Happy 4th of July. As we celebrate this momentous day, let us reflect on the significance. In 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted, marking the birth of the United States and asserting the principles of liberty, equality and the pursuit of happiness. As we enjoy the festivities, let's also remember the courage of those who have fought for these ideals and acknowledge the work still needed to create a more perfect union. On this Independence Day, let's reaffirm our commitment to building a nation where all can experience the promise of our founding values. Happy 4th of July, everybody.

And with that, let's dig into our topic. Do you sometimes doubt your abilities or feel like an imposter at work? Feel like an imposter at work? A study by Leary and Company found that mindfulness can help reduce self-doubt and increase self-compassion. Today, our topic is embrace your inner strength. We will practice a short mindfulness technique to connect you with your inner strength and resilience. If it's safe for you to do so, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Place your hand on your heart and feel the steady beat of your own life force. Remember a time when you overcame a challenge or accomplished something meaningful. Feel the strength and courage that lies within you.

Speaker 1:

God lovers, tap into that still small voice, that relationship that you have or seek to have with your higher power, your divine mother, the God of Abraham, isaac and Jacob, silently repeat I am strong, I believe in myself. If you can't quite get there and if you can't quite believe it, turn it into a permissive statement. May I be strong, may I believe in myself. God lovers, you can recite any number of the things in the Hebrew Bible or the New Testament, where God defines how he views you. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Before you ever entered this earth, god knit you in your mother's womb. He knows the number of hairs on your head. He has counted every one of the tears you will ever shed. You are powerful. You are his glorious creation. No-transcript. By reconnecting with your inner strength, you are reminding yourself of your inherent resilience and capacity to handle whatever comes your way. As you move through your workday, remember to tap into this wellspring of strength whenever you need it.
