Speaker 3Over days. It was a call or was it messaging?
Speaker 4No, it was a call, a message in English, sleeping like 0.5 of a second.
Speaker 3That's so romantic. You had a nice long call.
Speaker 4Yeah, it was a couple of hours.
Speaker 3Of course you do.
Speaker 4I definitely do.
Speaker 3The fuck you got talking about for hours, dawg Lots of things. Rashad, let's go to work.
Speaker 6Yeah, if you're not talking about serious things, you don't For hours. You remember you couldn't wait to get home after school once.
Speaker 3So you run the phone and call it.
Speaker 4I'm still able to do that, but it is a conversation of substance.
Speaker 3For hours dawg I can do up to three hours.
Speaker 6Yeah, but the phone got cut off after no, two hours and 55 minutes. That's how you used to be back in the day, when you had two hours and 55 minutes. Then the phone got cut off. You got called back.
Speaker 3He was just talking about that the other day. You had to run home and get on.
Speaker 2MSN Update your status.
Speaker 3Let him know you are. You know what I mean Appear offline. I wasn't really popping on MSN.
Speaker 6No, I'm serious. You remember what you know was. Yes, I do, but we don't need to talk about that.
Speaker 2What was it? You were the first no banks 82.
Speaker 6No.
Speaker 4What was?
Speaker 6it.
Speaker 4I tried to remember what it was.
Speaker 6Then I don't remember either.
Speaker 3Mine was sweet.
Speaker 4We're going to find it and make it the episode title Mine was sweet and was for baby and was for K K.
Speaker 2I used my mom's Latanya for life. We'll talk about that. This is the one.
Speaker 6I can tell you, the very first one I made that I made it. I think it was Baby Boy 24-30.
Speaker 2Yes, I remember that I lost that one, and then I had another one.
Speaker 3Why 24-30?
Speaker 6That was the number on my key. I couldn't think of the number. I was just like I'll just throw this one up.
Speaker 3Oh my, Baby Boy 24-30,. Thank you for that. If you haven't done it in a while, get a phone call in. I get a little late night. I think I should not be here to put it on.
Speaker 4No, never.
Speaker 3Falling asleep on the phone. Last we fell asleep on the phone. You not seeing she blocking numbers.
Speaker 4Maybe in April? Oh, that's not so bad. That was this year.
Speaker 2Yeah, when I went to Jamaica. You fell asleep. I'm tired. I am out carnivaling.
Speaker 6You shouldn't be on the phone these should be chilling.
Speaker 3Send another message and hit by the next morning. I fell asleep.
Speaker 4I said that when I don't fall asleep, Damn, I'm going to be here.
Speaker 3You hear that. Let's get into it. I'm a big, I play host. Shout out to Chris. Chris is in here with us, so we're going to have a little wine In honor of Chris. Let's get into it. How was the week? I guess Chris Brown. What's up, chris. How are you? You through, the bra or no?
Speaker 2What? She didn't wear a bra. No, she was like I'm going to be at the concert of the week with Chris Brown. I've been working on a part of it. You've been with Chris Brown. He was in the concert and it was just amazing.
Speaker 4I was so salty Really. I love Chris Brown Like obsessed and I was really upset that I found out that he was going there like after.
Speaker 2I already planned a million other trips. You must cancel your plans. Breezy bleh 24 hours I had everything. I just made my you know my contribution because you know you guys are group driving, different one oh.
Speaker 3No, she had that covered.
Speaker 6I never miss a thing.
Speaker 2Yeah, and it was really Chris Brown and friends, because, like he's, he brought out a lot of the local artists as well too, like Even within his performance. Like he brought out valiant in the middle, that was his real friends.
Speaker 6I think of friends.
Speaker 2Business only make sense to highlight Jamaica. You're in Jamaica so highlight.
Speaker 6No, I get it and I completely agree, but brings my real friends.
Speaker 2He did.
Speaker 6I. She's from John, so I don't even come out Safari to her.
Speaker 2Safari came out during. But you see, it's awesome link to Jamaica, guys relax where's the girl?
Speaker 6I said, they either like groceries, bring her.
Speaker 2She just had a baby.
Speaker 6I don't know that, because I don't care.
Speaker 2I'm just saying bring well then, don't be complaining. I like the fact that they highlighted Jamaican talent because that's what it's about. We're at their national stadium. They probably made history up in there was. So part bro, like you check around, all you see are like phone lights.
Speaker 6It was amazing like one of his friends wouldn't.
Speaker 2Which friend, which friend you had one in break any friend?
Speaker 6I pretty sure if you booked DJ Khaled, he come in with a bunch of friends. Yeah, yeah, but you just but.
Speaker 2DJ Khaled have to do that. What does he have in his? No, I did, and that's a feature. God, all of them are features. If it wasn't for him, it would it, would it be? Started. That is not music.
Speaker 6Next Khaled did Chris.
Speaker 2Brown even had a catalog. He started singing songs and put in the years I was like you, go boy. He was singing to me too, and I know what happened after I was. He's also salty big, anyway.
Speaker 6No, he doesn't be making up shit, like Chris Brown be making up shit and just because he can down to be like yo Don't talk about, it's a performer.
Speaker 2No, he's a performer come with his energy and like there's a heat. No, my my, he is the stage presence, the views, like the visuals, everything Don't know better dancing in crystal. No, ding dog had a great performance. I love it. Oh, my goodness, there's. That was Chris Brown with his flag and say of course listen. I can't tell you an air what Chris Brown did for me.
Speaker 3Did you?
Speaker 2say that yeah. He just think, run it, whatever can run it, run it and then I don't, yeah, came up with his wife as well to announce that they were Her, because she walked across me and she was like why am I caught up? Mini himself, I'm, yeah, come on. Okay, did you hear that no right.
Speaker 3Anyway, I was an AC man, I was in my bed rough.
Speaker 2To be honest, like our Housing was literally across the street, so like we walked across the street and it's like not even five minutes, like we were in the garden, perfectly placed. How's your mobile?
Speaker 4Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. We were thinking about staying there this week.
Speaker 2They're actually really good. Yeah, it's all right, she really salty for true.
Speaker 4Oh no. He's a different, like this in the park if you, if you know me, you know how much I love Chris Brown, so I really hurt my feelings.
Speaker 6But anyway, I will got to see him. There's only one concert that happened in jump that I that I say, wish I went and I went the budget the budget, mm-hmm That'll.
Speaker 2I wasn't paying attention to entertainment you know performance.
Speaker 3You know one song he don't perform, the more so we don't.
Speaker 6Oh yeah, which I yeah yeah, but I'm DJ, so they still play. I would just go say side note like they.
Speaker 2I heard that song the entire weekend. No boss like. And they not chopping, mincing words, they are playing it word for word.
Speaker 3I couldn't be an artist nowadays because I would be upset, like even just think about like I guess let's say so can music, for example, every time you go to a spot and they play a set of, so come you gonna hear certain Songs you know right off the bat and I want it on patrice Robert splash and that's a preppy. I'm like fun, I did not get paid off for this one. Like, just Don't hurt me, I want my check, bro, every time you play that. Well, why didn't I get?
Speaker 2MP.
Speaker 3Then I get paid off from from that type of play homes if it was, I got a streaming. Yeah, maybe a stream, and even a stream is you can point zero, zero, zero, three cents or whatever. But yeah, you go to any bar on a Friday came on Saturday night. These are got a certain line up, certain set. Mmm, but I do appreciate where it does to the crowd. Um, it's gonna into it case. I'm here in case. Kayla is salty, did you good? Ferrari lost again Chris's and.
Speaker 2Looks could kill you, just know you.
Speaker 3Um, what's up? Cable size being tired. How are you? What's up? I'm good.
Speaker 4I'm good. I've been really busy with work going away this weekend, oh so I'm looking forward to getting off the island.
Speaker 3Take a little break. I thought it up going to Jamaica. I thought it up Okay, see you Going tonight carnival actually.
Speaker 4I'm really excited.
Speaker 3Yes, man, I really yes. How the um, how the boy, back to school.
Speaker 4He's good.
Speaker 3He's good, he loves it. He loves it. He was a girlfriend or not.
Speaker 2No, that I'm aware of Smarty, only like five days.
Speaker 3That's what's been with third relationship right now. Bro, you know I didn't get them walking for early. It didn't work out, so I don't know what's next.
Speaker 4I just happened a little Little taught Diana she's gonna.
Speaker 6Clifton, I'm okay with that.
Speaker 2I can't wait until your little boy is in high school.
Speaker 4But yeah, he's doing good. I got, I got give a shout out to John Green. They've been very organized and things are going really great so far. On the new school that we are finally in is really nice. Oh, yeah, it's nice. Yeah, it's really really nice. So.
Speaker 2Removies was experienced on the bright side, our kids are.
Speaker 4You know, supposing I don't get it they sat down in the old John Green hall in true tell our whole class that now, where we graduate in same Well, they're just spending next year 15 years since you graduate it's not gonna kill you in the future period.
Speaker 3It was no more.
Speaker 4No, but it was you guys. No, it was this big, big presentation to our class. You guys are the biggest class that has been a part of John Gray since Inception, and so you will have the privilege.
Speaker 3That's all I got like to it was.
Speaker 6Graduating yeah, no, but no at the time. At the time, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4You'll have the privilege of graduating from this brand new school. One, one big something, you know. I don't remember who it was, who did the presentation, I don't even know I feel like well. No we had a different presentation from dawn. See more to remember that.
Speaker 6Oh, I don't know if Kisha know that when you're 11, such a weird it a weird like thing to be in, cuz you're not a new people and then you're not.
Speaker 2I don't know.
Speaker 6No, I talking about when we're near 12 kisha's and they're 11, so kisha would be no.
Speaker 2When you You're 10, oh, you are super loser.
Speaker 6You're new.
Speaker 4Wow.
Speaker 6I train, train fire to hang out. Can't see. Can't see in certain places.
Speaker 2You know me a while I have bad girl, I gotta go anywhere and sit out anywhere.
Speaker 6Where are you remember she couldn't go sit by the cistern Sometimes on the block, on the block on the.
Speaker 2Talk to me. Nice. I am a person you wish you could be me.
Speaker 6But I hung up with Kaila them too. So I guess everybody here, you I hung up with everybody.
Speaker 3Yeah, you did it once, so you crying you.
Speaker 6Bro, I, I hung out everybody like I didn't have one hangout in school. I was in all over the world.
Speaker 2I couldn't keep still. Yeah, I would just go say you couldn't keep still. And then when my brother came, then we had the Fern block.
Speaker 6I had a lot of people go.
Speaker 4Yes, of course that wasn't somewhere near Spanish, yeah.
Speaker 2I know, I know where James was.
Speaker 6They're on the corner. Oh, no, you remember. No, it would be DC.
Speaker 3Congratulations to Miss K-Mon universe.
Speaker 2Yes, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3Yeah, I want some type of structure, get walking through it real quick.
Speaker 2Let me tell you, I went, I attended. It was really good like that my first time in years. So they had it at the Westin. I appreciated that it was air conditioned for sure.
Speaker 3They left the lion's on the bro.
Speaker 2It's like a nice and intimate like not too much people, like you know it's enough see-in, like they even have monitors so, like you know, you can see and whatever. This show kind of like not kind of it did go without a hitch. I don't know if you watched it live or so, but like it it went really well. Like from the presenters to box stage and like, cuz they did a little toggle between them, cuz the presenters were Mariah and Caitlin, pass, okay, miss Universe came on and then behind the scenes they had Donna Bush and Miss Dairy. Yeah, sometimes they would go to some of the contestants.
Speaker 1No, I didn't see. She didn't do it this year, okay.
Speaker 2Um, but yeah, like it, it was really good.
Speaker 4First time in a long time I've heard more positive than negative feedback. It was a good show. You know that's a quick switch and I think we have to commend them for that, because there's been a lot of drama in the last year and To do so much that they've done in the last few months like there's things that you can talk about that still need improvement but to see that they were able to I heard the runs of show was Better time than compared to how it usually is. They actually followed more of an international format because I saw that they did pre-limbs during the day.
Speaker 4That's something we never did, but that's what you do internationally, so that's good prep for the girls. So, like I heard it was, I heard it was really really well. So I'm happy to hear that and I think they will be represented Well yeah, they even did like a newer word as well.
Speaker 2Um, like at the show itself. You got to pick. I can't remember, like people's choice.
Speaker 1No, they're crowd favorite and, of course, like they did like a practice test and like. I mean listen, you know like it was just a practice.
Speaker 2So, of course, when the real round came around like they couldn't even get them to stop I was like, yeah, like well deserved. Like for me, the top three, that place, like from the time I watched it I was like those are the three. Like I'm a pageant girlie, we are pageant girlies. So from the minute I walked in I was like those three, they are top three, this one going win this first round right away.
Speaker 2Oh sure, of course we know. Our winner is Ms Ilyan Parry, from West Bay. From West Bay. Yeah, our first runner up is Ms Sidani Barrett and our second runner up is Ms Tracy. I can't recall her last name right now, but she's from Bonnetown.
Speaker 4Is she a?
Speaker 2Wattler? No, I can't recall right now, but yeah, I just remember her name is Tracy. She has such a nice personality, like I got that from her stage presence and she was so fun and, you know, so confident. Like you can see she's young, but like she give her a few more years.
Speaker 6I need somebody to watch. I need an edit point. Okay, now you can continue.
Speaker 4You know where I'm not editing that out. No, no you have to.
Speaker 2You can watch Like sometimes you can look at the pageants and see who are fillers, like they need somebody to run the show. That's so terrible.
Speaker 2Who you talking about what is true Was needed to run the show. There was only three people, as a matter of fact, two. There was only two people from the beginning of the show that was going to win. That was very strong, Like yeah, yeah. The third one were like oh, let me. And the only reason I could place the third one was because I could watch her. Now, Like I've seen other stuff, I'm like I won't see what she about on the stage and when I see her come out and she doing her thing, I'm like yeah, so top three, so judgmental.
Speaker 2Not judgmental.
Speaker 4Like you, just have to be a part of our world to get it. To understand it. I think.
Speaker 3I like seeing you hyped, though. I mean, I feel like we finally found Keisha a little sweet spot when she are missing her first correspondence.
Speaker 6They need to link me to be a judge.
Speaker 2Me too. I was saying that they should link me to be a judge. I am a pageant girlie. Do you have pageant ties? No, I'm first runner up, Miss Teen 2010. Talk to me nice Ain't the books. Get out the path. I ain't the book.
Speaker 6I ain't the book we in 2020.
Speaker 4Tell them again we in 2020.
Speaker 6Miss Teen 2010.
Speaker 3Miss Teen.
Speaker 2Right On People's Choice Award. Don't you ever forget number seven, miss Teen 2010.
Speaker 5Miss T-V-A-A-A, let me know, listen I would follow the archive.
Speaker 2I would clean it up. My awards were from Miss. Teen and Keita. I was like why'd you get all?
Speaker 4that, for I was like you little shit Damn. He a-ated too. You know why he's hating so much? No, because I don't compete in sports right. So to him, the only thing he associates awards with is sports or like shut up. But all of my awards are like educational or Miss Teen. Oh, nerd, you're a nerd Nerd.
Speaker 3Richie, I really do hang out with the nerds.
Speaker 2My mom is literally still have my merits from John Gray framed Like. When you walk in her house you see them all over the house.
Speaker 3Tell your mom to take those down.
Speaker 6No, I am a greatness. I can't wait for my house. I'm going to draw on Gray topic and look, we're right, right there.
Speaker 3Miss Teen, tell me tell me, but no, I think to just kind of speak on Rashad's point there is-.
Speaker 6I didn't have a point. Yes, you did. We're not going to hear it.
Speaker 4You did have a point in relation to girls that are typically Shut up.
Beauty Pageants and Pageant Preparation Discussion
Speaker 4Rashad, there's a point. There's a point based on something Rashad said and Keisha said with Paget Fillers, and this is not necessarily directed at any one individual this year, but there are always years in pageants, whether it's here, internationally, you'll have those visually pageant princess girls that you expect they're going to win because they're so gorgeous and, oh my God, you're so beautiful and you can't look past anything beyond their beauty. A lot of those girls actually lack a lot of confidence when it comes to actually being in front of a judging panel, when it comes to doing interview questions, when it comes to stage presence. So it's like beauty is not the only thing, it's not the only thing. Not for me, it's okay, it's okay no, not for Le Dant. It's just like it is not easy to get an up on stage in front of people Of course not.
Speaker 4Like that. It's just not like I would never going into Miss Teen and I feel like when we talk about pageants on the pod every year because we've discussed it definitely a lot. You're a fuller drama.
Speaker 4But when we talk about it, I always talk about the fact that that was a realization for me, that I would never want to be in that type of situation again, like I was so sure I was going to go into. Miss K-Man and Rashad sister actually was who had to call me down before I had went on stage for my talent because I started like crying and hyperventilating. I was so nervous, oh Should have called me.
Speaker 2I cried after my point of mind, like if you listen to the DVD, you can hear me like start to cry out, start to how you play one of them the DVD.
Speaker 6Oh, you know how to play one of these.
Speaker 4That can't it. No, it's not.
Speaker 6I want to take this DVD that another same thing?
Speaker 4Yeah, it is.
Speaker 2Don't act like you don't know, do, let me scandal you Fun 2010 I was paying attention to Miss T. I'm scandal you.
Speaker 3But I support you, I'm happy for you.
Speaker 6I used to just go up there because and start up in a bot with a big T T say, that was just this thing, that was the event that was the event. That was the event. I don't feel the bot anymore.
Speaker 4I think, for your year award yellow. I actually feel like I remember that. Yeah For your year.
Speaker 3Yeah, we all were there, I used to feel a lot of people at Lions Center for all those years, miss T and also Miss K-Man. And when it didn't run on time. You used to watch on social media and it'd be like 11, 12 o'clock People still didn't know and for my year they actually had to go longer.
Speaker 2We had to get another question because there was a tie, but like it was longer, like this show got dropped out longer.
Speaker 4Yeah, my group was small, I think it was just five of us. It was eight of us.
Speaker 3I wanted to say that too. I do like on social media when there's an event for guys there may be football, basketball, playoffs or whatever and everybody's talking about that and the girls are upset.
Speaker 3And then these things happen Now, like Miss World, miss Universal, whatever the girls are typing in text and messaging or whatever, and they're excited. They're excited and that's always kind of cool to see the ties kind of change a little bit. And I'm going to say I noticed that too. Right off the bat it didn't seem like this year there was a lot of heat, there was a lot of.
Speaker 4A lot more support.
Speaker 3It was a lot more support. I don't know, maybe they scared the West Bay gang, I mean she.
Speaker 2No, like she did some good representation, I don't have a good one For me.
Speaker 6There's there's that. There was definitely some heat that I saw. Yeah, but that wasn't that wasn't it, but that was more so it was no, no, no, not not that one, it was, it was one.
Speaker 2So there was one on.
Speaker 6Facebook. Oh, I didn't see which was definite, definite heat. It said something along the lines of I know what you're talking about, I thought came on wanted to bring home the ground.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 6So I think that's. That's just what was.
Speaker 4Oh I never saw that yeah, one girl. But I thought the responses were actually really good, responses that people checked her in the right kind of way, yeah, and she actually was rooting for one of the girls that placed, so it was also kind of like she's still placed.
Speaker 3So in that sense it sounded as if you were upset.
Speaker 4Your person didn't win that that in that particular case.
Speaker 3A genuine gripe about the overall project.
Speaker 6Yeah.
Speaker 3And women in the background and whatnot. So that's what I'm saying when I feel as if this time it felt as if there was no real yeah, I'm also not tearing apart, like yeah. It feels devices rigged. I was kind of cool that the women have their moment. I mean shout out to Ms Pauvery congratulations.
Speaker 4I'm very excited to see what you mean. Me too. I can't wait.
Speaker 3Wish them. Well, you know what I mean. Stay out of this.
Speaker 4Miss Universe is probably in December. It's typically the end of the year, which is why our pageant had to take place so quickly, because they're away for like almost six weeks.
Speaker 3Someone said that too, like it kind of just crapped up on them. This was very short.
Speaker 4I think they struggled to get girls, girls, yeah, so they didn't have a lot of prep time. I wonder why.
Speaker 3Well, I'll take your point. I mean, it's not something I would run and say yo to my girl, go ahead and jump and do this.
Speaker 4They might redeem themselves moving forward, because I think you can move past it yeah. Like I think they can start to.
Speaker 2And then in the new committee only just form in April or May.
Speaker 4They took about a year between yeah, it took a while. Whatever court cases and my road drama and everything else that were going on in between, I guess people reluctantly wanted to step down, like it was just so much drama associated with that. So essentially they got all the lot together in less than three months. Three months, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3Oh, real quick. Speaking of John Gray.
Speaker 4Got them kids from school buses.
Speaker 3Shout out to Bob Barker.
Speaker 4Who that is. Is that the person that got a job to teach women somewhere? Who is the guy that I saw recently?
Speaker 3You don't know who Bob Barker is.
Speaker 2Is it the guy that used to be on a morning show? When you spin the wheel Morning?
Speaker 3show you spin the wheel.
Speaker 4Bob Barker.
Speaker 3Bob Barker.
Speaker 4Barker.
Speaker 3Yeah, like Lloyd Barker.
Speaker 2Is it Travis Barker's dad?
Speaker 3No, it's the person's right. Yeah, I was right.
Speaker 4That's not his. I thought it was his last. He was Parker, no.
Speaker 2Barker no.
Speaker 4Barker, Barker. All these years I thought it was Parker. That's why I was like who are you talking about?
Speaker 3No shout out to the OG man you mentioned.
Speaker 4That he passed me in my granny friend. He dropped out, he dropped out.
Speaker 3Yo, I'm so numb, I'm sure.
Speaker 4My granny friend.
Speaker 3yo I have a group chat with some guys and whenever someone passes they say that they say yo, it's not, so drop out. I'm like can you not say drop out, because I can't?
Speaker 2say that other word, they make it to Morbid D-I-E, D-E-A-D.
Speaker 3You can say drop out, drop out, you just drop out. Yeah, but I just want to stand up and all of a sudden, you just drop out?
Speaker 4That might think. I like I think in a pass.
Speaker 2Right, exactly, it don't make it so, you know. So, punchy, like you just think oh my God, he's not so peaceful, he was.
Speaker 4Barker. All these years I thought it was Barker who is a talk show host. Is there anybody with the last name Barker Pretty?
Speaker 2sure they are, kayla. We can't think of them right now, but not.
Speaker 3If you ever had a sick day from school, you definitely probably had to go by someone else a grandmother house.
Speaker 6Mm-hmm, yeah, the stories for one. What a time.
Speaker 3How to watch stories. How to watch prices right.
Speaker 4These are our lives young and restless. What is your name is?
Speaker 2I think, prices.
Speaker 6Right is what causes me when I go in the supermarket. I will pick up stuff. Pouchings. Yes. In the cart and I will tally it in my head before I get to the checkout to just see how close I am, and I always win.
Speaker 2Yeah, me too, I want to do a supermarket war you always win.
Speaker 6Why I just can't?
Speaker 2win. I am a winner. He didn't know the great. You forget the Keisha.
Speaker 6The great.
Speaker 4All right, all right I want someone to close down the supermarket, and we do like a shopping, a shopping war.
Speaker 2Oh, my God, I would love to do that.
Speaker 4Like a little game show thing. Yeah, good luck.
Speaker 7Like you don't have to take it home.
Speaker 4You know, it's just like it would be fun to do it.
Speaker 6I mean good luck getting a supermarket to close Well on a Sunday.
Speaker 2So you could always get them on a Sunday. I was like a fundraising initiative or something what the Ross?
Speaker 4A fun, a fundraising initiative. So her reflection and jump. No, I saw something blinking. Yeah, all right, go ahead. And it wasn't you.
Speaker 6That was, that was All right, all right, that wasn't it. That wasn't even that. No, that was all right. No, it wasn't. That wasn't even that Got it.
Speaker 3Because your response admitted I. Yeah, exactly I saw you going? Towards the mic.
Speaker 4Yeah, that was, but yeah, like I feel like that would be a cool fundraising initiative to do, like you know, and then, however many things you end up getting and getting it right, then that amount goes towards the charity of your choice, friend of body listening.
Speaker 3Donate it or do something with it.
Speaker 4Yeah, like friend of body listening.
Speaker 3Because I can just see which I'd run on the aisle.
Speaker 4Yeah, you know much.
Speaker 3Bananas or something. Listen, put me in hurlies. Yeah, put them back in the shelf.
Speaker 4Put me in hurlies.
Speaker 6I'm not winning that shit. Kind of where everything is Not in this new hurlies.
Speaker 4I know where it is already. No, they change all the aisles and stuff.
Speaker 2Yeah, but I go.
Speaker 6Chips is in like aisle eight. But then you go in your tri-fine rich crackers all the way in aisle fucking tree. They supposed to be on the same fucking aisle.
Speaker 5They fall under the same shit. Yeah, they cracker snacks and chips.
Speaker 6I agree, you walk down further the chips. Are you got fucking cleaning products down the end.
Speaker 3No, yeah, you're gonna see them out of the chips, read dude, read dude.
Speaker 2No, they need to read it, I agree.
Speaker 4The only thing I don't like is that they have candies in two spots. Yeah, like that. No like that, Catch me twice.
Speaker 2You know I walk the whole supermarket looking for batteries, the batteries at customer service. What?
Speaker 6kind of batteries in the kitchen. Oh and double A Excuse. Yeah, no for true.
Speaker 2Double A, double A for my label maker, because my son is in school. Oh, that's for the label maker, right?
Speaker 6that's all. I went there to the. I try to find garbage bags in there.
Speaker 4They're right there, closer to the front.
Speaker 6I go there by the eggs and things. What?
Speaker 4are you doing down by the eggs? Because, I'm looking everywhere, the aisle right next to the drinks, like golden aisle over, oh you went a little bit too far.
Speaker 2Yeah, and he come back.
Speaker 6one no, but it and then it's all done. Now I gotta walk way up All the way, fucking down by there.
Speaker 2They extended the aisle. They want you to see other things you forgot about. Maybe fill up the shelf cut air time and walk across the shelf Empty.
Speaker 4Hurleys pick out yourself, because I am happy for more stuff, no cheez-its for weeks.
Speaker 2See, I love the only one that I own.
Speaker 6I say that, but I love hurleys. That'll only school work.
Speaker 4Granted Kirk's, I will. I go hurleys almost every day. Really, man there's big hurleys.
Speaker 3ask them, rizal and he signed up.
Speaker 2remind me, guys the lawyer Girl.
Speaker 4You know how much ties I get 10 dollars off my groceries. What?
Speaker 6I just began out to my parents.
Speaker 4You just no, I need it I just give them their number and then you can see your receipt electronically if you ever need to go back Back, okay.
Speaker 2I have a bit of a curse by knowing that.
Speaker 3See that damage.
Speaker 4I don't go hurt someone boy.
Speaker 3Oh, real quick, real quick, 76 AC units stolen.
Speaker 2From where? From where?
Speaker 3They hit the warehouse. Bro, hit the truck, hit the oh, hit the door. I mean in hot, when I come from. We call that a lick what kind of what kind? Of izzies Like window units, the little units you put up in the arm.
Speaker 2The little white one. You put them in the arm Inside In K-Mine.
Speaker 3Yeah, K-Mine.
Speaker 2Where. I can't tell you where it was in my 70s.
Speaker 3Was this on the news?
Speaker 676,? Yeah, it was no, but come on, all the people have to do just wait. They have to sell them somewhere. Oh yeah, check EK. And a couple of weeks later, just check EK and you won't see them up there.
Speaker 4When they come to service in Omnom.
Speaker 6Facebook marketplace Like. Just check there. You will see somebody trying to sell them. To be fair, though Well like.
Speaker 3Get hot as f***ing out we steal an AC too, Bro all the but 76, though that's a common word.
Speaker 6No, that's a lot, Bro, they more than like they have those serial numbers.
Speaker 4Those kind of things.
Speaker 6Nina kills it.
Speaker 2No, that sounds like they're going to one of them, construction development. They're going to sell them. They're not going to sell them.
Speaker 3No, I was going to say you got to. If you know market looking for one, you got to be like I can get you one and that's all. It is None of them. Al Thompson receipt None of them.
Speaker 2Al Thompson receipt yeah, so that date Shhh.
Speaker 3That's on D-E-D. So they ask if anybody see anything here or anything, but I don't know. 76, that's a.
Speaker 4Pussy shit, Bro.
Speaker 3that's like Italian draw, that's one in movies or something like that?
Speaker 4Oh my God, watch that.
Speaker 6D-E-D, and then he sees go for a home watch. How much do you think one of them cost?
Speaker 4They're like between the start, and cost for them are between 1500 and 1700. I priced them out a couple of months ago.
Speaker 3The little single. You know what I mean.
Speaker 4The white, the white low ones, the white low ones, yeah.
Speaker 6So about that easy they probably got like 130.
Speaker 3I don't know because they said that the things was worth it didn't. I don't see any, so I'm wondering if they got them real. It was a lot more Real, cheap. Nah, it was cheap.
Speaker 2Maybe they got them on a wholesale price because there's 75 of them.
Speaker 3Yeah, but it also reminded me how Bobby be marking up shit here too.
Speaker 2You need to be reminded.
Speaker 6They probably get like 250.
Speaker 2Edit point. Edit point no.
Speaker 3I'm not editing point. Nothing, no more, just saving your checks. Well, fine.
Speaker 2Places like BabyShot mark up shit to 300%, like that is crazy. They got to give you a lot, though. That's why.
Speaker 3You have no other choice.
Speaker 2No, by and less I'll go to Amazon first. I'll sit down and wait and pay customs to all our shit.
Speaker 4So Amazon, I go in.
Speaker 2Godfors, you forget about.
Speaker 6Short baby express.
Speaker 2No, I do. I do go to baby's express.
Speaker 4I love me some. Godfors, the guy I think you need up in there.
Speaker 3Godfors, godfors, we needed a dress shirt that was back in the church, yeah.
Speaker 6And you got your first job interview.
Speaker 3You know what I mean.
Speaker 4Ask your shot. If I can send him a photo of a really nice button down from up inside, up in there, yeah, no, they got some nice ones. I tell you and the price, good, can you wash it though? And the quality? No, the quality of their stuff.
Speaker 6Good, yeah, yeah, what the fuck around? They can't wash it.
Speaker 4And so my ladies that need good quality bras. I was just gonna say Godfors has the best selection, in my opinion, for affordable price.
Speaker 6Ranking two At a point.
Speaker 3Y'all just making more work for these, bro. No, I'm sorry. Oh my God.
Speaker 6I can't be saying these type of stuff. We leave nothing, we leave nothing, oh wow, oh wow, no, no, no, no, yeah man, yeah man, leave that one. Why no, leave that one, that one, that one.
Speaker 3You can be the leader. Real quick, real quick, nah, bro. Thanks for the headphones. Sorry, it's better to plan. Yeah, wait a minute. When I say 30000, you are telling me, kisha, what's up with you. I mean, like, besides traveling the world, like oh, that's what's up with me right now. Traveling the world. Yeah, getting flowed out.
Speaker 2Yeah, fluid out.
Speaker 3Double A butters Carabiner playing trap music. I saw that on the on why that vex me. Why that vex you for.
Speaker 4Why? Because I don't. I feel the trap music does not need to be an incredible setting.
Speaker 6It wasn't a trap music, it was sexy red.
Speaker 4And what she is. That's all I got to say. Yeah, head to toe.
Speaker 6Yeah, she heard the one, she heard the one.
Speaker 2Boy can't stand her. She not giving us a good name what they're talking about. She had all these STDs in.
Speaker 6There's a classic.
Speaker 4Jesus Christ, oh, I dropped that one at elevator, not elevator. Oh, sing, you don't want to hear that. No, you cue it. Pound town. I wish I'd love this song.
Speaker 6No, I don't. The beat hard, the beat hard. I'm out of town Dugging with my round.
Speaker 2My question. Hey, look at that.
Speaker 6That is the dumbest light of the song ever.
Speaker 3But it is just so funny. She don't want to suck it, suck it. I like that one. No, that one hard. I be in the car listening to it. No, it's not hard. I mean, she's a perky.
Speaker 2I mean, I get it Like that whole ratchet shit, but like maybe just a little bit too cat out, Just a little bit.
Speaker 4Trap music does not belong in Carnival. I will take dance hall, I will take off the beats, but leave that shit out of Carnival.
Speaker 6We can't be doing that.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 4I thought I'm not a soka advocate.
Speaker 3but yeah, you can, You're watering down the culture.
Speaker 4There's so many other times that kind of music literally like there's a hundred other options that music can be playing the DJ the feeling it's trying to say.
Speaker 3Like you know, basically we have a lot of different people out there, so you have to try to.
Speaker 4Yeah, but you are a carnival thing, fuck off.
Speaker 6Yeah, true thing, why I anyway I play for.
Speaker 4No Rashad, no Rashad. You gotta try, Don't be justified foolishness.
Speaker 6You gotta try. It's terrible to granted if, if that's their culture, that like, if you go to let's say where she from to try have Carnival, you have to include some of their cultural music, what they listen to.
Speaker 2But no, I do not agree, because that's the whole point of Carnival culture. So I'm using it to hear, but that is a part of our culture, but how we?
Speaker 6don't know. No, no, no, just because.
Speaker 2Just because they said the pineapple in our flag don't mean that inch.
Cultural Appropriation in Carnival Music
Speaker 6I get it, I get it. No problem, I get it, so I get it, I get it the pineapple represents our times with Jamaica, with the very said. If you take in, if you take in Carnival to someplace else, where it's not that like taking Carnival to fucking Panama and say we now go play, no fucking Spanish music.
Speaker 4But that is actually a part of Spanish. Music is a subsection of genres that would combine with so great Philippe. So music, that's not what I'm talking about.
Speaker 6I'm just talking about going Fucking far yes, but if you go into some no, no, no, If you go into their place. You have to meet the people that come out.
Speaker 7No, feel a little bit of welcome, even if it's just a five minutes even if it's just 10 minutes, even if it's just a one verse of the song. Yeah, but then here where you say nobody not bringing Carnival nowhere.
Speaker 2Carnival is within the Caribbean countries, because it's our culture. Nobody not getting up and going to America in a Carnival yeah, but there's carnival in Boston there's carnival all over.
Speaker 6Yeah, but those are not authentic Carnival.
Speaker 2So if they won't play trippy, red sexy red, whatever, but that's what we're talking about. No, but that's their culture. They could play that shit over there, not here.
Speaker 6We're not Americans, they're not doing it here.
Speaker 2Great, let's continue that.
Speaker 6But Vic said we talking about them playing Carnival in Canada.
Speaker 2And they shouldn't have played it. They shouldn't have played it because it's about Carnival and culture.
Speaker 3But that might be a part of the culture, but trap music is not the root of where Soka and Alla comes from.
Speaker 2A lot of things not a root, it's just a trend.
Speaker 3Yeah, but I'm in the fucking plate, I'm in the spot. No, I'm in the 30 minute Afro beat set. You see, it is not all right.
Speaker 6Because? It is because if you go about the line, yeah, but if you go back to the root of the, rhythm.
Speaker 2then what doing slave days, we out there on the plantation?
Speaker 1We have to sing to get through that. What are they doing? They're doing slavery.
Speaker 2Their music is art, I'm telling you. Singing about scamming is art? Is art that they are? That a life? What do you want me?
Speaker 6to do, stop it. What do you want me to do?
Speaker 2That is their life. That is their art. That's how they express in themselves.
Speaker 3Yeah but that mean art.
Speaker 6I can take this bottle of wine and bust it on the wall right now. That is art, boo, that madness, you see that no. I guarantee you.
Speaker 3But if Chris Brown brought it on stage in Jamaica, it would be part of the trap.
Speaker 2But see even Chris Brown mixed it up. He tried to do not try. He did a remix with Byron Messias, your culture.
Speaker 3Volta. Wait, hold on again. You just catch it at a little height.
Speaker 2I can't remember yeah, Taliban Trap music does not belong in Carnival I started with Kayla Tala Manke play at Carnival no.
Speaker 6Yeah, going little vibe If you go to, if you go to if Carnival is somewhere else place and their culture is XYZ, you include some of that and you play some of their shit. Let me tell you something?
Speaker 4Carnival does not come from their culture. That's what I'm trying to say Do not take, do not take what comes from us and decide that you all water it down by playing your fucker music, but then don't take it there then but that's my thing.
Speaker 6Respect the culture, then just don't take it there. I didn't take fucking Carabata there, no, but so that's what I'm saying Don't take it out there, but then isn't there a big population of the Caribbean in Canada, which is why they have a carnival.
Speaker 2But there is a big population, so they're trying to cater to that sector of principle. They're a big population of everybody.
Speaker 6Canada's a melting pot. Like Canada, has tons of people from everywhere. You can't just play it out, so you can play Afro beats in Carnival, but that's fine because we like to forget it Again, because it is linked to the music.
Speaker 3It is all the same line. So you find the Afro beats playing at Carabata.
Speaker 2Yes, it's Afro beats, reggae and so-called all fall in the same thing.
Speaker 5All you have to do is speed up. I'm not saying you're the last, last one.
Speaker 3All you have to do is speed it up. Last last, here you go. Good, you can speed up the tempo, and that you even know that last last you listened to they can speed up town sounds. No, thanks, they can speed up town sounds. No, it's not the same.
Speaker 4It's not the same music and you know what? You know what is so wild? Every video playing that fucking trap music. Everybody was standing up, so they also played that fucker in. Nobody even had it. So what was the point?
Speaker 6No, because the camera could only catch so much people Brishad.
Speaker 4I saw a million videos.
Speaker 2What happened to the people behind that. You caught the point. You caught the point. Nobody now going crazy to Pound Town. You know that.
Speaker 3That's special effects, you don't know.
Speaker 6Oh, my God Anyway what's next Based on Carnival and some of the people I saw in Carnival this year Pound Town I play on the road People would have been fucking dancing. I guarantee you that first truck, that first truck, the kids they would have been, yeah, they would have been Granted. We won't ever do that shit. But you feel me, you know, if you take Carnival somewhere you have to expect Some DJs are going to bring certain cultures, especially people like DJs who's up, big Chicks, big Chicks.
Speaker 3They're not. This are banger. Nah, get out of here, kids. You know that. One See what's up. Yeah, I want her to add nightcarval. No, no, you want her.
Speaker 2You must have won Kayla show this mic at me. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, Actually no.
Speaker 6Actually, I would tell the DJ, he could tease it. Yeah, he could tease it for like 15, 20 seconds, but don't actually play the song. Just tease it make people do the ski and then just move.
Speaker 4Yeah, you don't have a whole set of fuckers.
Speaker 3Yeah, I think that was about to trap. I don't know if it was about to trap music. But if they play one song or they play like the clip of it, I don't have a problem with that. But yeah, I don't try to handle 15, 20 minutes segment of it. And I don't think the DJ did that. I'm not saying I'm not, I'm not, I have no idea what he did, but I say it was a girl it was a girl. Oh, yes, it was, but something small, bro.
Speaker 6It doesn't gotta be five minutes. You can do two minutes and run through like four or five different songs.
Speaker 4Well, that's very different from what you were saying in the beginning, right?
Speaker 3New? Was you the chant still talk? Yeah, but no.
Speaker 4Kayla.
Speaker 7I didn't, I dare to say you and Keisha were talking.
Speaker 4Uh-uh, hear me. Nikisha, Two minutes is still playing. You sure want to talk to him.
Speaker 6I wasn't even talking to him, two minutes is still playing their cultural music. You just include in them and that's all I say. You should include other demograph.
Speaker 3Okay, yeah, I take your point, because we walked the other night and it was a predominantly crowded looks like us and there were three persons of a different background and the DJ.
Speaker 2Contacts would be great. It's the political correct I was going to say it, with the Caucasian. Yeah, well, yeah, that is correct.
Speaker 3Nah and the DJ went to them for like a song and a half.
Speaker 2They wasn't going to get it from me? Yeah, but it was Nah.
Speaker 3They didn't stay in the sport buying alcohol. They chillin'. They buy it off. Yeah, but you should know where you're coming.
Speaker 2No, but you should know where you're coming. I'm not going to stop the flow of what I have going on to cater to three out of the hundred.
Speaker 6Nah, Keisha, Keisha. It depends it first, it depends on the. I said a song and a half Keisha.
Speaker 3They can't get, they can't get four minutes. So hold on, hold on, hold on. Go somewhere else, go to the bathroom, go to get up.
Speaker 6See the example here, go somewhere else. Majority of on-screen events.
Speaker 2Because that kills the know, that kills my vibe, because now I up there, keeley, keeley and you going with vanilla ice, I got ice cream in on the sun, but you should see the problem with fucking part.
Speaker 3That's a hard old Keila. No, but see, the problem with part is what?
Speaker 6Keisha just say they up there playing fucking bad man music. People don't want hair that shit all night. So cut that shit off, come play some other, different shit that people not hair in a fucking while. So that's why, bro, if, if a party, we have majority of locals, we know what they listen to. Bro, I can see two Spanish people in the back, couple white people over there I go into the, I go into the DJ.
Speaker 6yo Drop some Spanish music, but not in too long. Then drop some white music. Then switch up and go somewhere else. Bro, you have to. Even if it two people you make them feel like yo, they welcome in this party. They go and go and talk to their friend and say, yo shit, I went to this party last week, it was good. The next event no, them and their friends coming and your demographic just start to build. You can't close them out because if you see white people you don't play for them. They never come about to your party.
Speaker 4But you've got to understand. You have to understand your format of what you're doing, though in the context of what we're talking about.
Speaker 6We're talking about we off carnival.
Speaker 4now we came off that long back, but that was the topic of that.
Speaker 6We're off for that. We're just talking about general.
Speaker 4Yeah, but.
Speaker 6Rashad, you cater to them.
Speaker 4Let me fucking finish. Let me fucking finish, Kanye. Let me finish.
Speaker 6You're supposed to know.
Catering to Music Genres at Events
Speaker 4Yeah, but this is my thing. I think you're trying to discredit the point I was making. I'm not disagreeing with you, but to circle it back to what even started this conversation is we were talking about something that is carnival in Karabana. We were not talking about a general event or like if it was a 90s party, I wouldn't expect for somebody to be in there bitching in morning and complaining. If it was just 90s soccer playing, it should be everything from the 90s Dancehall, reggae, hip hop, soca, merengue, whatever the rest. It is spice girls. I expect them to hear that. But when you specifically talking about something that is carnival related, that is extremely specific and there is no need for us to be going in there catering to other people, because the whole point is you should be immersing yourself.
Speaker 6So then dancehall should be well-experienced.
Speaker 2Well, even if I don't want to, then sure. So dancehall should be well-experienced. I do not have a problem with something being 100% Soca.
Speaker 6Oh no.
Speaker 2As I said. I go to 100% soca, but as promoters, I'm gonna have to be careful and mindful, because then there are some people who don't care for the soca. They are out there for the reggae, so that's something not on the got to.
Speaker 3For carnival?
Speaker 2Yeah, they need to go home, because you mix According to your logic. They need to go home, and that's what I'm saying. Okay, okay, okay, but I will be one of them on the sidelines.
Speaker 4You need to understand the walk Right there. You need to understand the type of event you're going to and whatever. I went to fucking Coachella and if you know me, I love all the shit and I want to hear predominant like rap and R&B, but I knew going to Coachella I had to have an open mind. You know much white people shit over there, that was a white people festival.
Speaker 6Yeah, like, and I mean the highlight of it for me with Big Sean, but yes, but so I talk into it from a perspective of like putting on the event, not as a patron. So I get why the DJ would want to play that type of music. I completely get it.
Speaker 3You try to cater to everybody.
Speaker 6You try to cater to everybody, because that's what you should do as a good host. You try because you don't want to, you don't want to like. You got people coming support you. You don't want disrespect Spanish people, you don't want disrespect Jamaicans, you don't want to respect locals, white people, whoever. So you have to try to cater. So that way I understand where the DJ coming from. Granted, if the song played in Carnival, it would have shocked me. Granted, I would have still danced to it.
Speaker 2You don't want to.
Speaker 6It would have shocked. No, I wouldn't have went yeah.
Speaker 2Right.
Speaker 6So yeah, you got that.
Speaker 3Miss K, Miss T, 23 bro.
Speaker 6Yeah, you just got to make sure you cater to people and I get it.
Speaker 3It wasn't nice but I get it. I was out there the other day and I saw the different genres of music get touched and you playing the gunman tunes. You know what I mean. Keisha would appreciate that and we let it rock for like 15 minutes, let it go right, but when you see the women start dancing it's like all right. You got to get back to them, probably.
Speaker 2My thing is when I'm oh, I enjoy all types, all genres of music, but they be killing the vibe. You can't go from one thing to the next Like I get about catering to people and this and that. But like you can't be killing the vibe. It's got to be a blue.
Speaker 3I really think there's no sort of blended in. It's got to be a bright.
Speaker 6That will be killing it for me, of course you have to blend it in. You can't just go from one genre next you have genres that. So you go from downtown to like Afro beats, to like R&B, then to rap, then throw in some other random genres you want. Not in too long, but.
Speaker 2But it not always like that.
Speaker 6No, because that falls on the DJ. The DJ just need to know how to transition and be able to look around and see who's there, because I was going to say, like Halloween coming up now and we have to be very mindful of who we book, because they have to be very versatile. Djs. Because the crowd is extremely versatile, so I could go direct the mentality and say oh, this will be a dance, all soka party, fuck whoever else come the next Halloween party. Now the numbers decline and fall, and I wonder why.
Speaker 2Because I just run. Well, it came, yeah, I just run. You just run for the full moon. I just run.
Speaker 6We have the people that came, so you have to be mindful. So, like everybody, going to get their share of music on Halloween. Wait, something getting more. But you know, speaking of Halloween, what's going on? Halloween the Haunted, october 28th Sunbar. Okay, you sure? You didn't say I'm sure. Yeah, I was just going to say you sure. No, no, I had to think on the date, but no man. Yeah, saturday, october 28th, sunbar tickets on event bro.
Speaker 3Be there or be. Um, I saw some stuff recirculating recently about the drunk driving in Texas and how if a person is found liable, guilty of killing someone's parents, they will be probably on the hook to maintain that child for life or until of age. I've seen that kind of going back around again and I guess the similar calls of being ox for hair and chemo. You know we had a situation where a young man lost his life through to reckless driving and he has a few children, so I can see why that has been attractive and it's making his rounds around, making his rounds around, making his way around the news. Okay, so you posted to when you had any thoughts on that.
Insurance and Living Conditions in Texas
Speaker 4I just thought it was a good thing to do, like to, and I immediately thought about the situation that we have locally in that family in particular. That family in particular kind of basically fighting for justice, because the person that murdered him I don't even think that they have even closed that case out or anything or made real significant progress and he does have kids and it's just a sad situation to watch and, funny enough, actually one of the kids are in my son's tutorial. So it just kind of hit close to home for me. But I did have someone when I shared it they slid in my DMs to ask, like you know, what did it? Did the ad or not? The ad?
Speaker 4The thing mentioned anything about how they're going to actually monitor how that's going to be paid, because they're like, if someone was incarcerated, where's the money going come from? So the one article I read in particular was I think there was like a few variations if the person did have like savings or access to money, it would automatically come from that. But if they were someone that was not in a position to financially make those payments while incarcerated, they are liable to begin payments immediately after release.
Speaker 3Yeah, it sounds on. So it sounds really attractive on the surface.
Speaker 4And not one liner.
Speaker 3Yeah, but how does it work out?
Speaker 4Yeah, because then when you think about it, if someone gets their ass handed to them and they're stuck in there for a long time and they're not financially in a good position before they go in there, is that family actually going to ever really benefit from those payments because they come out? Then you're talking about position where they probably can't get employment. They're in there forever and our child probably done made it through school by the time they get out, and maybe the grandchildren can benefit from it. So you know it's probably a very tricky thing.
Speaker 2You have to look at, you know, because in the States I guess you have like, like the certain type of taxes that are pulled from your check so you can look at probably garnishing wages here you could do an earlys attachment, but they would have to have a job.
Speaker 3Yeah, or you can go out to their assets.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3Have a home, have vehicles.
Speaker 4Yeah, so the article I read was kind of speaking to that.
Speaker 3But I wouldn't have much faith in that, though, because I know people struggle here now with attachment orders and getting money from deadbeat parents.
Speaker 2They might all claim bankruptcy.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, we'd have to see how it works out.
Speaker 4I mean, it's Texas, we're going to hear about it. They're always between them and Florida. They be out to know, yeah.
Speaker 3We're trying to go Texas now. We're a big house with 200,000, next to the border, nope. Eight bedrooms, 17 cars.
Speaker 6You move in drunk street days later You're a mule. Yeah, you're a mule all the time, but they catch you on Instagram with a big fucking house with 300,000 and living key. Rashad, I want to talk to you.
Speaker 4In my head. You just blow them houses too hard. They can fall over.
Speaker 3Oh no, they definitely made a. I like my concrete. Next on the United States.
Speaker 4they just go like just drive and pay attention, yeah, but it's insane to me because I'm like you can never do that in a camera.
Speaker 3Tornadoes and all that shit too.
Speaker 4And that was the thing. They have the kind of weather that would literally wipe that out, and they still build in homes like that For the low bro, these cookie cutter homes. That way they're so fucking cheap oh.
Speaker 6You just get a good couple of years out of it if you're lucky, but then just you know it is what it is. Claim insurance.
Speaker 2You are such a business woman.
Speaker 4Nah, but it's a good point. It does hurt my feelings when I do see those little Texas homes. It does it.
Speaker 6The little ads that come across us like oh I love that Because I know a comrade living came on and living in Texas.
Speaker 5We have the beach, so we're around there, Nice, you know it's calm, relatively safe.
Speaker 6Texas, you know you step out. You're my color, you gotta be careful I would say you gotta be careful, very racist. Then, right by the fucking border, you gotta car tell You're not gonna fucking beach, just beer, dirt and fucking dust. Oh, nasty water, yeah, like so.
Speaker 2I, I good. They don't even feel no fucking idea.
Speaker 4I don't feel a way in terms of wanting to live there.
Speaker 6No, you just wish it was possible.
Speaker 4I talked about the accessibility of having a house like that for that cause, whereas we get a little box.
Speaker 6Just think about your neighbor behind you Throwing packages in your yard. You know, got muda into fucking Dallas area.
Speaker 3Like you, murray bird, on the fucking Ozarks.
Speaker 6All they do. It's all they do with the package. You just put a picture of your kid walking into school, bam on top of it. You know what to do and they say drop this to someone. You picking that shit up and you taking it to raise it With my kid yeah, yeah for 300,000. There you go I call it Mike Lauri.
Speaker 3Okay, all right, five boys for life. I'm speaking on real quick. You mentioned insurance and I cause I have a friend of mine who had a brand new Benz and I was like yo, that's nice, or whatever. I was like, yeah, see you through the keys, like go ahead and take it for a drive. That's when we're being taken by, like whoa, it's just a brand new car, like take it for a drive. You know nervous, you know, but it's on the side of how insurance works and insurance you know cause Keisha mentioned about business and whatnot. We got to really do our Googles or whatever. Speak to people, get good advice, and I wanted to drop the PSA just because of the season that we're in, which is hurricane season. Make sure your insurance is up to date. People Learn about under insurance because you will be penalized. Understand that your valuation and these are, these are months that you need to ensure for, Please ensure for those amounts, cause you don't want something to happen and you find out and you pay that deductible and your house is grass.
Speaker 6That's why I'm glad I rent they are pros and nothing.
Speaker 4Once the strata being run properly too, it'll be careful there are strata's that are not paying.
Speaker 6I'm not even going like hurricane come straight bottom. I go into the concrete walls, straight to the concrete wall.
Speaker 4It is paper thin opinion.
Speaker 6If I sneeze upstairs, our body will wake up.
Speaker 4And for those of you that live in apartments, please remember, there's a thing such as contents insurance. Collecting up inside the place is not covered if you live in an apartment complex.
Speaker 3And the things, the content policies are not too expensive. You can get those for reasonable prices and it's covering things like your laptops, your TVs, all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 6If there's place falling one, two things coming with me. Your dog. No, no, no, not even him. He's running behind.
Speaker 3No, he will be running behind. Oh no, he's going to be running behind.
Speaker 6No, he will be running behind me, but he didn't run straight.
Speaker 3No, you will be running behind, you will be, running behind.
Speaker 6Bro, the door will be open and we have the stairs.
Speaker 3Is it? It's?
Speaker 6on here. He's a black person's dog. Once he see me running, he come in, and he come in fast. I just grabbed my laptop on my desk and I'm out my dog following. I'll open the door If you don't come in five seconds. I give you a chance.
Speaker 4Sink or swim.
Speaker 2See, that way I don't have pets, I don't have time.
Speaker 4No, I think about it all the time. We need pet insurance. We ought to be out of it. That's another thing.
Speaker 6This round of Bahá'á vpets kind of hard, especially when you're renting. Because everybody they're treating pets like kids in NAU. No kids, no NAU, no pet yeah man.
Speaker 2They all in the same category, Basically All in the same category. Don't put my child in no category. No pet People treat their pets like proper humans.
Speaker 6Yeah, I got him locked up in the room. I know you probably enjoy it.
Speaker 2Yeah but when you come down to the nitty-gritty of it, humans and animals are not treated the same To who To you.
Speaker 6People right now would definitely get that.
Speaker 3There was a couple months ago the woman house caught fire. She went back in for the dog and she died in the dog lift. Oh wow, Fucking idiot I'm sorry for laughing, but no way you know where she was right, oh, where this was. It was on the States one.
Speaker 2Oh of course.
Speaker 3She came out in the smoke. What's the word Smoke?
Speaker 2inhalation.
Speaker 3Yeah, whatever that was, that's a girl.
Speaker 2Carbon monoxide.
Grieving and Funerals in Relationships
Speaker 3Dog chilling. You know what I mean Fucking idiot. And now he don't got no owner. She on the lawn.
Speaker 2Right.
Speaker 3No, he doesn't.
Speaker 6He'll get picked up. He's got to pick someone up again and probably going to forget about the owner after like probably like a year or two.
Speaker 2They're like damn, what happened to Trisha man? Oh shit, fuck them pets. No, no, you can't say that Fuck them pets.
Speaker 6Granted if Rich that little dog's so cute. But if somebody broke into the crib, I let him out first.
Speaker 2So what are you going to do? Strap them, strap them.
Speaker 6You're going to strap them, scare them some shit. Give you time to come up with a plan.
Speaker 4And that'll take. Small dogs be acting unruly Exactly.
Speaker 3I got a really important question to ask real quick. Here you go. So I'm going to say one All right, so your side chick dies, right? How long are you allowed to grieve?
Speaker 2Next question Are you allowed to grieve your side, chick? I'm coming to you too.
Speaker 6I wouldn't know. I wouldn't know what that's about, but yeah, no, you can't grieve, grateful Robert. You can't grieve.
Speaker 4You're sick, you can't grieve.
Speaker 2You can cut that out so she only got enough to fuck, but she not good enough to grieve.
Speaker 6No, but I can't talk on that like that, because if I speak on it no, no.
Speaker 3I know it. Yeah, like I can't say that. I think you do the part, yasu, People do everything, so this is the edit point.
Speaker 6Then yes, no, no edit point I'm choosing not to Plead the fifth. Yeah, I'm pleading the fifth, fifth.
Speaker 3Alright, kayla, how long can your mind grieve?
Speaker 6if it is side chick dies, I don't know, you see, that's how a question goes out, bro.
Speaker 4I guess I just too logical. You can grieve as long as you want to grieve, Literally. What are you supposed to do about that?
Speaker 3Somewhat I said until your girl get hold.
Speaker 4Like it going to be my what's wrong with you Nothing.
Speaker 3Why your eye wet?
Speaker 4Up inside. If I can cry over your side, please Listen. I can't tell nobody how long they can grieve. I just have to live my life and go about my business.
Speaker 3So it was a girl? Pause, right. I mean you hear her in the streets or whatever and you see your guy just acting funny.
Speaker 4I would fucking know, but I would already know anyway. Every woman knows when they get in bunion. And this one here, this one here.
Speaker 2No, I saw a video today that God gave us that instinct to know like when something's wrong.
Speaker 3Every woman knows Like you keep calming.
Speaker 2Of course we know that too, we be given another benefit of the doubt. None of more, though. Fuck that.
Speaker 4And let me tell you, nerds are fuck boys too. Learn that.
Speaker 2Learn that, guys. Ion, what you on? You want to run game. I got to run games.
Speaker 3Alright, chris Breezy.
Speaker 2Alright, anything you want, I wait.
Speaker 3Alright, so how long can he grieve?
Speaker 2Excuse. First of all this whole side check argument. You first have to be acknowledged, so you can't just be somebody on the side that nobody knows about.
Speaker 3What if you come and tell you you don't want to talk to me?
Speaker 2So like, if me and my man and he have a side check that I don't know about, he better grieve out of my presence. Cause me, and you never agree to that. Where'd you come from?
Speaker 3I go and link my boys, your creation.
Speaker 2Better must be. Not with me. Come in. You never agree to that, don't grieve in my presence.
Speaker 6No, go somewhere else. I'm out of town, alright, so he can't agree. I didn't even like that topic. To be honest, I didn't even like that one. It's so offensive right.
Speaker 3Yeah, that's an offensive one.
Speaker 4It's just very interesting.
Speaker 3Alright, let me ask this one then. So let's go to Keesha. Can your current person cry if their ex passes?
Speaker 2I don't have a current person.
Speaker 3Come on Jesus.
Speaker 4The answer is yes.
Speaker 2Next Like don't say next Alright, alright, go ahead, that was it.
Speaker 5I'm just aesthetically speaking, hypothetically speaking, can it go to the funeral?
Speaker 2See, that's my question too. No, say what you said. Sorry, I wasn't.
Speaker 3Your date and your relationship or whatever, and their ex dies.
Speaker 2My ex.
Speaker 3No, their ex. How long they allowed to be fucked up about it for.
Speaker 2Of as long as they need to. I wasn't there.
Speaker 3No, you in love, no, come on.
Speaker 2No, no, no About relationships and like friendships and whatever you can't tell somebody, they can't grieve about somebody.
Speaker 6So they can go to the funeral.
Speaker 2Of course. Who am I to stop?
Speaker 6them, so you would go Not to sound insensitive about the person. That wouldn't happen in a Like, literally Would you go to the funeral?
Speaker 2If they needed me for moral support, why not?
Speaker 6You would go to the funeral.
Speaker 2Of course, yeah, and you would console them.
Speaker 6You would console them if he in their bowling.
Speaker 2Of course, then I'm a mental health.
Speaker 6Then I want to always preach and all this.
Speaker 3So you make him.
Speaker 2Go and cause a fool of yourself that have not entered the family.
Speaker 3You are leaving him there, right?
Speaker 2You know I wouldn't leave him there.
Speaker 6Yeah, I would, she would. No, that is different. No, I wouldn't.
Speaker 5Can I let you jump in the casket? It's not like. It's not like it's fun.
Speaker 3If my girl ex passes tomorrow.
Speaker 2If you know anything about me. I don't like embarrassment.
Speaker 3Sorry, I don't think you can tell If she's there talking about why Lord take me instead and jump in the casket that my last time seeing her blood. Yeah.
Speaker 2No, well, not all that excitement, I just actually Can you try to jump in the casket.
Speaker 3He doesn't even.
Speaker 6He's like a weirdo, he's probably got a 350.
Speaker 4But what do you want me to do? Person dead relationship.
Speaker 2What do you want me to do? Because after they, see the casket he got come home with me. So what do you want me to?
Speaker 3do. Nah, he got come with you. You know what he want everything 3, 4, 5. Somebody, let's set the footage to everything 3, 4, 5. You're doing too much.
Speaker 4No, alright, alright, alright.
Speaker 2He can't be going all the way to the pool Take me instead.
Speaker 6That's a bit much, even if I want ball. And my girl beside me. I sit in the right, yeah, like this you might see a little.
Speaker 3Oh and V, you might see a little one coming.
Speaker 6I might just catch her quick Nah. That would do this.
Speaker 3Not the one I, I was just, I was just. I can't.
Speaker 6I literally just dare like.
Speaker 4I had to do that, though that was an interesting experience my ex-best friend when he died and we had like a rough breakup, so I didn't even my ex Sorry, yeah, I didn't know him off.
Speaker 4My ex-best friend. So his best friend passed away, okay After we broke up and we kind of had a nasty breakup and I went to the funeral but it was really tough because one I kind of almost felt like I shouldn't have been there, but he was my friend as well, so it was I saw at the Verbakhter church that you, literally I had this situation, like that too. Literally the second to last few.
Speaker 3So that's not even the scenario, no, but.
Speaker 4I mean I talking about a similar situation of having to accompany somebody you were with to a funeral. It's it is not an easy situation, it's just a lot. There's a lot going on.
Speaker 3A lot going on, we went serious, but yeah, I know that.
Speaker 4Yeah, you better be going, I know. Imagine me going with like let's just say, there's my husband and his ex-wife, that's what. I'm saying His ex-wife died and you know we go into the funeral. You can't be out in crazy. That shit happened. I was gonna say what time are you gonna be waiting for him in the car? Yeah, you gotta keep it.
Speaker 3Keep it a bit, keep it a bit together.
Speaker 4for me She'll be in peace, even if it tearing you up, just kind of fake it, because I can't deal with that lovely embarrassment, no.
Speaker 2But that's what I said. I said you can't take the embarrassment so you gotta kind of you can't be doing too much. I allowed that. I allowed that it is your loving, whatever you do, that she did so figure it out, because after this, casket seal, that's it.
Speaker 4That's an interesting one.
Speaker 3I apologize.
Speaker 4That's an interesting one though.
Speaker 3The THC delivery via the food app.
Speaker 4That's still happening. Because, remember there was this parent that went saying could a child ask him that or did the gummies? He didn't. He think he asked him.
Speaker 3I'm asking Allegedly, so that's to him.
Speaker 4No, my child.
Speaker 3So the medical Wow, the chief medical officer sorry, he made a statement just kind of reminding people that those kind of things are not allowed.
Speaker 4They're illegal. Oh God, we're getting reprimanded.
Speaker 3Yeah, but yo that's.
Speaker 4But my thing is, it's being sold though, so you need to take that out with the company. Yes, telling the public, but if that company is bringing this in or shipping this in or whatever, is it not like a customs?
Speaker 2No, but you can get it on a prescription. But should?
Speaker 4it be, but should not. So this is why I'm saying like then you should be going to a healthcare provider. Like these apps are not official healthcare providers, so they shouldn't be allowed.
Speaker 3like To have that item.
Speaker 4Yeah, like they shouldn't be allowed to even ship something like that, because they're not a registered physician. But I guess if you, or maybe some stipulation to the person's account, like their profile, but then you talk about data protection too, with that kind of stuff, because then you're going to be asking me to provide, like, medical information.
Speaker 2You want these gummies or not?
Speaker 4You gum a card number, but beyond that, like medical history, not like another layer of that, though True.
Speaker 3I feel like kids have been ingesting these things.
Speaker 4You can have some other card number, but you don't know, they got herpes. What I just thought?
Speaker 3I was extreme, but you see my point, like I feel you.
Speaker 4I mean, can we order gummies? What's one not on?
Speaker 3Yeah, if you know the app, send us the app please. You should have told me that earlier, or they ordered some so we could get some for you.
Speaker 2We just want to verify it. You know what I'm saying. So you're still taking place. Try not to For generalism purposes.
Speaker 3Yeah, for sure. Um, you want some scams out here. Nah, private school sitting in the early, dealing with the school bus things too.
Speaker 4I don't understand. Has anybody ever released a reasoning and a rationale behind it? From a private school perspective, who is going to fund it? Them with the amount of fees, the clock charging their board, where the bus coming from they can ship it in.
Speaker 5My thing is they can't fit on the road in more time.
Speaker 4But if we minimize the amount of people with a pit in the dump on the road and they're all on the bus, that is going to decrease the multiple cars. Because my issue with it is the mother is going to drop the kids, the daddy is leaving to get to work, the mother is leaving to go to work, the daddy leaving to go to work and the nanny dropping the kids. That's three people, three vehicles on the road. From one house Is that different schedules bro. Like yes, we do.
Speaker 2And that was what she's saying to the minorities.
Speaker 4But you could at least cut one of those three vehicles out if the children go on the bus.
Speaker 3But at what cost? I'm just, I agree with you, y'all can afford it. Yeah, I agree. They can afford it. Who can afford it? Private schools can afford it for a bus. That's their argument, though.
Speaker 4They're full of shit.
Speaker 3If you read the article in the Compass you know when you bring up an idea to someone and they automatically go to like 10 or 15 different reasons why you want to. And that's just what it sounded like. So they're saying they're not on the pharmaceuticals? They're saying they need more dialogue around it because it's a law that's going to go into it. You're talking about purchasing the buses. How?
Speaker 2the routes work. Then they got to do demographic work.
Speaker 3You know, with private schools people come from all over the island. Because I know at one of the schools in West Bay, for example, there's a stop at Hurleys. People are still driving to Hurleys to drop their kids and then catch the bus and move forward, which does help mitigate some of it.
Speaker 3But if you read the article in the Compass I believe it was yeah, it's just a lot of things that go into it and they're already asking government to help. So government's going to have to subsidize and pay, either giving them duty imports and to bring it in for free, or to pay for the buses. But that is kind of something we need to do.
Speaker 4We need to do little waivers on shit like that, not 10 store buildings in town Blocking my view. But no, I'm sorry I've been out of high school.
Speaker 3I think they have a role to play.
Speaker 4I've been out of high school almost 15 years and I was in a bus then sharing with two other people. There's not a today problem and you literally have a model that you can follow Private schools, not private public schools, been hard buses in place. So to me it's just a piss poor excuse and all that money you're charging you can't find a way to redirect that. Whatever they build new building, they add into the school fee. The church got money when it going.
Speaker 3That church got a lot of money.
Speaker 4All of those churches, Remember, most of these schools come from the church. So to me the money thing is not in our ad, not. And if you need government help cool To me, this is one thing.
Speaker 3It's going to be a cost, though that's going to be now, yeah of course.
Speaker 4But then reoccurring every year Do a cost analysis and figure it out though.
Speaker 3And it's going to already put up an expensive why?
Speaker 2should that impact government spending? That's a private school. They only need help for like one year.
Speaker 3Government already subsidizes private schools and give them funds Every private school and they need to change that, why they're doing you a service by having the space for your kids to go to school. So that's what I'm saying, because we can't afford private schools.
Speaker 2Do not get me started. It's going to be a back and forth between both.
Speaker 4And I do hope that they can see the match.
Speaker 3Yeah, I think that's what people really want. To let it.
Speaker 4At least attempt where our traffic issue is disgusting and you literally see this and all the difference when school closed, and all them children probably live in the same area.
Speaker 2Anyway, that's a one big.
Speaker 3What are you trying to say when they?
Speaker 2live I don't know where, but I just say it like to get to add to 8K.
Speaker 4That's what. They don't live near me, right, they don't live near me. That's what I know.
Speaker 3Yacht Club South Sound.
Speaker 4Grand Harbor. You should talk to things with people South Sound.
Speaker 3I don't know where they live. Crystal.
Speaker 4Crystal Harbor.
Speaker 3The Harbors are Crystal.
Speaker 4But behind Grand Harbor, whatever, behind peanuts, I don't give a rest where it is At least attempt to implement that. And you know what's crazy. I know some parents that have kids in private school that would not mind about system.
Speaker 2System. Yeah, Because some of them try to do a carpool system too. Yeah.
Speaker 4So it's like everybody can recognize it's needed. And let's not forget every raw school is in the same damn street Street. Yeah, so there was no thought behind the infrastructure of what was going on with that. Like it's an ongoing problem. At least attempt Like it shouldn't just be a public school problem, it is a school issue. In Cayman, walkers rode on a weekly basis in the morning and in the afternoon is insane Because you have traffic come in and going multiple ways and prep on Catholic have outgrown their parcel. They run out of space Long time. Oh wow, yeah, like, if you look at Catholic now, their front field is a building. They had to build a whole new building which hiked up their school fees. Like the only little one is probably out of Advantage right now is Triple C because they were on the back but they still stuck in traffic.
Speaker 4Oh yeah, and then now we have the new one on this stretch here. They might not be as bad because they're kind of going to just come out and go with the flow, but you have them now Island Primary. Who knows where their kids demographically live? So how much is that going to probably contribute now to traffic on this stretch in the morning? We don't know. And that's a you have to come from one way because you can't really get to that school without driving. You know it's an ongoing issue.
Speaker 3Let me teleport. Let me just be able to teleport.
Speaker 4Listen to me 2024, bro. If I could make him go in one spacecraft and just land on top of a John Green. Wahoo, wahoo see, I would do it, wahoo.
Speaker 3Stink off.
Speaker 2Isn't that the same house you were in?
Speaker 4Yeah, I went. Dolphin oh dolphin. The only reason I don't mind him being a Wahoo is because they're not a loser house in the Morrisville. If they were still a loser house, I would have felt real stink.
Speaker 3But you guys have a parent. You don't want an ox in the moving or not.
Speaker 4No, because he didn't want me and Wahoo to begin with, and I was like that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3If he was in a bad house I was would you go and fight for him?
Speaker 4Possibly. Possibly, I was in the best house in middle school and high school OK, I was in Mercer and then I was in dolphin. They were the best houses when I was in school.
Speaker 3Elkiza, you're a good one, but you want to come in and laugh for her.
Speaker 2Oh, I went Marlin, she went Marlin. Marlin were the best. I didn't know what he was going on with. Shout out, we were winning sports day.
Speaker 4That is true, that is not true.
Speaker 2Where's Rashad? That is not true.
Speaker 1Marlin won sports day. You better call Leanna, because Leanna was also in Marlin.
Speaker 2That was our host captain. He was my first fit. We were definitely winning in high school.
Speaker 3Real quick, real quick. The OK Money Home has been playing for removal. They want to do a duplex there.
Speaker 4Where this is again Bargassons, which one by Foster's.
Speaker 3No in the bot. In the bot, though, Bargassons.
Speaker 4Oh, the where the fish fry is.
Speaker 3Yeah, down that street. Yeah, so there's an OK Money Home I guess one of the last few that's there around the place, and to be fair, I mean the owners of the prerogative. They're planning to put a duplex there.
Speaker 4I don't remember who sat in the chat this week, but I like the idea of what they said, like we should put them all in one area and kind of make it.
Speaker 3I think.
Speaker 2Yeah, oh, that was Chris. He said put them in Easter.
Speaker 4Yeah, like I thought it was cool, but then I saw We'll never go see him.
Speaker 2No, because everybody loves to take a drive out. Yeah.
Speaker 4Yeah, and then the person that said I think it was Alana that made a really good point that we also are lacking the knowledge of how to maintain these homes. So who is going to really like? We need to document that and put that somewhere that maybe somebody can start to learn, because we really shouldn't lose all of them on a basis that, oh my God, nobody don't know. And people is dying, these old people is dying and they losing their memories, so yeah.
Speaker 4I thought you know, I thought it was a fair point for Alana to point out that you know people always get an uproar about oh, you know they're going to demolish this, but the truth is like they're not the person inheriting essentially a problem Like the money to maintain homes. Like that is a significant amount of money.
Speaker 3So and I guess the practicality of it too, yeah, how you don't really have a family.
Speaker 4And that's my thing Like you're maintaining a home that somebody is probably not even living in, like it's a little insane, hi.
Speaker 3The part of visitor dog.
Speaker 4Hey, it's Chiro, joined us.
Speaker 3You heard me talking about him on this one.
Speaker 4Hello, oh my God, him so cute, I want to know, you can't realize.
Speaker 3Girls with dogs bro, sit down, sit down. Ok, they like dogs. Wait, man don't talk about that. What you mean by talking?
Speaker 2about the fish had so soft His dog ain't love it Soft love.
Speaker 4He loved that dog. I know he probably someday say oh you fucking nuisance. But I hate him sometimes.
Speaker 2I know when he be posting. It may be killing myself a lot.
Speaker 4Chiro got a girlfriend. They're killing them.
Speaker 6That hates him, so that's how I know she like him. Oh, but she won't kill him. Kill him. She won't kill him more.
Speaker 4We're a little bowing her hair. She'd be so cute, but then she just growls at him. So rough.
Speaker 2Are they the same breed?
Speaker 6Yeah, but I think Chiro's a mix. But no, she's a mix. She's a pomeranian mix with a shit too. Her name is Chi Chi the Pomp Pomp. Oh my god.
Speaker 2She's so cute. That's a face.
Speaker 6That is so cute. She has an Instagram page.
Speaker 4She? Does she what I love animals Like? I love animals.
Speaker 3So he has an Instagram body.
Speaker 4Yeah, she right around the corner.
Speaker 2She right around the corner. No IG body, just like your daddy.
Speaker 6Yo can you.
Speaker 2Dude no edit point Not Keep batting.
Speaker 3I don't talk about high cost living, that's depressing.
Speaker 2No, that's depressing. You're tired of that.
Speaker 6Diva just made us more depressed before he left.
Speaker 2Talking shit.
Speaker 6He gave me a kiss just inside us or stuff oh god tell me that offline Can I? Listen to that.
Speaker 4Your child is not comfortable or shy.
Speaker 6No, because once you start touching his head, he goes crazy.

Speaker 4Like she doing what she's supposed to be doing.
Speaker 2Making them happy In public, though Whatever they wasn't in public, they were in the private of the boat, that's not to be quiet. They were in the private of the boat. Who's a good person?
Speaker 6Yeah, he should be a good person Because he got Billy. He don't got three fingers. Oh yeah, I remember she's like Rules, rules.
Speaker 3If they got money, they good.
Speaker 4He should have went out in the middle of the water.
Speaker 3Bro, different rules. The boat was pulling in on the side Like to the other harbor. Yeah, like to me.
Speaker 2I definitely didn't think. First of all, what you were going on in my boat. Mind your own business. This, what happened to Anna? No one in the town mind Anna Own business, always in other people's business. No, but if you're doing it in public.
Speaker 6It's still not your business.
Speaker 2Close your eyes. No, no, no, close your eyes.
Speaker 3You can't hide it in public. It's not in public.
Speaker 2It's on the privacy of the boat. How your eye reach over there. How your eye reach over there. You in the road. It's not in the proper boat. See, anna, that way, that way.
Speaker 6I always say I know this whole kitchen, kayla, feel man Whenever they go out like and the kid will younger until he can get down. Really, oh, I like. No, he try and get down.
Speaker 2He try and get down. No, but you got whole arm right, Bro, he ain't not.
Speaker 4These people man.
Speaker 2Literally. Last night a baby boy would do it not to me, Try and shuffle out of my hand. I'm like you are a baby, you have to stay right here.
Speaker 4Oh, he like you. Well, he's my mom, you know. I would go and say you got a little bloodline.
Speaker 3Let's go to him and keep it like. Keep it, get out of here. World champion comments NBA blah blah blah. Christian Rock give birth to baby boy.
Speaker 6I didn't see that blue face on touching the road.
Speaker 4She said, she didn't ever I.
Speaker 2Did? She named him after her too.
Speaker 4Yeah, I wasn't sure how I felt about. I think I get it.
Speaker 2I feel a little beginning. You know, I feel like I would have done a middle name.
Speaker 4Because, her name to me is unisex. Yeah, I don't think it's a girly name. Wait, a minute was what's?
Speaker 3the, but it named a Christian Malone.
Speaker 4I was gonna say she named the son after.
Speaker 3Christian is not a male name.
Speaker 4I said it's a unisex name.
Speaker 3I'm saying I wouldn't use that for me, of course that's two male names put together, chris and Sean.
Speaker 6Christian.
Speaker 4I thought, I thought it was a girl name I would never name you guys think is the girl name, because she is the person that you know.
Speaker 2I find it unisex.
Speaker 4It's a unisex name.
Speaker 3You're the way I would have had in public on a boat.
Speaker 4So no, I think that was public. That would definitely Literally yeah, I think it's a unisex name, but either way, I just tired of the two of them. Like she need rehab, he needs licks.
Speaker 2Okay, even his mom came out to me. She was like trying to explain why he wasn't there trying to put contacts, but I like you.
Speaker 4I.
Speaker 3Like why she get rehab doing.
Speaker 4He get licks, but but she couldn't get help. I think she might actually have a chance of regaining some sense. I genuinely feel there is no hope for that man.
Speaker 3I think, I think, I think he says and the things he does.
Speaker 4I don't like. I don't see anything come about for him cuz he genuinely I think he's just Like. I just think he is just insane. Insane is not the right word, but something wrong, that man. So he need licks. Okay, but his big mother that look like she shaped like the letter P.
Speaker 2She looked like one she you ever watch a bug's life? She looked like him, aunt.
Speaker 6But wasn't, wasn't all girls doing that challenge?
Speaker 4Oh no, yeah, but my pee look good.
Speaker 6You rude without you out of pocket her stem on her.
Speaker 2Her stem on her dad. You seen her be the L. She looks she needs to go back and get it done. She did not finish. Well, let's flush her legs. That is not matching. Yeah, she got she got. I am not hitting. You see if I get this done.
Speaker 4She got her baby. I like Guelma because my god.
Speaker 3Oh, okay, no.
Speaker 2I'm not hater, I love myself, which is why I have not gotten a BBL. You've got these titties Yep big and slapping in your face and you would get this little Booty. I ain't gonna ask, like Kayla, what I got. A little something going on, so you take this and on that note.
Speaker 4You can gray ass in the gym. I just let me on the right. That's so I go check.
Speaker 6In a three-week turnaround. I saw a girl in the road.
Speaker 2But don't, don't they have to lay down in the sling, massages and all kind of thing. I'm afraid of that.
Speaker 6If they come back like the day after no, you can't you have.
Speaker 4They've ever potted. Yeah, you have to. First of all, you got, stay for a week? Yeah, a week, or two, because there's drainage, like you literally have things hooked up to you draining blood, excess fluid, and you gotta do limb fatigue.
Speaker 2That will frighten me up and I don't mind a BBL, but that need be a good her job is awful.
Speaker 3Her scar kind of fresh bra, I was like oh.
Speaker 2Universal. I kid you not, the girl will legit in her like her father. Literally, I'm like bitch. Why are you even at a theme park? You can't get on none of these rides support BBLs.
Speaker 6There's a port them.
Speaker 2She shouldn't you be what? Literally like she looked like she had on a armor and like her dream.
Speaker 6Well, I on the side, like walk around in whatever they want to walk around. I guess are you telling people what they can.
Speaker 2Freedom of what they could do no problem.
Speaker 3You stop on the culture, no problem.
Speaker 6That's the culture.
Speaker 2We know, how you stick you walking around a father, I pretty sure you get an infection. That is, you got open wounds.
Speaker 4That is their home. That's it. You can't tell people to do in their eyes, or shy would say take care of yourself, get some gold.
Speaker 3How did you waste your 20s?
Speaker 2Oh, relationships being a.
Speaker 3Whoa, whoa, whoa. I was a relationship. What do you mean by I live?
Speaker 6in just I never everything bright in real it. I didn't really handle goals. I would just, you know, living well. I guess that what they say was doing your 20s boy? Yeah, you just Brought us. I was just doing whatever. I didn't really handle goals, no plans for life and whatnot, until I got older granted, not my hope, not my whole 20s, but definitely the first fucking half of it for sure.
Speaker 3Yeah, just a little way, you, you, want to own this kid. That is already recently. I'm gonna see you Say island. I feel that you, you not being hardy yourself, though, right.
Speaker 6No, no, no, no, but that actually crossed my mind today, that problem, the funniest words that the Jamaicans ever created. That's your summer to say I love. You need to take that serious. I think I had a loser on the same Back in the day, because I'm a loser when you fight.
Speaker 7I start by reading about this one. You know, being an entrepreneur, it separates the boys from the men. I wake up every day 4, 30 am. I meditate. I start by reading about 10, 15 pages of rich dad, poor dad and the four-hour work week. People don't want to take the leap of faith right into my office. I comp through my emails for about 15 to 20 hours. No food, I just run off that and protein shakes. But if I knew what I knew now at 20, I'd be one of the greats. I'm on musk, I'm talking. I'm talking Steve Jobs. It's a nine to five. That's fine, I'm gonna be separate from the sheep.
Speaker 7Starting a business is simple. The money is there. You just have to go get it. Hundred million dollar loan to start your company and you could just pay that back in like two to three business days. Mindset what did I change my mindset, chris, three days ago, three days ago? Then LLC is maybe 200, 300 dollars. Drop some money in the business bank account and then that's when you get a EIN. This loans upward to $100 quadrillion.
Speaker 6Right wash out.
Speaker 3We gotta go out and get it. Broke up to a lot of people in 20. Stop fucking around, go get it.
Speaker 6No one do you think it is, but do you think?
Speaker 2I don't regret anything, but there's just a lot of things that I was doing. Your 20s you still it's the last of my 20s. You're like a couple months left right there, enjoy.
Speaker 6So I can't eat so quick. No, I don't, I don't want to.
Speaker 4Is, most of the time you don't even know what you fucked up anyway, until after the fact exactly.
Speaker 4So it's like everybody's always like I wish I knew that in my turn is you didn't know, you didn't know. So why you getting upset like there is probably circumstances where you know you did have better choices, that you could have chosen, or somebody trying to kind of lead you in a better path, but most of the time you look back in situations and you actually didn't know what the better choice was, because when you know better you do better like that's where we at most people Well, most people some dumb.
Speaker 6Know but that like no, but that comment. I don't say that but.
Speaker 2I let my people say common sense. It's not common sense you either, nor you don't know. Yeah, like there's no such thing as common sense you either, nor you don't know. So when you know, then you know. It's then common, because we know, but there's no such thing as common sense. You gotta know first. You got a beat in the know. So you think you wasted your time on relationships? Yeah, I do, absolutely.
Speaker 3So that's just so swift.
Speaker 2Yeah, because I she Down in. Yeah, I had a baby young, so I thought that about. Then that's what you do you settle down and you have a family. Oh, how are we gonna get? So I got pregnant at 16 and I gave birth at 17.
Speaker 3Okay, okay, yeah, so I spent straight into wife life right there. Thank you, office trees bring the first son in all these things.
Speaker 2You know, yeah, well, good girl that in Chinese called China, I bring the first son. Okay, okay, anyway, hello. So you know, over here that had it's ups and downs to you know we had our troubles there or whatever, but still I tried to, you know, rectify whatever. Didn't work out, so we move. Found another relationship again. You go through the ups and downs, the motions.
Speaker 3Didn't work out, so we move he was always one, he was, they both were. Sorry, I'm always fussy but I though having, I guess, serious relationships in your, in your late teens, early, early 20s, having a child involves I'm a I would imagine it's super difficult.
Speaker 2It's so fun I could. Just today, I tweeted. I Tweeted this money me or better as friends than we were in our relationship.
Speaker 6You mean you? What is it called? No, it's where somebody said like he did, or X, cuz I'm not tweeting no more. Oh.
Speaker 2X. Hello, well, I said tweeted yeah, that way this girl.
Speaker 2Yeah, I posted a X on my whatever I can't even get over, yeah, and I said today, like, well, the tweet was talking about him. My son's father was saying, like we are better as friends and when we were together, like I guess we had to go, go through what we went through to Be where we are now. I mean, yeah, I know it didn't have to be that way, but just the way that our situations happen to be. You know, it went up, then it came really really down and then, after some much needed time and therapy, I was able to like go back and be like you know what. There's something that I want fix for the longevity of my son and I's relationship with him, cuz he not going nowhere, like him and I share a son together, so people always be like, oh, 18 years and whatever, like no, that would be my kid forever. Yeah, so I go be his father.
Speaker 3They also have some on marriage and kids and it's like, yeah, how the kids? When I get married, I'm like, nah, bro, I think you go to mixed up. Marriage is easy to get out of the child kids.
Speaker 2Tied to that person for yeah, and for a long time. It took me a while to realize like, yeah, this is not the fairytale story that you have in your head, like you need to accept that this is where it's at, accept that it's not what you want it to be, but it could still work to be something positive for my whole world, you, when you realize that not first relationship, not this was like alright, is it?
Speaker 2Um, well with well with the first one it wasn't even that like to be honest. God just gave me a oh and I took it cuz I was just scared you know about. Then people have these things and they say, oh, being a single mother first of all carries its own shames, and then having a baby as a teen, like I, walked with that on my shoulders for a while, yeah. So I Just thought, like you know, you got to stick it out and I did that and didn't work out, so jump out.
Speaker 3I saw you. I say a little name to one on the cabinet minutes. You see my, you need your approval for your thing. Big up me K you good, you you had, you wasted your twins or not? You good?
Speaker 4I, I don't believe, I don't believe not. Oh yeah, I don't believe it not like similar to.
Speaker 3One-one-one.
Speaker 4I had a child at a younger age as well. So I spent a lot of my 20s raising a toddler, mm-hmm and figuring out life with the toddler at that age, while I learnt very early on that, yes, I was a young mom, still in what I would say our Caribbean culture. I was 18 when I got pregnant, no 19 when I got pregnant, 20 when I had him, and I'm sure everyone expected a particular path for me. So me having a baby at that age was a big shot for a lot to people. But I don't I don't really have any regrets. Like I just use that time to figure out who I was as a mother, like you, figured out my relationship with my son's father and just different elements of my life, and understand why I want what I didn't want.
Speaker 4But one thing I learned very early was I did not give up being a young mom and Trying to continue to still cater to myself and live my life on the basis of you had a child. You're not allowed to do anything. I made it. I made it very, very clear to myself and the people around me that, like me, having a son Does not equate to me stopping my life, like I just had to find a balance and I think I did a good job of doing that.
Speaker 4So there's things that I know certain young mothers at the time, or whatever the age are at now that they didn't get to do or they missed out on or they skipped out, thinking like, oh you know, I can't do that because I have my child, or whatever. I didn't do that. So I don't really have a lot of regrets. So there's a lot of things I had to say no to, a lot of things I missed out on a lot of celebrations or just different, different things, like financially as well, like a Lot of things. I think financially would probably be the most that I had to give up, but I don't really regret it because there was a lot of things I got to do. So it's a little different.
Speaker 3We say road never stop.
Speaker 4No.
Speaker 3I like that.
Speaker 4In short form, nothing. Yeah, it's still. It's still funny. But I mean to be honest with you. He would. He would have probably been one of the primer people that didn't really enjoy that. I was still a very socially outgoing person, but that's also the essence of who I am like. I like human interaction.
Speaker 4I like human contact. I like you know, having solid friendships and celebrating life and celebrating people. People Translate that into different things because it may not necessarily align with them. It may not be what they think is A good way to live your life. So I've also accepted.
Speaker 3Yeah, they really be wanting women home, bro. Yeah, I would just go see, but you see, how she was a butterfly.
Speaker 2I went into the cocoon. You couldn't even find Case in point. Case in point.
Speaker 3Yeah, we really do people by there when we want. We want, like mothers are just me shut away. Yeah.
Speaker 2I'll never forget. I had my baby three weeks before graduation and when I walked in everybody was just like whispering and whatever. And I would like if there was a hole, that I would have jumped in, cuz I like my G. But I came back like a G on. A student taught to me nice, boom, I'm gonna be able to make it. You know they don't mean it'll mean that you Foolish or whatever. You know I'm a lover girl, guys when my heart on my sleeve.
Speaker 4Ooh-hoo, oh, four legs.
Speaker 6We're editing, yeah, here real quick up to the baby moms doing their thinking yeah, you got shot about support.
