On Growing

#2 - Navigating your teenage years (Secondary school, friends & hormones)

Sarah & Eva Season 2 Episode 2

In episode 2 Eva & Sarah reflect back on their teenage years. They talk about starting secondary school, making friends & doing the leaving cert.
Being a teenager can be a difficult time for many especially with the added pressure of the Leaving Cert (A-Levels) and deciding what to do with the rest of your life. Now add in hormones, petty school drama & rocky friendships and you've got a recipe for disaster.
Talking about how their mental health effected their relationships & academics, they  think about how nobody really prepares you for this awkward life stage.
They discuss about how much their lives have changed & also reflect on all the fun they had. Boil the kettle & prepare to reminisce on all the highs & lows of growing up.

We are two gals discussing all things adulthood. Things we weren’t taught in school, that made you wonder ‘is anyone else going through the same thing? The same experiences? Having the same thoughts? How does one even become an adult?’

We talk college, moving out, mental health,  relationships, puberty, sexism, traveling and So much more.

These are our experiences of navigating adulthood, the highs, and lows, and just generally trying to figure life out as we go.

Through a collection of our own experiences, we answer the questions everyone seems to have about growing up and trying to find your place in the world, from a ‘been there, done that perspective.

We are so excited for you to listen to our stories, laugh with us, and hopefully find something relatable in it all.

We hope you enjoy it!
