(Update) A Distillery by the Sea - Sheringham Distillery, with special guest Jason MacIsaac

Heather E Wilson Season 3 Episode 15

On today’s episode, I welcome back to the show Jason MacIsaac, Co-Founder and Master Distiller of Sheringham Distillery located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Today, we catch up and chat about what’s new since we last spoke (and there is a LOT of news!), their unique philosophy on product development, and of course their gins, and so much more.

Listen here to the original episode.

About Sheringham Distillery
From the Pacific ocean spray to the fresh floral blooms and a cool rainforest that is as refreshing as a seaside stroll – Sheringham is a true expression of island life on the west coast of Canada. Their flavour profiles are unmistakably recognizable in a full spectrum of libations and offer a smooth balance that only a chef’s palette could perfect while being celebrated as some of the best in the world. The Distillery’s inspiration was born from a Prohibition-era bottle washed up from the sea, a “Favourite” schooner, and one helluva good story.

About Jason MacIsaac,  Co-Founder & Master Distiller:
Jason's innovative chef-approach to recipes and distillation continually pushes boundaries and has resulted in a range of carefully crafted, utterly unique and smoothly-balanced flavour profiles. His experience ranges from Michelin-star restaurants to working as a private chef for an international royal family where he met every challenge as an opportunity to deepen and expand his craft. He works alongside his partner in life and business, Alayne MacIsaac, Sheringham's visionary.
