Youth Sport Safety Update is our new Podcast series from the Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program. Our goal is to provide you with relevant information related to youth sports safety through compelling interviews. There are many stories and topics to be shared that will benefit athletes, coaches, and parents as well as athletic trainers, physicians and healthcare providers. JSMP is dedicated to youth sports injury through awareness, advocacy, and prevention. Athletic Trainers Preparing for a New Season
Today, we spotlight two of our Duval County Public Schools Certified Athletic Trainers. Ashley Alvarez of Terry Parker High School and Blake Mace of Englewood High School. Both were a part of Project 17, a program to place certified athletic trainers in the Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville FL. Each brings their unique skill set and personality to provide the best of care for all of their student athletes in all sports.
