Episode 126 - John Carr - Extraordinarily Talented Singer Musician
It was a great pleasure to chat to the in demand and successful musician singer songwriter John Carr!
John's amazingly distinctive voice has meant he has been in constant demand to work with other artists, and he writes and produces his own material too. His version of The Association's 'Never My Love' is as I put it "better than the original" (sorry!) but I play a bit of it so you can make your own mind up!
John has worked with a multitude of people in the music world, including Leo Sayer, Elkie Brooks, Mike and The Mechanics and the one and only Sir Elton John!
John tells me about how he met Elton and his band in a pub and ended up working with him too!
We talk about how technology has changed in the industry over the years, and John has some great advice for others too.
