Filing opens Jan. 15 to run for La Vernia ISD school board

The La Vernia Independent School District has called for an election in May 2025, to elect members of the district’s board of trustees. The school board approved in its Dec. 16 meeting to call for an election May 3, for four trustee places, each for a four-year term, including: •Place 1, currently served by Jimmy McFadin •Place 2, held by board secretary Drew Herley •Place 3, served by Joel “Joey” Goode •Place 4, held by Ryan Doege.
