The Traditional Millennial is a podcast hosted by singer/songwriter and Millennial, Brittany Dodson. On The Traditional Millennial, we seek to unearth those challenging yet intriguing questions that Millennials have. We will also tackle those issues that threaten to dissolve the unity of tradition, modernity, and faith. We’re talking to other Millennials, those seasoned, knowledgable saints that have come before us, and those Generation Z individuals who will carry the torch after us. The famous quote by Abraham Joshua Heschel, “words create worlds," is an undeniable, powerful truth. When we circle back to the beginning of time, as we know it, it was words that called everything out of nothing to give us the world we have today. Therefore, not only are words powerful, they are necessary. But what if our need to use certain words muddies the true meaning of those words causing our actions to move towards fantasy and further from purpose? On today's episode, we're discussing one of those words. We're tackling the word "prize" and its implications as it involves women and how this word applies to them.
