All eyes were on the top end of the table, but it was down the bottom this weekend where we saw most of the drama with one team getting a last minute stay of execution, another staying alive for one more week at least and plucky Amorebieta just refusing to lie down. Up the top, Valladolid slipped up, Racing Santander are so close to securing a play off spot and there was a partidazo between Espanyol and Oviedo as two top six sides clashed
