Speaker 1:

Hey, welcome folks. I'm Craig with NitroMedic and coming at you live from Mount Rushmore National Memorial and right here, flag promenade of all the different flags of different states. You can check those out as you walk through the promenade here. There's not a whole lot of park to see here, but there is a lot of history definitely a cool place to check out. If you're ever in the area, the park is free to come in and go around, but of course you have to pay to park. I'll get to the end here. I'll show you the whole flag promenade or whatever you want to call it. Pretty neat, wow, what a cool view. Huh, beautiful. Quite a few people here today, but evidently they get a big bunch of people here in the summertime and this is definitely interesting. Behind me, behind me is good was the sculpture of this of Mount Rushmore pretty amazing to see.

Speaker 1:

I have to admit I wanted to finish up my video for Mount Rushmore by looking up here.

Speaker 1:

So if you look on top of the mountain there, you can see the profile in granite of George Washington and according to the little panel here, his head is 60 feet tall, the nose itself is 20, the mouth is 18 feet wide.

Speaker 1:

Hard to tell from up here. That's pretty far up there, but if they had actually built him out to be a full figure, maybe as tall as a 40-story building, isn't that crazy, but anyway, I mean, rushmore's main attraction is, of course, the mountain sculpture of the four presidents, but this place can be in the interpretation of whatever you want to be, and that's the cool thing about most of our parks that we have out there, as they all kind of be like that frame this up. Just right. They can all be like that, and I hope you've enjoyed today's adventure. If you're ever out in this area, you definitely need to come check it out and if you like this video, make sure you give me a thumbs up, think about subscribing to the channel for more content like this and if you got any questions or comments, leave those below.
