Truck driver gets $160M in what could be Clarke Co.'s largest jury award ever

A 0 million jury verdict in a trucking accident case may be the largest ever awarded in Clarke County. The verdict in favor of Leonard Wiley Street was returned on Sept. 6 following a two-week trial presided over by Judge Perry Newton. Defendants Daimler Trucks North America LLC and Western Star Truck Sales Inc. were found responsible for Street’s broken neck in the rollover of a truck without a sufficiently strong cab.
