Dr Kirsten Hunter

Cate is one of those passionate people that you energise from. So the world benefited when she decided that career counselling was to be her own career passion. Cate looks to the person, and walks alongside them as they find a career that matches who they are, and what they want.

We spend such an enormous slice of our life at work. How critical it is then to pick the right career path. But yet, would you agree that we don't focus enough on career counselling? More conversations (that involve for the most part listening to young people) need to happen to support the process of learning what options are out there, and to learn more about ourselves, our aptitude and our values.

What an incredibly important topic. Cate is the most delightful person. I thoroughly enjoy out time together, and this podcast is no exception.

I especially enjoyed discussing the societal pressures that young people face in choosing their career path. All so true, and so critical to avoid.

Hopefully, this podcast will leave you with a mirror to check yourself with regard to your personal choices and if relevant, your role as a parent.

Enjoy.
