Brahma Band excels at UIL competition

At the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest in Cuero on March 6, Stockdale High School band students delivered a superior performance on stage and an excellent performance in sight-reading. Their dedication, musicianship, and hard work truly shined. Unlike other UIL events, the Concert and Sight-Reading Contest does not have an advancement process or a ranking system against other programs. Instead, it serves as a checkpoint — an opportunity for bands to receive ratings that reflect their overall performance. This year marks the fifth consecutive year that the Stockdale Band has earned superior ratings on stage.
