Doug sits down with Elizabeth Buccino, Education Director, and Lizbet Carroll Fuller, Education Program Manager from the Artists Association of Nantucket.
They talk about offering a range of art classes and workshops this fall, catering to artists of all ages and skill levels. Beginning October 15th, the programs include children’s classes like Clay Sculpture, Wheelthrowing, and a Free Teen Portfolio workshop for high school students. Adults can explore various mediums with workshops such as Nantucket Wildflowers: Watercolors and Mastering the Still Life & Landscape in Oil.
Additionally, AAN continues its FREE Senior Series for artists aged 60+, offering classes in painting, ceramics, and multimedia. The association is also contributing to the No More Empty Bowls event on October 27th, supporting the Nantucket Pantry. Registration opens on September 13th at www.nantucketarts.org.
