Derek Ahonen is an internationally acclaimed playwright best known for his gritty, volatile, and darkly humorous work. As co-founder of The Amoralists, the trailblazing New York City theater company, his aim was to write and produce raw theater with absolutely no moral judgement, while expressing the American condition in a completely honest way. And now, Derek has written and directed his first feature film, The Transcendents (based on his play).
