Join your host Clifton Pope as we sit down with Dr. Ladonna Rocha with the Lamp and Leaf Holistic Practices here in Corpus Christi, Texas for part two of our conversation about balancing out conventional medicine and natural medicine !! We dive a bit more into  her practices as a naturopathic physician, a clinical & alchemical herbalist, an aromatherapist, certified phlebotomist, RBTI practitioner, along with  certifications in Auto Immune Protocol coaching and Holistic Cancer Care. We discover why Dr. Rocha has chosen to specialize in one of the most under-served populations in conventional medicine: autoimmune sufferers, particularly those with gut dysbiosis, and thyroid diagnoses.

We also dive into what drives my practice based on filling the gaps in our healthcare system. My time in the conventional medicine system showed me very clearly where the strengths were, but even more clearly where the weaknesses are. Then a new conundrum arose- how can you have conventional medicine and natural medicine?

Most importantly, Dr Rocha explains the importance of the balance and how she  found her place right between conventional medicine and natural medicine based on her  believe that conventional medicine is necessary, and even life-saving in certain circumstances, but also believing that there is so much territory in health realms that can be converted with natural health concepts.

If you thought Pt 1 of our conversation was special, wait until you hear PT 2 of our conversation !!!
