Podcast Premiere of “Always Creating Value™, Conversations for Successful Businesses” Featuring our First Guest Devon Blaine.

We’re proud to have Devon Blaine for the premiere of Always Creating Value™

“…Devon is in the business of assisting companies, mostly younger and rapidly growing companies, in their communications with customers and investors. She is simply the best public relations person I have encountered and does a wonderful job for her clients.” — Arthur Lipper III ‑ Former Publisher, Editor‑in‑Chief, and CEO of Venture Magazine.

“I am pleased to advise you that I have appointed you to the Governor’s Small Business Advisory Council. As a member of this Council, you will participate in a process of democratic governance with the potential for affecting the lives and lifestyle of some 22 million Californians.” ‑‑ Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr.

“…The positive results of your endeavors are evident. You are a credit to your profession and an important asset to those you serve.” – Former Governor Pete Wilson.

For Devon Blaine, the founder, president, and CEO of The Blaine Group, Inc., recently named the 24th largest public relations firm in Los Angeles, these accolades are a long way from her days as a bit player on the “Beverly Hillbillies.”

Formerly an actress and model, Blaine established The Blaine Group, a Beverly Hills‑based full‑service communications agency specializing in public relations, investor relations, crisis management, marketing, and advertising, in 1975. Since that time, the agency has expanded dramatically, creating communications campaigns for clients in diverse fields.

Besides helping other businesses maximize their success, Blaine has long been active in numerous organizations that aid entrepreneurs, thus earning her reputation as “the entrepreneur’s entrepreneur” and winning awards for The Blaine Group’s efforts along the way. The agency has received multiple awards from the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators. They include PRSA PRism Awards: First Place, Corporate On-Going Program; Second Place, Corporate On-Going Program; Honorable Mention, Financial Public Relations; Honorable Mention, Consumer Media Program; Honorable Mention, Single-Market Program; IABC Bronze Quill Awards: Honorable Mention, Ongoing Communications Program.

She is three times a past president of the Los Angeles’s Venture Association, a dynamic and diverse group composed of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and other money providers and service providers which exist for the sole purpose of creating win‑win situations amongst its members. An elected delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business, she has been active in the California delegation since 1978 and has served on the Board of Directors of 1980, 1982, and 1984 California State Conferences on Small Business. Appointed as a delegate to the 1986 White House Conference on Small Business by then U.S. Senator Pete Wilson, Blaine was elected by her peers to co‑chair the California delegation.

Blaine was a member of Governor Brown’s Small Business Advisory Council and has also served on the Advisory Board for the Senate Select Committee on Small Business Enterprises, the Assembly Select Committee on Small Business Resource Group, then-Senator Pete Wilson’s Small Business Advisory Board, as Chair of the Task Force for Implementation of the 1986 White House Conference on Small Business Recommendations for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, and was appointed by the Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley to the Advisory Board for the Mayor’s Office of Small Business Assistance.
