Local oak tree stands as tribute to Sam Fore Jr.

Clarence Ehlers shares the story of Sam Fore Jr. and his tree from an article written by Roy L. Swift and published by the Texas State Historical Association on Jan. 1, 1995. “There is an oak tree on the Floresville Methodist Church property with a plaque at the base of the tree.
