Actor Taraji P. Henson struck a political tone as host of the resent BET Awards.   Bearing witness to racial injustice, economic disparities, and the importance of voting.

Acts 22:15 serves as a reminder that we are to be a truthful witness for Jesus telling everyone of what you have seen and heard of the Lord.

Your witnessing is required to lift up the causes that our community should care and know about.  You voice is needed to illuminate the issues of the day.  Use your platforms on social media, your personal relationships plus your status in the community and with your family to witness. Witness, to call out injustice. Witness to sound the alert against racism. And witness to praise the goodness of God.

“You are my witnesses,” is the command of the Lord from Isaiah 43:10.  As we approach the election, I urge you to educate yourself to learn the issues so that you can witness effectively.

Educate yourself so you can witness accurately about Joe Biden’s fitness for office.  Educate yourself so you can witness accurately about Donald Trump’s plans for the country including Project 2025. Educate yourself so you

that you can be a truthful witness for Jesus. For as Proverbs 14:25 tells us “A truthful witness saves lives, but one who breathes out lies is deceitful.”

Be a truthful witness for Jesus.
