Let's talk about global warming.

The 2021 Mark West Pinot Noir had a heat spike in July causing the grapes to ripen ahead of schedule.

The grapes needed help, so they added Zinfandel and Graciano grapes to the mix, not the usual Pinot Noir accompaniment.

Mark West does Pinot Noir well, the 2021 vintage, with its interesting included grapes is not classic Pinot Noir.

Is that a bad thing?
