Kate Phillips receives FFA Lone Star Degree
Congratulations to Poth High School incoming senior Kate Phillips, who received her Lone Star Degree July 12 at the Texas FFA State Convention in Houston. This is the highest degree that the state association can award to an FFA member; to earn the Lone Star Degree, an individual must maintain a supervised agricultural experiences program, complete many hours of community service and agriculture courses, and participate in other FFA leadership activities.
