articles and interjections about everyday stuff that I come across while doing research for my patients or my Podcast.

Dee Epperson from , the Wardrums of a Makua, which has a lot of different avenues that I want to explore and I want my children and my grandchildren to understand. My culture, our history, what drives the Polynesian personality and ultimately what causes the trends in Polynesian health...I’m a medical scientist first and foremost, so when I ask questions about history or human development I usually find other things while I’m doing my research for the podcast OR something comes up in the middle of my article and it causes me to think about different questions that may not have relevance to the current article I’m writing for “Wardrums”...You know how when you are having a conversation with someone and your on a subject but you think about something else you want to interject? Like...”Did you know...?” That’s why I started doing little things from time to time called...And on a different note. Just things I think about that were spurred by random thoughts as I go through my day or while I’m writing and researching for a patients treatment plan or for “Wardrums” .

I also have little things called “Health-tips”; I’ve been doing these for ages. I had a friend that owned a Jamba-Juice franchise and he use to sponsor my health tips on the radio for years. Some of those health-tips are from those radio commercials...but I’ve also been doing health tips for LifeXtend Unlimited so, those will be added from time to time as well as some infomercials for specials that we are running on LifeX “SweetR” products. LifeX is a health company that is associated with world class athletes and professional Chefs since 2003. Their products have been used in Health Care Facilities around the world for diabetics and health issues and by those company’s that are known for Keto products like Atkins Elegant Desserts and Hanks Cheesecakes, the maker of Fine Cheesecakes. The Number #1 culinary School in the US, The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York with a history since 1946 has also used LifeX SweetR! Products in the Training of Professional Chefs. My dad was a world class athlete and I have many other relatives and close friends that are also professional athletes, coaches, trainers or Professional Certified Executive Chefs, so this is a subject I grew up in and the educational field that I specialize in.

I use to be in the music industry. I started performing when I was 4 on stage and toured all over with our family and then started my solo career when I was about 15. I was writing, composing and performing either solo or with a band. I worked with Steve Nelson of Capital Records...Golden Globe winner - Lex de Azevedo, people like Warren Barigian, Vocal instructor to artists like Kenny Loggins, Bette Midler, Cher, Jackson Browne and a host of others . My career was jump started by Joe Dorton who was the President of Gannett Radio, part of the Gannet Media holdings that owns USA Today. All these people I was introduced to or knew through my Dad who was All American and played football years and years ago with the Butkus Brothers Ron and Dick, Bart Star and my godfather...Ray Nitchke of the Green-bay Packers. For my birthday one year, my dad...who later in his life, certified in Audio Engineering at Bad Animals Studios...bought me a recording studio and had my house remodeled to accommodate the business. I wrote and performed the so called “Definitive Song of Houston” in the 1980’s. I’ve been featured in Magazines like “Houston” and “The Houstonia”. I was nominated for a Grammy by several artists on my albums...engineer and producer, Paul Gilman, Grammy winners The Marshal Tucker Band and Leon Russell, who called me the Polynesian Princess when he addressed me or talked about our project.

Outside of music, I modeled from 1978 – 1983 in Salt Lake City, LA and Houston. I’ve been published on articles about health, nutrition and the gastrointestinal biome over 50,000 times with some of them being international and industry journals. I am a Gastrointestinal Health Therapist and have had a private practice since 1985.

For the “Wardrums of a Makua” the introduction was done by Anthony Copping, who has done documentary's for National Geographic and is very well known for all his work for Binumi and Totem Hybrid. The first Season background drums were done by . Sefa Pumphrey of Sefa Drums out of California. One of the most renowned Polynesian drummers in the world.

Hope you enjoy these little Quips and Commentaries that come from my ADHD brain and thanks for listening!
