Mar 09, 2022
Citrix

A lot has happened in the past two years. In December 2019, Citrix released its last LTSR, and now we are ready to release a new one. This new LTSR will roll out all the features and functionality updates from Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2003 through 2112, including great improvements, new OS support, and functionality. Our Long-Term Service Release, LTSR, is perfect for customers who want a predictable maintenance cadence and longer support model. Our LTSR has five years of mainstream support plus an additional five years of extended support, which can be purchased.

In this episode of The Click-Down, we invite Devin Cain, Senior Sales Engineer, to talk about the upcoming LTSR release. We discuss the differences between LTSR, cloud release, and current release (CR) and when we recommend using each. We walk through some of the new features and functionality included as a part of this LTSR but weren’t included in the 1912 release. Finally, we discuss what you need to do to prepare for the new LTSR coming out very soon.

More information on our upcoming LTSR can be found here.
