Big OH! & J. Tanae'

On this episode of KROSS BARZ Big OH! and J. Tanae' talk music and theatre with singer/songwriter Antonio "Tony" Terry.  This interview was full of great conversation, insight into the entertainment business, some laughs, and a few interruptions. Nevertheless, we were determined to get to know Mr. Terry and his golden voice that places him a cut above the rest.  Originally from North Carolina, Tony moved to Washington, DC, with his mother, and was enrolled in The Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Being in this cultured environment, Tony was able to hone in on his gifts of singing and acting. This led to many opportunities to use his talents and creativity on stage, in movie soundtracks, and in audio recordings.

One of Tony's hit songs entitled "With You", from his second self-titled album, is a testament to this success. As well as other Billboard top hits like "She's Fly", "Lovey Dovey",  and "Everlasting Love."  Alternatively, Mr. Terry is an accomplished actor. He has graced the stage in plays such as David E. Talbert's "Mama, I Want to Sing", "Sisterella (co-produced by Michael Jackson); His Woman, His Wife, co-starring Stephanie Mills; and was on The Wiz National Tour as the Tin Man.

Tony Terry is a down-to-earth guy who speaks sincerely of his spirituality and what has kept him focused, blessed, and still able to use his voice as it was purposed to do. He is currently working on a project with Clark Sisters so stay tuned for updates.
