Speaker 1:

All right, let's do this. Hey, planet earth or something. This is your boy, peeps. And thank you for listening to another episode of the people's forum. Today we got another marvel dc cinematic monday. I'm gonna talk a little about dc, I'm gonna talk a little bit about Marvel, and then we're going to part ways until the next time you hear my voice again. That's how this works. If you didn't know, now you know. Okay, all right, now we're good. Anyways, dudes, yes, we're going to be chatting a little bit about and at the end, of course, I want to.

Speaker 1:

I'm not going to say I'm finishing with X-Men, because I'm definitely not done talking about this freaking show, this, this thing. So we did have our finale. So the 10th and final episode aired this last Wednesday, the 15th, and I just want to give my overall thoughts about the show. I think you guys already know what I'm going to say and I just want to give my overall thoughts about the show. I think you guys already know what I'm going to say, but I just want to throw some things at y'all. So, yes and uh, yeah. So let's uh, we got a a handful of stuff and things to talk about, so let's do it now.

Speaker 1:

As always, we're going to start over on the DC side, and what kind of human would I be to start talking about DC if I didn't start with Superman? And I'm not at all stretched for content here. This is all hot off the presses, straight up, important information that everybody needs to hear. So, superman stuff my Adventures with Superman that's an animated show on HBO. Yes, the season two is out the 25th of May, that's five days y'all. So on Saturday we are going to get season 2 of my adventures with Superman. Is that a good show? Probably, probably I'll get there. I'll get there one day. More Superman stuff. We're still in the Superman stuff. I know, guys, we got a lot to get through Superman and Lois. More Superman stuff. We're still in the Superman stuff. I know, guys, we got a lot to get through Superman and Lois. That is the WB TV show Live action, superman and Lois Final season, where you're going to be seeing the final season this year. So be prepared for lots of state of-art CGI and compelling story.

Speaker 1:

I'm probably being a little harsh with Superman and Lois, I have heard it is a pretty decent show and I used to be in love with all the WB or CW, I guess right, cw superhero TV shows, but unfortunately that I will definitely say I got, I got burnt out, got burnt out. They stopped actually having compelling storylines and, yeah, a lot of the writing, it just went a bit left. For me it just wasn't. I don't know. They just they just lost that magic that initially had me there and, to be honest, I think the reason why is when you have a TV show like that and you have seasons of like 20 something episodes, like there's only so much you can do, and these, these seasons like Game of Thrones, where they give you 10 episodes and they're pretty thick, stacked episodes but 10 really good episodes, I think I think that's a good place to have a season. And some of these not some of these, but all of these shows Flash and Arrow and all those cw shows they just keep going and and then they do the the little right before the commercial break, the oh, is he going to die? And then they come back and he's not dead. So, yeah, I don't know, I I think that formula it's definitely easier, I think, to get burnt out on that formula. You're spending just so much time in one season chasing after the same villain, for the most part, before they finally get to him at the end. So yeah, but again, no shade against Superman and Lois. This is a show I haven't seen. So yeah, this is the last year for that show before all the big reworks and all that. So we'll see, we'll see for that show before all the big reworks and all that. So we'll see, we'll see.

Speaker 1:

And, as I've mentioned before, when it comes to the reworks over in the DC universe, I think everything not everything, but for the most part the live action stuff we're going to see on TV will be connected to the movies. I mean, there's movies like the Batman and we are getting a TV show that's connected to that, and even the animated stuff, which I'll talk about a little bit later. But the animated shows, the actors who will play portray those characters in the animated shows, are going to portray those characters in live action. So that's, that's kind of dope. That's, it's pretty dope. So yeah, so we're out of Superman land, guys, I know I'm sorry, we spent so much time in Superman land. So we're leaving Superman land and we're sliding over to another animated movie, now again hot off the presses, smoking hot, having a hard time holding on to this right now. So I got to let it go.

Speaker 1:

Batman, caped Crusader Now. Now, this is going to be an animated film that'll be coming out this year, from what I understand, and this is going to be like a 1940s themed Batman movie and check this out, it will introduce an Asian American, harley Quinn, and she will be green and gold. So again, guys, I'm not saying that I'm really stretched thin for DC content, but I think y'all needed to know this. Smoking hot, smoking hot stuff I've also seen, like images of Clayface and Catwoman, and again, it's, it's. They have a neat 1940s kind of aesthetic to them. So yeah, yeah, that is, uh, we'll see, you know, we'll see. I just, I don't know, there's the forties just doesn't get me in terms of, like, you know the style, the style of anything. There's nothing about that that excites me really, but who knows, I'm not going to bash it until I actually check it out. So, batman, caped Crusader, and I'm sure, like right, because Batman is kind of based off of the Shadow. I think the Shadow was 1940s kind of era. So who knows, we might get that old version of Batman with a gun. So yeah, and yes, I said I was going to mention it.

Speaker 1:

And here we is, frank Grillo. He'll be portraying the character of Rick Flagg Sr those of you that recognize that name. Rick Flagg was in both Suicide Squad movies and his character reached an unfortunate demise by the end of the last Suicide Squad movie. So we have Frank Rillo portraying Rick Flag, senior. Now, I'm pretty sure that man I don't remember the name of the guy who portrayed Rick Flag in the movie, but I'm pretty sure that they're around the same age. So I'm not sure how Frank Grillo will be doing portraying that guy.

Speaker 1:

But you know, peacemaker, it potentially is going to be alternate universe. Who knows? I have no idea what's going to happen. I and I really barely care. Peacemaker isn't like a show that I have to. It's got to be consistent with the storyline and it make it make sense. Like I barely care. I barely care about the plot of peacemaker. If he just woke up one day in the current dcu, I would be okay with that. I know there's a lot of folks that won't, but I would be okay with that. Rick Flagg Sr. Hey, you killed my son. I kind of don't like that. I don't know, but we'll see how that plays out. Who knows, creature Commandos could be like the past and Peacemaker could be hopping over into the past.

Speaker 1:

I haven't read anything in terms of like a plot synopsis and how any of this is going to take place. All I know is that Peacemaker that was originally from the DCU, the DCEU, which is now getting canned and canceled that universe is now going to be in the DCU. So whatever DC we're done talking about it, I've got nothing else to talk about. So, sliding over to the Marvel side, sorry, dc fans, I just yeah, that's all I got. But in the Marvel area, deadpool 3, now this is something you're probably going to be hearing me talk about a lot coming the next couple months or so. We got it coming out in July. You like how I did that, jew, I wasn't thinking it's just from the dome. So it's coming out in July.

Speaker 1:

It's got a runtime and I think this is pretty dope. There's a runtime of two hours and seven minutes. That's a long movie. A lot of folks are unhappy with long movies like that, especially man, especially when it gets to that three hour mark. Like folks are not happy. But I am in the boat where, if the movie is fun enough and if I'm enjoying it, I don't. I generally don't want it to be shorter. That's just not a thing that I ask for.

Speaker 1:

And I think even back to the first King Kong movie now. No, not the first, but the. Oh my gosh, something Jackson, what is his name? He did the Lord of the Rings movie. Anyways, the direct the, the, the King Kong movie that came out in the mid two thousands. It's man, what is his name? Something Jackson.

Speaker 1:

That's going to bother me, and I know you guys are yelling at me right now about like who it is, but I, I just can't think of it. Oh well, percy, that's not percy jackson, that's stupid peter jackson. Here we are. Oh gosh, yeah, peter jackson or percy jackson, the demigod. Directed king kong. What a moron. I. I apologize about that, it's my writer. He's been slacking lately. Anywho, get it together. Steve Um, we yeah, so yeah, long movie Deadpool three. I'm pretty, I'm pretty excited about this. Uh, it's going to be one of those films that I'm sure is going to be stacked with Easter eggs and cameos out the yin yang, so the longer the better. I'm all in Now some casting news, and I'm not sure how I'm not.

Speaker 1:

I can't give you a percentage on the legitness, the legitness of this. But actress Natasha Leon Leon has been casted in an undisclosed role for the next Fantastic Four movie. Now it's a movie we've been talking about for a bit. I'm not getting excited for this movie because of any kind of casting, but I think it's more of the anticipation that's building up for this film that is kind of getting me a little excited for it. Those of you that have heard me before, I am not that big of a Fantastic Four fan, whether it's comics or video games or anything Just not that big of a fan. But I do recognize their importance in the overall story of Marvel, everything they bring to a lot of the major events and I know they are also known as the first family, so they are pivotal to Marvel.

Speaker 1:

But this casting choice, natasha Lyonne, it's undisclosed and I saw a little note on the internet and it made sense and it stated that it has to be Alicia Masters. And for those of you that know Alicia Masters is from the character the Thing that is his love interest. She is a blind artist and it's there's a lot of parallels and I'm gonna go ahead and dive into it. There's a lot of parallels and go ahead and dive into it, but for a blind woman to find a man made out of solid rock, attractive to the point where they are boyfriend and girlfriend for a good period and then they eventually marry, and yeah, so that's what we're thinking. And again, I'm not saying that this casting choice I'm excited and the the biggest role that I know her from and I've seen her in other things here and there and I think she's amazing every time I see her. But I I definitely know her from the American pie movies, right, like she was the kind of a centric raggedy Harold haired redhead girl that just didn't really care about anybody. Raggedy haired redhead girl that just didn't really care about anybody. Yeah, so yeah, man, things and stuff are cooking over on the Marvel side.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of things cooking, agatha, the TV show has been given its official name and there was a Disneyney event that happened recently. I'm sorry I already forgot the name of it, but there was a disney event that happened and at this event they kind of teased that over the past four years there has been like four or five different titles for this show and yeah, and and we've gone through like house of harkness, coven of chaos. I even think there was like a dark hold diaries at one time, which I don't even remember, and and now the official title is agatha all along and it's it could be the official title until the day it comes out when it's Agatha All snap, who knows dudes? So yeah, this show will be having nine episodes. So I was just talking about you know episode numbers and I think nine is a pretty decent, decent area. A lot of the older shows like she-Hulk and I think even Ms Marvel, they only have like six episodes. So I just don't feel it's enough time to tell a compelling story. And a lot of people have negative things to say about those shows and I will say rightfully so. For the most part I still think She-Hulk deserves to pass, but that's a whole other bag of donuts. And the initial premiere will be in September 18th I'm pretty sure that's this year and what a couple few months and it'll be a two episode premiere. So very similar to WandaVision. That also had a two episode premiere and the show obviously will be taking place after WandaVision. That also had a two episode premiere and the show obviously will be taking place after WandaVision.

Speaker 1:

We got Agatha with. Her memories, was completely wiped right by Scarlet Witch and, who knows, maybe the death of Scarlet Witch causes her memories to come back, and I would super love if the premise is that Agatha being corrupted by the Darkhold, and it's not so much that the Darkhold is gone anymore, right Like the Darkhold is now in Doctor Strange's position. No, the Darkhold was destroyed with Scarlet Witch, so Darkhold is gone, so its influence probably isn't corrupting Agatha anymore, and I'm just hoping that it is Agatha potentially trying to dive into the multiverse to maybe pull a version of. I just want Wanda back, is all I'm trying to say, and I'm hoping that the central premise of the show has to do with Wanda. I hope, I hope she is the MacGuffin. So we'll see, we'll see.

Speaker 1:

I know nothing about the show. There's tons of speculations. Aubrey Plaza has a role in there as, I'm pretty sure, an undisclosed witch, and I just love that woman. So let's, I mean I'm all in. I'm definitely all in for this. So Agatha all along. I wonder if they're going to do that. They're probably not, but I hope they kind of do that for the intro. That'll be fun.

Speaker 1:

Now, this is a bit of a question I wanted to throw out there and I saw it on the internets and it mentioned it as if it was something that was confirmed. But I'm just throwing this out, I'm just talking about it and that's the future of Jeremy Renner within the MCU, and I saw a thing that says Disney is replacing him as the character Hawkeye, and to the point where they're even trying to come up with a Hawkeye season two. Now is he done portraying the character of Hawkeye and where I don't think there's been anything official and I'm sorry, dudes, I could be wrong, I'm not currently up to date on everything with Twitter and Vanity Fair or the reporter and all that, so it could be something that's already been announced. But from what I understand, he's already been announced. But I, from what I understand, he's not officially announced that he's not returning. But dude almost died and if he just wanted to just live the rest of his life kind of recovering from this, I could just see the trauma alone being enough to cause him to just you know what. I think I'm good, just kind of hang up his acting and his bow for good.

Speaker 1:

Now, what does this mean for the character Hawkeye? Well, in the show he kind of was trying to spend more time with his family. So would the character Hawkeye want to be out there saving the world. Still, you know, that's the question. I could see him wanting to spend more time with his family, but if it went down, things went down, he would. I mean, if you want to save the planet, you're going to be saving your family too. So I think it's something he may do. He may not be working day to day, you know, out there fighting crime like he was before, but I don't know. Man, you have to kind of think about how his character was portrayed. He lost his family during the blip, the Thanos snap snap, and that devastated him to the point to where he just went dark and started killing criminals mercilessly. So now that he gets his family back, he has this second, he has a second chance with his family, and I just don't think that's what something. That would be something he would want to lose.

Speaker 1:

And all the events of the hawkeye TV show and him kind of training Kate Bishop to potentially be the next Hawkeye. I could just see him just retiring and I could see the character as Hawkeye still existing. And if Jeremy Renner was up for it, I could just see him still existing in the MCU, but just not being the front line of the Avengers. But here's the thing, it's Marvel, it's a comic book. I wouldn't mind having him back for another phase. So I know I'm saying both, but no matter what decision they end up going with, I'm down. It would be neat. The least I would be accepting of, at least I will say, if they do a season two of Hawkeye, have Jeremy Renner there enjoying his family, and I'm pretty sure all of the fans would be there and happy to see him come back in acting, but also understanding that he's not out there doing front flips and back flips due to what happened to him in real life. So that's all.

Speaker 1:

But if they brought him back and here's the thing, and I didn't even mention this if they recast him, if they recast Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, it would be a little bit of a sell like you gotta, you gotta. Really, I don't know, man, that's rough. That's rough like recasting Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. That's rough. Like recasting Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Yeah, it can be done and we can just do it as if nothing has changed. Hey, dad, I love you, I love you too. So you're not Ron, but yeah, we'll see.

Speaker 1:

But man, who would be a good Hawkeye replacement? Right, because jeremy renner. He's got to be like in his 50s. So are we going to age them down a little bit? I don't know, but it can be done right, like there could be tons of folks that I think it'd be hilarious if they put like Matt Damon in there.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean. Like it's dumb, I know it's dumb, but Jeremy Renner almost became the next Jason Bourne, and then Matt Dane. Yeah, it's dumb, but I think that would be funny. All right, now I want Matt Dane. Don't be mad at me, don't be mad at me. Anyways, what about? What's his name? Who's magic Mike? What is his name? Damn it, I can't remember his name. Anyways, that guy. Okay, guys, that's all my stuff and things. I know we had a lot to talk about, but yeah, let's just. Let's finish up here. We'll talk a little bit about the X-Men finale and then we'll part ways.

Speaker 1:

So spoilers, obviously. If you haven't seen it much like everything else, I definitely recommend seeing it. There are some moments that happen in the Extinction is Tolerance, tolerance is Definitely recommend seeing it. There are some moments that happen in the Extinction is tolerance, tolerance is extinction. I think there's a handful of moments that that are definitely spoiler Worthy along with the end and I would say, stinger at the end as well. So, definitely spoilers and this isn't like a full episode review and just because I feel dirty about skipping all the other episodes and haven't really, you know, gone through detail. But uh, yeah, we're just kind of going to talk about the, the season, just bullet points as a whole and uh, so so this show I those of you that have been listening to me know that I had some specific expectations of the show and I will say, without a doubt, those expectations were met and significantly exceeded and they gave me things that I didn't even know, that I wanted to be honest.

Speaker 1:

And they gave me things that I didn't even know that I wanted to be honest, and even characters that popped up, such as Sunspot. I went into this knowing just baseline information about this character and we still don't know a whole lot about him, but he became a character that I really enjoyed. I would have liked to see him, I guess, do a little more, especially at the end, but at the same time, he's pretty much the jubilee of this show, right? He's just now discovering his powers. He hasn't even really fully utilized his powers up until this, up until like the very last episode or two. So to have him just be the deus ex machina that saves the day, it really wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. But maybe to give him a little bit more time to shine would have been, would have been pretty nice.

Speaker 1:

All the alumni characters that that come back. I mean each and every single character has their moment to shine. Some characters get whole episodes dedicated to them. Some characters have that is absolutely, absolutely memorable Just a lot of the dialogue between Storm and Jean, like that by itself. And if you know, you know. But make them weather your storm, make them, or what is it? Make them. See, I already fludged it up oh man, gosh, man, make them fear the weather, make them weather your mind. I don't know, dang nabbit, I already lost it. Anyways, on paper, like I can see posters, I can have straight up posters with a lot of these quotes from the show, and those of you that have listened to me before, you know that I love my quotes and this entire season is filled with them. The dialogue, the writing of the show. It is just amazing.

Speaker 1:

Now, I guess, in terms of negatives that I can say about it, my only negative would be specifically in Captain America, for the last episode, and that is and again spoilers, I said it the last episode the government, the president of the United States, decides to blow up the meteor or the asteroid that Magneto is on, and they know that the X-Men are on there as well. But their thought process is if we can get rid of this, if we could destroy the asteroid, then we'll be destroying Magneto and any other potential threat that we would have to face. And when they make that choice, captain America is standing next to the president. He's like sir, I think we need to really think this through. And the president is like you're right, I have thought it through go ahead and launch the nukes. And then captain america does like a facepalm and that that's really it.

Speaker 1:

I would have liked to see captain america and who knows, maybe this is a character development and we can just put that in our heads, maybe this is a a pivotal moment in that character's history. But I would have liked to see captain america be a bit more anti this decision. Like the president is like hey, this is something we're going to do. Captain america is like I cannot, I cannot stand by and let you do this, and then the president is is like, well, if you do anything, you're going to be a criminal. And then the then Captain America as well, I, I still can't stand by and then walk out of the room, you know, like something, where he is just absolutely appalled by the decision to, uh, not only kill potential, not only kill heroes that are on that asteroid, but the risk of the asteroid just becoming a death, a death bomb for the entire human race, like there's too much at risk here. You're not only going to be killing the X-Men, but you're you're putting all life on on earth at risk.

Speaker 1:

You know, to me, I think Captain America, I would say I would say Tony Stark, iron man would definitely be all right, this is probably our best bet, but Captain America would be like there has to be another way and that's that's it. Um, yeah, so that's really my biggest gripe. I guess my my only other gripe would be in the beginning of the show they showed that there were lots of humans that supported mutants and as the show continued they showed less and less of that, and obviously I know that's the idea is to show the negativity that is around humans and their acceptance of mutants. But I just feel like there should have been humans on Genosha trying to help and trying to rebuild and trying to and not just humans, but like the freaking Avengers and you could just cameo that you can just show Hulk or Thor or Captain America or somebody in Genosha lifting up some rocks in the background, like a tragedy happened and there are people that are potentially dying still, that need help. Why are the Avengers not there?

Speaker 1:

And some of you will say, because this isn't an Avengers show. I understand that, but don't show me that these characters exist in the show without showing me that they actually exist in the show. Does that make sense? If they exist in the show? There's some things that they would stand by and let happen and there's things that they wouldn't, and I feel like the attack on Genosha. At least have Captain America or somebody say something to beast or the X-Men.

Speaker 1:

Uh, you know me and my team. We can. We can provide some support, and then they get denied. You know what the humans have done way too much. That is something that we'll take care of ourselves. Well, if you change your mind, you know where to find me. It's something small, like that I would. I would. Something little like that I would have liked, because, yes, the world is full of crappy people. The world isn't full of crappy people, of crappy people, and there were, there are always people that are there, that were kind hearts, that are there to provide support and help, and I feel like the Avengers should be that, the representation of that.

Speaker 1:

Unless what they're going for and this is probably what they're going for but unless, when they eventually get to, the Avengers versus the X-Men, and the X-Men will be like where were you in Genosha, where were you when we were rebuilding Genosha? And then you'll get the line. Well, we tried, but you know, ultron, sorry, you know. And and here's another thing, there's a lot of backlash on social media about Professor X and people are super anti Professor X and people are super anti-Professor X. And you gotta, the way that I'm thinking of it is, dude was gone and he wasn't gone because he was on a vacation. He wasn't gone because he just wanted to go get a carton of milk and he forgot to come back home. He was gone because he was on the verge of death and the team of the X-Men sent him to outer space and they said if we do this, he potentially will not be able to come back because our technology will have to keep him alive. And they were like peace, so they were under the impression that they potentially will never see him again. And he was gone. He was gone during the events of Genosha and he gets back after.

Speaker 1:

The events of Genosha already hit and a lot of people are saying, like Professor Xavier is wrong, he needs to hold humans accountable, and I just don't understand what they expect this man to do Like. Yes, humans responsible should be held accountable, but what about Apocalypse? Apocalypse has been around since the beginning of time. Are mutants upset that he isn't? Are they taking accountability for things that apocalypse has done, things that Magneto has done, things that Sabretooth, unknown serial killer, has done? So, yeah, it's, it's.

Speaker 1:

It's something I can't really get behind. It's a thought process I can't really get behind. And, man, I would love to have an actual conversation with someone to change my mind or debate and just think about like and this is that nerd stuff that I love when you go to the comic book shop or when you talk to your nerdy friend about characters and what motivates them and why they do what they do Like. This stuff is fun to me and I love having these conversations because at the end of the day, they're all made up characters. It's not real, but there is a lot.

Speaker 1:

I think that there is a lot that could be taken from these stories and that is why I say characters like Spider-Man. They are. Spider-man is the greatest character of all time because he shows what we. I think he's very motivational. He shows that we could be inundated with work, with school, with relationships, and if there is something that we're good at, it should be our LOL responsibility to share that gift with the world. Like, if you're very technically savvy, like why not use that gift and push technology and see what else could be done to improve the lives of yourself, your family and everyone else around you? And that's that's the thing that a lot of us don't do. We're all stingy, we all like to help ourselves and help our families and I, it's understood.

Speaker 1:

It's a primal thing that is connected to everybody. Man, look, I'm just like on the soapbox right now, but you know, it's 100 percent primal. Everybody out there and I say everybody, but there'll be those contrarians but everybody out there when, given that question of there is one person on or two people on the railroad tracks and then on the other side there's like 50 people on the railroad tracks and you have the ability to cause the train to go left or right. You can't stop the train. You can either cause the train to hit the people on the left or the people on the right. Two people versus 50 people.

Speaker 1:

If those two people was like your mom and your child or like your mom and your brother you know people in your family that you that that weren't horrible to you growing up, but nine times out of 10, we would all say I would choose to save my family over those 50 people, cause it's just a primal instinct that we have to protect our own bloodline and lineage so that our bloodline lives on it's. We can't help it, but if you could not sacrifice, not, we're out, we're out of that one. But if you could help other people with your gifts, why not? It's my thing. So, anywho, at the end of the day, I loved every single character that they portrayed in the show.

Speaker 1:

Another gripe is this gripe holds no weight, but I would have liked to see my favorite character, colossus, a little bit at all in the show. I know there were some morph morphs and that was another fun way of of getting people excited in the show as well is morph changing into a character, and that's like the the makers, filmmakers, show makers saying, hey, we know this character exists and we know that you like this character, but we just didn't have a place to put them except for right now. And Morph turns into Colossus and punches a dude in the face. So and that's not to say that that isn't where we're going next season, and by the end of the show, all of our favorite X-Men, almost all of our favorite X-Men, sans like a couple of the classic characters, are gone. They're all lost in time.

Speaker 1:

So with the next season, we now have the ability to, I would think, build different teams. Like things are still going to be happening In On Earth and so it stuff is going down, and we saw that by seeing apocalypse at the end. Stuff is going down and who is going to be there to protect everyone, you know? So, if I recall, I think storm was part of that group that was still on earth and storm is the, the perfect um character to lead another generation of the X-Men. So just looking at the image of all the characters, like there was, yeah, like Magic, Emma, shadowcat, we had Havoc, iceman, colossus, you know, we have characters, we have a bunch of characters that could still show up and become a new team of X-Men, so that is a thing.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, there's, there's a lot I think to look forward to with the future of this show. Yes, the show runner bodomayo is not part of the show anymore, so folks are concerned with this. Uh, folks are concerned. Oh, man, no, storm is missing, presumed dead. So that means that she is time displaced, potentially. I don't remember seeing storm at the at the end when they're when they're fighting with Colossus or Colossus fight next to apocalypse. So, yeah, man, lots of look forward to, tons of speculations, tons of avenues that they can go there.

Speaker 1:

The definite thing that we do know, obviously, is Apocalypse will be starting the show as the main character of interest. We have three different timelines that'll be happening, three different versions of Apocalypse that we'll be potentially seeing, and I don't think that any of this stuff is connected. I think, when it comes to X-Men, when they go to the past or the future, that is technically another timeline, but I think that we will be seeing, obviously, a lot of Apocalypse, and those of you that didn't catch the clue. At the end I'm not even going to mention it. Apocalypse says something at the very end of the show and if you, all I'm going to say is if you know, you know. And if you don't know, then hit me up. I'll let you know who he was talking about. But, yeah, I'll let you guys see that in in season two or whatever, season seven, I think.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, man, lots of, uh, lots of positive things I can say about this show. Who knows? I stated before and I still kind of want to bring my buddy frigging on and then just kind of talk about each episode, one at a time, from episodes six, seven, eight, nine and ten. So who knows if we can do that or not. I do have a trip coming up here in a couple weeks, so I will do my best not to miss any Mondays, but that is a thing that's going to be happening. But outside of that, y'all, yeah, great villains, great heroes. Bastion was insane, the Sentinels were insane.

Speaker 1:

The effects, the fighting, the blast, the action, the one-liners, the animation, the voice acting, the sound effects from like Nightcrawler's Is that a good one? Animation, the voice acting, the sound effects from like Nightcrawler's. Is that a good one? I'm going to stop. So yeah, yeah, incredible show, probably one of my favorite animated shows of all time. It's.

Speaker 1:

I don't quite think it hit the level of Avatar, yet I'm not going to say it's better than Avatar, the Last Airbender, just because that show has got some some what is it? Uh, it's got some seniority in my heart and that was an amazing, that was an amazing trilogy and it's going to be hard to hit that. But we'll see if the next, if the if x-men 97, hits us with a trilogy type seasons man, avatar, you better, you better come out with something new because you gotta, you gotta, you gotta contender. All right, all right, guys. Well, that'll do it for today.

User blah, blah blah Wanted me to talk about Rogue.

Speaker 1:

Was there an image of her being thick in the new show? Yes, there was. It was a one bit and you missed it. Thick shot of Rogue man. I even saw people like angry that Rogue in the movies can't fly and they don't do her justice. Like that's not rogue. Like I know we love this version of rogue, but that's not, I don't know, flying super superman. Rogue isn't everything that is her character, but I will agree that that version is the best version of Rogue, but she wasn't always that way, anyways, all right guys. Well, I'm going to go ahead and peel out of here. Thank y'all for listening. Y'all stay green. I appreciate your faces and I'll catch y'all later. All right, then Deuces later. All right, then deuces entertainment.
