HERstory in the Making
On today's episode we meet Mariama Bah, a 25 year old mental health advocate and founder of Nation of Diversity an organization dedicated to addressing homelessness and promoting mental health through the transformative power of creative arts.
Some people think speaking out of turn isn't lady like but Laurel Thatcher Urlich once said "Well behaved women seldom make history." Mariama is definitely HERstory and today she talks about the time she found the courage to speak out of turn which gave others a chance to speak their truth in return.
Ladies, meet me in the T-Room as we talk about the power of truth telling coupled with creativity and communal therapy. Now grab a cup and pull on up as we love, listen and learn what inspired a little girl with a big heart to invest in the most vulnerable by creating a safe space to stand in and be healed by their truth!
Cheers!
