He was my classmate. Great parents, great life, great friends, he looked like a guy who had it all. He was my teammate. He was huge, athletic, gifted with the size of a D1 prospect. He looked like a guy that would make a name for himself. But what we didn't know, was what was really happening.
We didn't know the pain. We didn't know the suffering. We didn't know the depression and desperation of a man fighting battles on too many fronts to count. This is the beginning of his story.
