The Working Mother Experience
Welcome to The Working Mother Experience - the podcast where we go beyond the highlight reel to uncover the real stories behind remarkable women balancing meaningful careers, motherhood, and everything in between.
Each episode, we sit down with leaders, entrepreneurs, physicians, creators, and changemakers to explore the systems, decisions, challenges, and beliefs that shape their lives at work and at home.
Together, we'll uncover the operating systems, practical strategies, honest lessons, and thoughtful conversations designed to help working mothers thrive -not by chasing perfect balance, but by building lives that work for them.

Meet Amanda Robertson, engineer, dancer, mother, and artist.
Amanda participated in one of The Working Mother Experience's virtual workshops through the organization Pros and Babes (https://www.prosandbabes.com/), creating a beautiful piece of original art in community with women that she has grown to know and call her community over the last 6 years.
Amanda reminds us of the beauty of motherhood; of growing a human and the majesty of surrendering to your child as they grow and develop their sense of self and autonomy.
She shares her morning routine, including her writing prompts that she uses to regularly check in with herself to ensure she's optimally functioning and moving through each day.
Amanda's intentionality, creativity, and honesty are inspiring, reminding us of so many beautiful moments as mothers and the need to ensure we remain connected to our creative selves. And that we need to pick the things that matter!
Thank you, Amanda, for your artistry, time and passion. It was such a pleasure!
