We venture into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles world for this week's episode! Hot on the heels of the film release, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, you'll hear our honest review sharing what we loved, plus we reflect on our childhood memories of the Ninja Turtles and why we believe this film will have everyone yelling, 'cowabunga dudes!'
For the second half of the episode, we focus on Vanderpump Rules. River had never seen the drama-filled reality tv show, and they were wholly engrossed. We talk about how we have binged five seasons in less than two weeks, and River shares some of their thoughts on the characters, their actions, and how Jax is not the number one guy.
As we wrap up the episode, we tease out our next episode (on Sunday, September 3rd) with special guest TikTok content creator and comedian Darcy Michaels to discuss neurodivergent representation online. So settle in and get ready for another great episode.
I'm your one host, Amanda Scriber, and I'm your co-host.
Speaker 2River Guilford.
Speaker 1I can't believe it's already been two weeks. It feels like literally just yesterday. We recorded these. I know.
Speaker 2It's been an eventful two weeks. I'm missing organs.
Speaker 1You are. I am, and because you were missing organs, we actually had time to catch up. Well, we kind of teased at this in the last episode, but we had time to catch up on Vader Pump Rules, which is probably going to be a majority of what we talk about this episode.
Speaker 2We should start with what we did before my surgery. Yes, because we got advanced screeners for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean I. So I think, when we went to see the Barbie movie, which we did an episode on, and we will definitely link to that. Yeah, but when we went to go see the Barbie movie we saw a preview for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
Speaker 2And we were like holy shit.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean like as someone who was born in the 80s. Yes, I am old, but as someone who was also born in the 80s. I know, I know, but like, as someone who was born in the 80s who has an extreme fondness for the Teenage, Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was just like I'm not sure if this needs to be done again, and but I am going to give it a chance.
Speaker 2Yeah, Like they. Like. We watched so many shows and documentaries on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Speaker 1What was that show on Netflix that we watched? Cartoons.
Speaker 2Oh, the there's like Toys that Made Us. Toys that Made Us, yes, and then they did. We actually watched like a feature length documentary on the birth yes. And, like I, growing up, I wasn't allowed to watch it. What? Yeah, I feel like you've told me this before but you got to tell the yeah, you got to tell the listeners, yeah, so I grew up Baptist.
Speaker 1Surprise, I wasn't allowed to watch most media.
Speaker 2I had to write an essay when I was in grade five about why I should be allowed to watch the Simpsons and then another one about why I should be allowed to watch Ghostbusters.
Speaker 1And it just makes me think about our episodes a few back when I was like I was out here at like 12 watching kids. Yeah, yeah, if we want to be rather explicit, I was out here raw dogging life.
Speaker 2Yeah, I mean, I think you were afforded permissions and I was not yeah, but I'm not sure.
Speaker 1Do you think that because your parents didn't give you permission to like watch all the media, watch all of these like types of shows, it made you isolated? That's a very deep question.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, well, I mean, I've had this conversation with them all. Yeah, she was like I just don't think kids should be watching that. And I'm like mom, you know how you didn't let me watch or violent anything or play violent video games. She's like, yeah, I'm like, do you know? Like exclusively play and watch nowadays? Yeah, and it's funny because like I don't.
Speaker 1The things that I exclusively watch are trashy reality television and shit that is mindless and campy, like that is the stuff that makes me that break, that makes my brain go bird. Yeah, yeah and but okay, back to the team yeah, we're getting, we're getting.
Speaker 2so so like I was like aware of like I all of my friends had like the, the, the van that shot pizzas out of it, yep, like I knew about the toy line, I knew about the cartoon. Yes, I got older I started watching like because they rebooted every like two to three years whenever their license is about to run out. Yeah, do another media franchise. So, and like I have a very like they've done some good stuff like in the past.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2And when this came out, we are both. Both of us were like this looks like spider-verse.
Speaker 1It does. It has like a huge spider-verse sort of look and feel to it. What I didn't know, going into this like screener which maybe we should have looked into, yeah, but I feel like it was more of a surprise and delay was that Seth Rogen actually helped, right? Yeah, I knew that. I didn't know that.
Speaker 2Yeah, I knew that Seth Rogen was pretty heavily involved in it Well.
Speaker 1yeah, I mean, why didn't you tell me?
Speaker 2I thought you knew, because it was all over the promotional. Sorry, I thought you were paying attention.
Speaker 1My attention to detail is just don't tell anybody, my attention is deficit. My attention is deficit.
Speaker 2So, but yeah, no, I. What did you think of?
Speaker 1it. I loved it. So, like I think that I went into it with the not to be like I'm really with the lowest of expectations. But because so many times films like this get rebooted and they do a terrible job at rebooting properties like this, you're kind of like, okay, I've seen this, where are they going to go with this? But there was a storyline. It was funny. There were jokes in there that were definitely for the millennial, like parents who are bringing their kids to come see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There was definitely some things that were a little more tailored towards kids. Like it was a good film.
Speaker 2Yeah well, the kids that played the Turtles they actually had them in, like they were recording between takes, so like a lot of the banter was very natural because it was just them getting to know each other.
Speaker 1And I love that. That is like I feel like more films should do that.
Speaker 2Yeah, and like that was my, I went in with higher, I went in jaded, so I was like this is gonna, this is just gonna be a cash grab for spider verse. Like they figured out they spider verse revolutionize. How they should do these kinds of like this type of animation. Yeah, but like the human characters, like I was like they were very uncanny and like I talked to some people that they're like, yeah, but it felt like the 90s clay nation, yeah, and I'm like that's fair.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But I also feel like they did a good job in not doing too much with humans until like the very beginning and the very end.
Speaker 1Who, who was the actor that played the villain in this film?
Speaker 2Oh, I Was it ice cube right.
Speaker 1Yes, ice cube. I always get iced tea and ice cube mixed up different different different rappers different different ices, different ices.
Speaker 2Yes, that's why Mr Ice, who has oh, yeah and W.
Speaker 1Yeah, so I, he was so good as that. Oh, he was great. Yeah he just he brought a little penvash. Yeah, I think that character which is why he got yes yeah, which is why they cast him as that character. But, like I just loved, there was just some things that were said and I was like yes, like clearly, the things that are being said here are not for the children there, for the adults.
Speaker 2And yeah, not like they swore. I love that they actually made Donnie a nerd, like he was wearing a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Yes, which was great yeah, I loved Seth Rogen and John Cena as Bebop Rocksteady. Oh my god, the perfect pair unreal. Yeah, I was like these guys don't really have any chemistry, I think, but like it works.
Speaker 1Yeah, it did work. Also, John Cena's having an incredible summer because he was also in Barbie.
Speaker 2Yeah, john Cena's been doing like. He's like, I want to be the rock I.
Speaker 1Am the new rock.
Speaker 2I am the new rock. It's like the rock.
Speaker 1That was so two thousand lengths.
Speaker 2Oh, you mean Dwayne.
Speaker 1Yeah, so perfect, perfect casting. Also I Loved in. I don't think we're really spoiling anything, but I loved that Paul Rudd was also in it.
Speaker 2Oh, paul Rudd and Mikey's Dynamic yeah was the highlight of the entire movie. Yes, like Paul Rudd, as Mondo Gecko right.
Speaker 1Yes, I'm real that character so good. But then I love in the credits when they're like Paul Rudd as if Paul Rudd has never been in anything, ever before.
Speaker 2No, it like honestly highly recommended I. I don't think it's gonna win any awards, no, but I do think it's gonna get like several, several sequels as well as a TV show spin-off.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean, it's kind of like he were supposed to come when I went and saw Super Mario. Yeah, and again watch the reason yeah, and like you, you were like, I liked it, but I didn't love it. Well, we don't need to get down, oh.
Speaker 2TMNT was for everyone, yes, and whereas Mario was for kids, yeah, and like, like, did it have moments that I appreciate? Sure, yeah, mainly to do the music, but like it was fun. I enjoyed it yeah but I love, I love TMNT.
Speaker 1Yeah, and I think kind of when you look at those two beside one another, they're clearly setting it up to to pass along the baton and carry on the torch of these cartoons and like video games that we had in our childhood, to kids that yeah.
Speaker 2It's the millennials like the, the younger millennials, who are now having children, being like I want to show you yeah what. I was into when I was your age, Totally yeah.
Speaker 1I love that. I do too. Yeah, it's fun. So I guess we should kind of talk about what what we've actually been doing for the last two weeks.
Speaker 2Well, I, I've, I've been for the last two weeks like strung out on pain meds.
Speaker 1Yes, because surgery, surgery, yeah and don't worry, everything is fine, I'm fine. Yeah, we don't need to get into the details.
Speaker 2Yeah, playing Final Fantasy 8 yeah, but watching better from rules.
Discussion on Vanderpump Rules and Characters
Speaker 1Yeah, and I guess we should preface what. So I Didn't start watching Vanderpump rules until. Yeah, the beginning of the pinnity, which I mean. Covid is still here. Let's just call that out. Yeah that's what I said beginning. Yes, okay, but I remember people used to tell me all the time they're like you need to watch Vanderpump rules. It's so unhinged you will love it and I was like I don't know.
Speaker 1then I watched it and immediately got caught up into the current season, fast-forward to now and like and I talked to you about it- yeah, you didn't like I love Vanderpump and I'm like yeah, yeah and.
Speaker 2But my good friend Miles Davis was like I'm watching Vanderpump and you have to watch it.
Speaker 1That was like yeah, he's like it's.
Speaker 2It is so good. Yes.
Speaker 1So I feel like, also now that you have started watching it, we have to go back to our episode one guest, jenny Belaze. Yes, because Jenny was also like River. You need to watch Vanderpump.
Speaker 2Yes, yeah.
Speaker 1It's only taken like what? Half a season, yeah, but like I'm here, yeah, you were here.
Speaker 2We're about halfway through season five now.
Speaker 1Yes, so in two weeks we have watched five seasons.
Speaker 2Yes.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's strictly all we have watched.
Speaker 2Yeah, we've watched one episode of the bear and I was like I need to get caught up in Vanderpump.
Speaker 1So we don't need any bear spoilers.
Speaker 2We don't like that'll be the next season, because we haven't even finished.
Speaker 1Righteous gemstones. Yeah season finale is air.
Speaker 2Yeah, I really enjoy righteous. Just don't. I need to see what's going on we need to see Vanderpump through. Yeah, so. I think you should tell the audience, yeah so first season I was like Okay, well, jax is clearly a sociopath.
Speaker 1Yeah good take yeah.
Speaker 2And then season five. He does the sociopath test and yeah, spoiler alert.
Speaker 1He is still yeah, and.
Speaker 2I was like. Stasi also lays between like absolutely terrible human being and kind of self-aware Saying like the truest things on the entire series.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I was like poor Sheena. But then, as the season went along, I was like I don't know about Sheena. And then fast forward to the season where comes out that Shay is a addicted to pills and an alcoholic, and she's like well, I couldn't be married to someone who, like, doesn't drink, so like you have to still drink. You just don't drink and it's like girl, that's not how addiction works.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's like, hmm, I'm gonna, I'm gonna try and like explain this to you like a grade five.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1Sorry, explain to me like I'm fine.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1Adjection means that if you're supporting your partner through that addiction, you also cannot be partaking in the things.
Speaker 2Well, not only that, but you can't just be like no, no, no, like just drink, but in moderation. But like moderate, it's like girl, that would be good, right yeah.
Speaker 1I'm sure Shay would want that too.
Speaker 2Yeah, but so currently like oh, you've, you've missed James. Oh, I was gonna get you. Okay, now I was gonna say currently like I'm watching this and I know what happened to San Juan. Yes, of course, and I don't know. I don't remember who it was with, I just know San Juan, ariana, yeah.
Speaker 1That's all I know.
Speaker 2Okay, and I know you also haven't talked about Kristen.
Speaker 1Yeah, you have, you've, you've said yeah you've shared so many thoughts and feels about Kristen with me.
Speaker 2I think therapy has done Kristen a lot of favors.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2Like for season one and two, where she's like low key, has slept cheated on San Paol with Jax.
Speaker 1Jax of all people.
Speaker 2With Jax.
Speaker 1Which, like, can we just? Okay? It's been very interesting for me to rewatch this, even though it hasn't been that long since I watched it the first time. But for me now going back and rewatching this and like, wait a minute. Like, apparently, and and Kristen says this during season five, we have a brother sister relationship, but I'm like you just slept with your brother, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2No, he yeah no, I think that the the hive mind, that is, katie, kristen and Sheena, is just you mean Katie, kristen and. Stacey sorry, yeah is just like the most toxic entity on the entire show.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2Where it's like. But then, yeah, we got introduced to James and La La and, like I am, I was like I can't believe this is how you're getting introduced to James. I'm like he seems like a totally fine kid. Yeah, I was like okay, oh, just wait, I was like sure, continue yeah and I don't know what this kid is doing with his life.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2He's like like I think that a turning point was when Kristen punched him at Sheena's wedding.
Speaker 1I thought you were going to say the turning point. Or maybe it's not a turning point, I have no idea. When Ken said I'm going to knock your fucking fucking no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2when James went from like kind of kind of insecure unsure of himself lesser yeah to like. I'm fucking all I'm James fucking can't I'm like I'm like, who, who, who, who, who.
Speaker 1Oh my god, I have no words. And yeah, I think that was when Kristen punched him at Sheena's wedding, and yeah, or the fact that James is always so fucking delusional and just like they're all jealous of me because I'm a DJ.
Speaker 2That's like girl, you, you work like three busing shifts a week, like okay, and nothing against bussers, obviously, but it's like you had a background primarily in food and bed. Yeah, yeah, so like, yeah, obviously, but it's like girl, no one's jealous.
Speaker 1Yeah, like no one is jealous of your boogie, you make music and you don't even have an actual apartment. Like you share an apartment with another guy and you have a privacy screen up. Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 2And bring girls back to Right. How embarrassing is that.
Speaker 1Yeah, you're like what 24? You're like this is my apartment.
Speaker 2I worked for a guy and his roommate was like. He was like, yeah, he was bringing boys back and he has like no top sheet mattress on the floor. What, yeah?
Speaker 1and I was like Are men okay, I like.
Speaker 2No, no, well, I mean I'm wrong person to ask, so Fair, fair.
Speaker 1Yeah, men are not okay. Oh, Tom Schwartz.
Speaker 2Oh, so like I have this like.
Speaker 1It's like a likability.
Speaker 2It's like the D&D alignment chart where it's, but it's intelligence to likability and like true neutral for now, because obviously I know Sample Right now. Tom Sandoval is true neutral, james Kennedy is like Dumb as Rocks hate boner. And like Tom Schwartz is Dumb as Rocks and lovable.
Speaker 1Yeah, like Schwartz is like a golden retriever.
Speaker 2Yeah, he does shitty things and he's not blameless.
Speaker 1And, like Katie and him watching this back, they should not be getting married no. And like I think we talked about this because, like they showed them going to therapy, they show a bunch of scenes like that, tom going to therapy on his own. But like I just I think they're both very young, they haven't like got, aren't they in their 20s? No they're in their 20s, okay, okay. When we get to the later seasons there, okay, okay, yeah. Or maybe they are in their 30s, oh my god, Could you imagine?
Speaker 2That's why I'm like I think they're like late 20s or like. I think Schwartz is like.
Speaker 1I think Jack.
Speaker 2We're gonna have to watch this. Jack is like 37. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, but I always think that Jacks has been the oldest of the group and like the rest, are significantly younger and so like they are. But they are, so we'll have to fact check that. But, like, whatever age they are, I think you and I were talking about this and we were watching. I was like you know, when you and I first started dating, I was a hot fucking mess.
Speaker 2Well, not only that, but I was outside of your dating age range. Yes, like you were 29, I was 22.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2But it just so happened that you were a immature 28, 29 year old and I was a very mature 22 year old, yeah, and by very mature. I just mean high masking, high functioning yeah. Closeted autistic person yeah.
Speaker 1And, to be fair, that's what I was looking for.
Speaker 2Yes, I was like this is my type.
Speaker 1Yeah, oh, my type is not men.
Speaker 2Speaking of Vanderpump and not men, vanderpump was what made me realize. Oh hey, hormones have made me not bisexual anymore. Yeah yeah, I was like. It was like a beach episode. I feel like jacks. All the boys were being like shit heads and I'm like why do these women? They have everything going for them, they're beautiful, they're not smart, but they have like a whole lives ahead and they're wasting it on these stupid girls. They're wasting it on these stupid fucking men. What did they even bring to the table? Then I stopped and I thought about it and I'm like straight people. They are probably conventionally attractive and I feel nothing points them.
Speaker 1Oops, lesbian, yeah, I mean it's so funny because every day I'm like but why are men yeah?
Speaker 2Yeah, and as somebody who used to have testosterone but no longer has testosterone. I speak on it. It's like I'm trying to think of like a. It's like a superpower, Okay, yeah, but like you sacrifice part of your rational brain for it.
Speaker 1It's interesting that you mentioning that makes me think of the TikTok, and I realize this has nothing to do with Vanderpump, but it's kind of. This is the show, this is the show.
Speaker 2This is what you sign up for.
Vanderpump Rules and Gender Dynamics Discussion
Speaker 1It reminds me of that TikTok that you sent me about the trans man who was saying it's so lonely and they didn't realize how the loneliness that men experience which I know people are like men, lonely. We don't want to hear about that. However, I think the points that were being made in this TikTok were that, like men don't know how to express feeling or emotion, it was less that and it was more like it's more of a socialization thing, like, because I remember, even when I was like deeply, deeply closeted and more slash out but not going to transition.
Speaker 2Yeah, I remember even saying to like my therapist, like hey, I'm fucking lonely. I wish that I had deeper connections with people, but I feel like my relationships with men only go so far and yeah. I don't think that that was had anything to do with the test officer room. I think that is purely a socialization thing.
Speaker 1Yeah, I can see that 100%. I think, and I don't think we need to focus on this, that was just more of an aside, yeah, but I think it's interesting because we do see that present in all of these. We do see that present in all of these relationships with the men in Vanderpump rules it's I'm the number one guy in this group. You're not the number one guy.
Speaker 2I'm the number one guy.
Speaker 1I'm the number one guy in this group that. So that's what? Season four or season five?
Speaker 2I think six four.
Speaker 1Yeah, so Jacks and Tom Sandoval. Jacks is like coked out of his brain.
Speaker 2Out of his fucking mind, his eyeballs are just like he can feel his teeth.
Speaker 1His teeth but like his eyeballs are just like coming out of his head Falling, dilated he's screaming at Tom Sandoval, being like stop acting like you're the number one guy.
Speaker 2I'm the number one guy and I feel like again with testosterone. These are moments where the cast, but also men period are trying to have a connection. But, one socialization and two testosterone fucks with you, and we know that Jacks is a heavy steroid user because of the breast tissue he had removed several times.
Speaker 1Yeah, yes, mixed with the cocaine.
Speaker 2Mixed with the cocaine.
Speaker 1It's probably all not a good cocktail combination.
Speaker 2Yeah, no, I think that in that moment, what he was trying to say is I feel really insecure when Well, he has that conversation with Peter on the beach about how he feels very lonely.
Speaker 1So, yeah, yeah, he knows, he knows. And he always says I don't know why I do these things. Does it for attention? That's why.
Speaker 2And yeah, my heart goes out to them. Just transition, that was my solution. It's easy.
Speaker 1Could you OK, so I think, out of Tom Sandoval.
Speaker 2Let's not talk about forcibly feminizing the fucking cats to Vanderbump Room.
Speaker 1Well, no, I'm not going to talk about forcibly feminizing them. We haven't gotten there in any of the seasons. I'm sorry, what? But you will see, tom dresses up in drag.
Speaker 2Oh, I saw a clip of that.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, and I think out of the three men on the show, tom Sandoval is probably the most Secure. Secure and in touch with their feminine energy, if you will.
Speaker 2I would agree with that. Because, part of me goes like no, no, no Schwartz. But then I'm like no, schwartz is in him though.
Speaker 1Energy yes. Schwartz has energy Sandoval is in touch with their feminine energy and Jax is just Jax.
Speaker 2Is Jax, jax probably Jax is cast on that villain show.
Speaker 1Oh my god, we have to watch that when it comes out. And if none of you have heard about it, there's a new show on E coming out in, I guess a few weeks, called House of Villains, which has Shake from Love is Blind, has Jax, has Tiffany Paulini.
Speaker 2New York.
Speaker 1OK, for those of you listening, when River and I got married, we got a cameo from Tiffany from New York, which like amazing, incredible, so awesome. Who else is on it again?
Speaker 2The guy from Survivor who lied about his grandma dying.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think it's Johnny Phamplet.
Speaker 2Bananas.
Speaker 1No, no, no. Johnny Bananas is from the Challenge, which, for all you original MTV folks, the Challenge like CT and Johnny Bananas are like the OGs Um Omarosa.
Speaker 2I was gonna say the woman who like dancing with pans.
Speaker 1Oh, that's Bad Girls Club Taneisha, if I'm not mistaken, but Omarosa was on. I love how I just know all these names, like this person at this point. I mean this is your special interest? Yeah, it is Um Omarosa, originally from the apprentice, but she also had a small stint in politics. Honestly, as soon as I saw the preview clip for this, it was just like this is gonna be fucking wild.
Speaker 2Well, the TikTok that I saw where I learned about it introduced. Jack says the number one guy and I was like he is literally never gonna live that down. Never gonna live that down, that is the only thing he's gonna be known for.
Speaker 1Literally the only number one guy, number one guy, forever and always. Okay, since we have five more seasons to go in Vander Coppe For everyone, I have not been spoiling anything, I think. For me it's been great to rewatch the seasons because you know we've seen Santa Claus terrible hair braids that you were like. I think those actually are box braids.
Speaker 2Yeah, someone was a French braid and the side were like I think those are braids and I was like I don't know about that, yeah it's questionable.
Speaker 1Then we got to see Sheena wearing blue content, like there's just been some questionable things. I mean the whole show is questionable. We got to see.
Speaker 2Go back to making Cosmos Pump teeny.
Speaker 1But since I haven't been spoiling, anything for you, what do you? What are you looking forward to most?
Speaker 2Well, I'm because I know there are some things that I just know happen. Like I know Kristen leaves the show. I know that Jackson Brittany leave the show because they get spin off. Yep, an anticipating, a redemption story for James, at least in the eyes of Lisa, because and I think that'll probably be next season or season seven yeah, obviously think that Sandoval and Ariana probably have like a marriage story. Did they get married?
Speaker 1I'm not going to spoil.
Speaker 2I know Ariana is like so anti marriage, but like production and they need to jump something up. I know Raquel is going to play more of a role at some point.
Speaker 1I'm excited about NDAs.
Speaker 2I really want to see what happens at the end of that, because we know that James hasn't signed it, I just want to see more Ken and Jiggy. Yeah, lisa is my favorite, obviously. Yep, I'm excited to see Peter continue to Homer Simpson into the background, because he went from like goatee wearing beach bum to like jacked businessman. Yes, true, true facts. Yeah, no, I'm. I'm really hoping something happens with Schwartz and Sandoval and the the Sangria.
Speaker 1That's done. That's done. Oh man, I was really hoping that they were setting that up. No, no no that storyline is done, okay.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, what we'll do is for everyone who's clearly very interested in this once we continue, once we get to like.
Speaker 2We'll do bi-weekly updates about you know what I'm thinking about, where we are.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think it's important to document this Absolutely.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1I think, I think this is it. I think that's where we, I think that's where we should leave it. Yeah, because then, when we come back, we can then talk about where we're at. Yeah, but in two weeks we have our episode with another person who actually did a cameo for our wedding Darcy, darcy.
Speaker 2So Is it coming to or is it just?
Speaker 1Darcy I, I, you know what I have to go back and double check. But for those of you on the TikTok, or if you're in Canada, you might be familiar with this individual. They are huge on TikTok and they talk a lot about ADHD they talk a lot about. I interviewed them previously about being a stoner on the internet.
Speaker 2That's his most famous, their most famous pop quiz for their my stoner husband, yeah.
Speaker 1So we're going to be having Darcy Michaels on the podcast, which I'm very excited about so excited and perhaps Jarrah will be there. Not entirely sure, we will see, but we're. I know that they're moving into a new house because you know we have a parasocial relationship with them. Yeah, clearly they have shared on the internet that they're moving, so our friend.
Speaker 2Jarrah and Darcy.
Speaker 1Yeah, but that's going to be our next episode in two weeks is with.
Speaker 2I'm super pumped. I'm super pumped too, yeah.
Speaker 1We'll talk about Yuma and ocean and ocean, our dog, and, let's be honest, it will probably be a little chaotic and very I'm not anticipating speaking at all in that episode.
Speaker 2I'm just going to have a pop corn and I'll let you guys have at it.
Speaker 1That sounds great. Why don't you tell the folks where to find us? I want to do you can find us everywhere except for.
Speaker 2Twitter. This Twitter is a little bit of a list anymore.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, it's X yeah.
