He’s been the hockey columnist for the Globe and Mail, the author of the books Tales From the Toronto Maple Leafs and Hockey Fight in Canada, it’s Dave Shoalts. I met Dave at comedy open mics probably 5 years ago, and like his counterpart Gare Joyce, I always felt it was weird that I got to know someone who I was so familiar with.
