Alvin Wayne Rivers

Alvin Wayne Rivers, age 81, of Coffeeville, died Sept. 5, 2024, at The Retreat Hospice by Saad in Mobile. He was born March 19, 1943 in Coffeeville, to Reginald Jay Rivers and Vivian McCloskey Rivers. He was a retired machine tender for Scott Paper Company and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Kathryn “Kathy” Rivers; children, Alvin Wayne Rivers Jr. (Faye), Angela Stewart (Steve), Patrick Rivers, and Peyton Rivers; sister, Linda Mosley (John); brother, Reginald Jay Rivers Jr. (Ann); six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
