A NOTE FROM BUDDY
I made another post on Nextdoor after this original one about hitting golf balls into the pond, it was a picture of a golf ball sitting in front of a body of water and that got some folks going too. No scam calls on today’s episode unfortunately. I’ve felt next to no motivation to do any scambaiting recently. I’ve gotta get past the Norton or Macafee antivirus subscriptions renewals and learn a little bit about crypto so I can mess with those guys. I don’t think the antivirus scams will be going away anytime soon but I feel like I’ve hit a wall with those. Sam and I have been cooking up some ideas for new stuff on the show recently and Sam suggested reaching out to astrology enthusiasts via a flyer. A year or so back we posted a flyer looking for another host named Sydney after the original Sydney quit the show. Believe it or not we got a response and someone called the WDUM mainline saying their name was Sydney and they wanted to be on the show. Things never came to fruition but flyers can work. If you have someone you think would be interesting for us and Waylon/Percy to talk to please send along their information. Things remain a bit hectic in the world of the WDUM so our schedule is going to stay inconsistent, but please spread the word and tell your friends and family about the show- we’d love to get a few more listeners. As a show of appreciation here is my own recipe for a phenomenal pasta you can make at home that tastes great in the summer.
INGREDIENTS
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
Olive oil
5 cloves of garlic sliced thin
Copious black pepper
2 sprigs of rosemary chopped
Balsamic vingegar
Parmesan cheese chopped into small blocks
Heat up the garlic and rosemary in olive oil in a pan until it starts to sizzle, right when it sizzles add the tomatoes and a liberal amount of black pepper. Start cooking the pasta in another pot. Cook the sauce for about 20 minutes, drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, stir it around and create a well in the middle. Dump about a quarter of a cup of balsamic vinegar in the well and coat the pasta in black pepper again. Add the cheese cubes and stir for a few minutes. One of my favorite dishes.
