Devotional: A New Season Of Hope

It’s the start of new football season and hope abounds.  For top teams like Georgia there is the hope that comes from being again in the National Championship hunt.   

Hope is even present for lesser teams as they measure success by the progress made from game to game. 

In the mist of all of this hopefulness there is despair. The despair that comes in loneness, the despair that is present when a relationship fails, the despair when money is too short, and the month is too long.   

Titus 3:7 tells us God has justified us by his grace and in his grace, there is hope.  A hope that will bring companionship for the lonely, a hope that will comfort the broken heart and even a hope will give resources where there are none.  

There is a new season of hope.
