Joe McDonough, father of Andrew, experienced the worst kind of loss in an extraordinarily short time frame. Andrew had a rare form of cancer and fought bravely, but passed away. Now, Joe heads an organization called The Andrew McDonough B+ foundation, which helps to support children's cancer research.
