish a goal for the pure satisfaction of it.  I understand virtual races can be fun and a great way to support local charities...but training and running your FIRST MARATHON virtually?  Seriously, how bad ass is that?  And that's what this Smol Warrior did!  Listen in to hear Kelsi tell her story.

We have a great line up of guests for January and we'll drop a new story each week throughout the month (4 parts/4 stories)!  Prepare to be inspired and motivated as you listen to the stories of 5 local athletes who trained hard to accomplish a goal, during a pandemic.  You won't want to miss this, so subscribe to our podcast today!
