Dr. Ortwin Lüers  is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and works as a medical psychotherapist in Berlin-Steglitz . Ortwin was already interested in meditation and martial arts in his youth.

He received his first Buddhist teachings in his early youth from his meditation teacher Lou Cao Van Hoa, a Vietnamese Vie't Vo'Dao and Budo master. While still at school in 1984, Ortwin met his main teacher, the Tibetan meditation master Ven. Lama Chime Rinpoche from the Karma-Kagyu and Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, and finally came into personal contact with SHAOLIN Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong for the first time in 1989 .
