4-17-23: Don't hate, innovate
The Tampa Bay Rays kicked off the season with 13 straight wins, which is an astonishing feat but what’s even more amazing is they have one of the lowest payrolls in baseball. They are a team that relied heavily on the shift and analytics to win games and yet they find new ways to innovate every year to be in the mix for the playoffs.
Simply put, the Rays don’t make ANY excuses. They see their challenges as opportunities to be creative and play the game in a way others would never even consider. Their poor stature in the baseball world is actually an asset for how they view the game.
So why not do the same thing in your life? Take your struggles, your lot in life and find ways to innovate that only you can see because of the unique position you are in. The people who have to struggle and be creative are the ones that find lasting success. And not just success, but more importantly, fulfillment.
