It is a Blend Of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Merlot, the only Bordeaux-approved grape missing is Cabernet Franc.

Meritage is a California organization dedicated to the research and education of Bordeaux grapes, they collect a fee for using the Meritage name.

This is an Aldi wine that has been available for several vintages.
