Shifting Culture
Shifting Culture is a podcast about faith, justice, and spiritual formation in a divided world. Hosted by Joshua Johnson, the show features long-form conversations with authors, theologians, artists, and cultural thinkers exploring the way of Jesus, nonviolence, reconciliation, and human dignity.
Each episode goes beyond theory to ask practical questions: How do we break cycles of violence and fear? What does it mean to love our enemies? How do faith, culture, creativity, and justice shape the way we live together? If you’re searching for thoughtful conversations on spiritual growth, justice, and healing (especially for those disillusioned with shallow answers) Shifting Culture offers depth, honesty, and hope.

Ep. 36 Pam Arlund - Pioneering Missions with Eyes on Jesus
Pam Arlund discusses missions to the least reached people of the earth, utilizing a prophetic voice, and we even do some listening prayer in the middle of the conversation!
Dr. Pam Arlund is on the International Leadership Team at All Nations. Pam spent ten years in Central Asia as a church planter and Bible translator working among a previously unengaged people group. Along with others, she was able to help lead people to Jesus and train them to lead their own churches. Pam trains local churches and missionaries around the globe on effective disciple making principles. She received her PhD in Linguistics in 2006. She is the author of many articles and books on missions. She travels widely, training and encouraging local churches, missionaries through on-site trainings and Perspectives classes.
