Ever hit rock bottom and wonder how to climb back up? Imagine losing every penny you had, including your retirement savings, and then finding the resilience to start anew. That’s the journey we’re kicking off this season on The Daily American. I'm back, your everyday Joe Schmo, sharing raw and unfiltered conversations with ordinary folks who embody the true spirit of resilience. Everyone has ups and downs, some of us more than others based off how we cope with certain events. From personal setbacks to unexpected triumphs, this episode sets the tone for a season dedicated to stories that mirror our own struggles and victories. Like many who have opened up on the Daily American, I must find a way to overcome some concurrent issues.

After a hiatus marked by personal and financial turmoil, I'm returning with a renewed commitment but same addictions to bring you compelling stories that resonate with the average American. Forget the glitz and glamour of Hollywood; we’re diving into the real-life experiences that shape our communities. This premiere episode highlights the importance of perseverance and finding hope in the most unlikely places. So buckle up and tell your grandma' to tune in—these are the unsung tales of everyday heroes, told one voice at a time.

Speaker 2:

Today we are back with the Daily American. As you guys can probably tell, social media has picked up a bit, but if this is too much for you, just hit that unfollow button, because turn your bunker stereo off in the vehicle and just call it quits on myself and the Daily American, because we're just not meant for each other. The Daily American, because we're just not meant for each other. Now, if you want an unfiltered, raw and real podcast about just everyday people from all walks of life, no, not just in America. I'm the Daily American. Just your everyday Joe Schmo. A daily American, just your everyday Joe Schmo. Just one of those people that you may be passing in the mall, an unsung individual. We happen to make up the fabric of this great country. Not special Didn't grow up with a silver spoon. Daddy didn't hand us a business, we're just the regulars. It's funny because during my time in the service, we were the regulars. Shout out to 1st Armored Division. Ah, I hear you, mr 82nd Super Soldier. I was just a regular With a backbone of every town, including the town I grew up in, kunchahokan. We all have our stories of trials and tribulations. So that brings us to season four, season three.

Speaker 2:

I was slacking. I haven't done anything for the podcast since I released the last episode in December. I was focused on work Huh, go figure, huh, go figure, work. I definitely wasn't focused on the podcast, I can tell you that. But some of the stories from the previous seasons take a listen to them Unreal, not your Hollywood shit for a life stories.

Speaker 2:

Now fast forward two months after the last season, the last episode of season three, just like that shit, can't that? Somehow I pissed away every dollar in my bank account, including my 401k, hitting the slot machines a little bit too hard. Traditionally I'm a vicious sports guy, but occasionally I'll go on a little slot machine run and damn near half a mil later. Then the man ain't the man, no more. Got some other challenges going on that we'll dive into. But let me be very, very clear I don't think this is the end, unless I croak right now.

Speaker 2:

It's a fresh start. It's a new beginning. I could just get a job and go work for a Peter. Peter, he's the CEO, of course. You know, peter, he's the CEO. Daddy handed him everything, never really had to strive for much, because Daddy was right there Bailing him out of everything. I don't want to go work for Peter, so I'm going to go hard on this podcast for a few months and see what we can do. I ask you guys for your support, not because I'm good at this, because we need more voices of just the regulars. So we're going to start with episode one in a couple weeks and then I'm also going to have some awesome guests on.

Speaker 2:

These are conversations about resilience, about picking ourselves up when we're down, finding hope in unexpected places. So you guys, come along, for this ride Could be a rough one. Strap in your seatbelts. Tell your grandmothers to tune in. Us Daily Americans got a voice, one story at a time. The Daily American Podcast is always unscripted, unapologetic and definitely American. Thank you, and stay tuned for the extraordinary conversations with the extraordinary individuals.
