Episode 4. Ant Navigation: Stilts vs. Stumps
Happy Tuesday science/Bonnie and Averill lovers! Welcome back to Episode 4.
On today’s ep:
- More on ovaries
- A stressed out Bonnie
- How Saharan desert ants navigate
- Ants on stilts
- Ants with their legs cut off
- Various rants
Today we get into a paper on how ants in the Saharan desert (without the usual landmarks and pheromone trails) navigate.
Turns out scientists are creative, ants *probably* can’t count, and science memes will always have a place in our hearts.
