Big OH! & J. Tanae'

On this episode of KROSS BARZ, Big Oh! and J. Tanae' go international with Junior Giscombe.  Norman Washington "Junior" Giscombe is an English singer-songwriter and one of the first British R&B artists to be successful in the United States.  Junior is known for his smash hit single "Mama Used to Say" from the early 80's. This song not only gave you parental instructions but was a dance groove that still sustains. Junior speaks about being from Wandsworth, London, United Kingdom, to parents of Jamaican descent. He created music that crossed cultural and continental boundaries. Influenced by Michael Jackson, Prince, and many others, Junior was able to create a style all his own. This interview was fun, enlightening and provided the perspective that black music is magic and in demand all over the world. You can find Junior still on the music scene to this day.
