Dr. Muhammad Aslam is a consultant pathologist and Clinical Director for North Wales Diagnostic and Specialist Clinical Services. He joins Beyond the Scope to discuss the success of pathology digitization in his region of Wales and the current state of affairs of digital pathology adoption in the UK as a whole. The primary discussion revolves around all of the advantages digital pathology technologies are actively providing to pathologists and other specialties in Wales. Finally, Dr. Aslam discusses his initiatives to use artificial intelligence as an aid to diagnosis of prostate, breast, and lung disease.
