This is Lauren Nawfel at the Working Smarter Café, and you’re listening to the Two-Minute Tuesday Tip.
Today’s tip is about the UKG Ready Learning solution for customers with the UKG Ready product. Among the top of the many amazing benefits are:

· Gaining real-time insights into where employees stand with their development
It’s a great tool, but don’t trust my word alone. Listen to what Hattie Verrinder, Director of HR Process Improvement at YMCA of the Triangle, had to say about the Y’s experience with the platform.
Hattie: So it’s built into our onboarding process. Our HR representatives do an awesome job taking care of this piece with our new part-time staff. Part of the techy thing is the HR rep has to go in and make sure they assign a learning profile. Once we assign a learning profile, to an employee, then their information is fed over to Learning…and then we have the ability to use automated rules. So we use that feature to help set up our current training so they are automatically assigned to the staff based on what their job is.
And her words of encouragement to people about to move forward with implementing is that the reward is well worth the effort and time. You just have to be patient with yourself through the process.
Hattie: I would say mostly give yourself patience and grace as you are going through to learn, because there are so many opportunities in there. When we saw it, it was, oh we can create this, and we can create this. And we wanted to create all those things. But then there’s managing your time so you can do it.
