Speaker 2Alright, just for you, Kisha, because last year we had a little roll with the.
Speaker 3Oh, why did they remix it?
Speaker 5God's saying run, it ain't no running up. I'm looking good when I praise and worship.
Speaker 3We're the men of God, Debbie. Getting bucks so clean, no way they going to hell just for that remix.
Speaker 2I mean, God, I wanna hear a little remix, you know what I mean, A little press point. You know what I mean? Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 3The Lord said come as you are. So who am I? Who am I to judge?
Speaker 2Yeah, who are you to judge?
Speaker 3And worship him how you see fit, amen.
Speaker 4There's a random, but anybody follows the Jamaica star page. No Good jokes. Huh yeah, they have one thing called Tell Me, Pastor. The title is tricked into doing anal sex for a car.
Speaker 2Oh man, first we just started at home, we just started at bars.
Speaker 3Oh, what car do you car? Let's just jump right into it.
Speaker 2What kind of car is this?
Speaker 4No, it doesn't say, but it has short little descriptions. I can read it. I've been talking to a man who's in his 70s. He owns a very popular studio. I was always against doing anal sex until we came to an agreement that if I did it with him he would buy me a car. This agreement was in March and we are now in September and he has not bought me the car. I feel like causing a scandal on him because he has not kept his word. She fell for that one.
Speaker 3So she's been given anal sex all this time without the car.
Speaker 2Yo get your goods and services up front first.
Speaker 3The first red flag was he's 70. No thanks, Keep your dry balls over there.
Speaker 2He's definitely done that. Before Shout out to the Jamaican stars yeah, real quick, let's get into it. Welcome to the Link Up podcast. Bought for another episode another week To my left, to my right. Let's go Rashad first. How you doing Rashad? What's up Rashad's?
Speaker 4here Hi good man Just staying busy working stuff Hi good man. October, halloween, october 28th.
Speaker 2Where is it? At Sandbar? What's the cost of getting no?
Speaker 425 early bird, then 35 regular.
Speaker 2See he's being so polite. He's supposed to have a lot to load it ready to go when they get it.
Speaker 4Oh yeah, Get it laid up, bro. That's true.
Speaker 2That's true, my mind you playing like Teen USA right now bro Trash, oh nah, not trash. Hi Keesha, how you doing.
Speaker 3Hi, I'm Wookiee. How are you?
Halloween Costume Planning for Miss Gay
Speaker 2Ski girl over there. Oh no, no, no. So you're the cover of Paul Luzer, right?
Speaker 3You what and what?
Speaker 2Your picture was the cover of the podcast, oh you know Aunt Mom, all the, all the. I got some DMs for you too. Oh wow, I didn't tell you what.
Speaker 3He damn.
Speaker 2They saw those things hanging up.
Speaker 3In my private era.
Speaker 2In your private era, all right. So I was with Jarrah my Jarrah joining us this week on the on the port. How you doing, jarrah.
Speaker 5Hey, thank you for having me.
Speaker 2I know Jarrah from long time Election days and stuff Like it was a long time ago.
Speaker 5We were over achievers, then Student council.
Speaker 2Student councils, actual general elections in the government. I know you from your last, your last job, Big, big final of the show. I guess you, you listen from day one, or yes? What episode you started out? Let me, let me see, let me get your text, the last one that I really listened to was no pressure.
Speaker 5With the Miss Gay man issue with the dress and Kisha talking about her experience with her pageant day. She's a pageant girlie. Hi, yes, Mom.
Speaker 2Yeah, Kisha was hating a little bit.
Speaker 3No, it wasn't, I was being real. People like to act like pottants are glitter and gold. They're noise.
Speaker 5It's a lot of logistics, a lot of money.
Speaker 2Because you have Miss Gay man experience too right.
Speaker 5Yes, I did the year with Lindsay Jopal. It was actually the biggest Miss Gay man group in Miss Gay man days. It was 10 of us.
Speaker 3This one wasn't heard of, so yeah, so those fights, those fights and academies was legendary.
Speaker 5What it's beyond that Like, at least for me entering as a Filipino-Kamanian. I got a lot of heat for that.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, yeah, I was around on Twitter on them days.
Speaker 5You know, I did interviews and me just even just something small, saying that I'm proud to be Filipino and Kamanian, and they're like, oh well, she should have joined Miss Philippines then. So everything was really taken, taken hard.
Speaker 2How did you do that? I mean because you read all that shit online. I mean you probably got the comments here. Your family and your friends, like people, come up and tell you about stuff.
Speaker 5It was a good experience. I mean, at least it gave me an honest opinion of a stranger's idea you know, not everybody's going to be nice to you and it really built some character.
Speaker 2Yeah, how old were you when you did Miss Gay man?
Speaker 5I was 23.
Speaker 3Oh so you did it, that's like an amazing age.
Speaker 5Yeah, a lot of the contestants that I did it with was around that age 23, 25. So everybody was established. They did some of the girls have like two degrees so it was daunting, but you know you learn so much from it. I'm sure Kisha can tell you it was a lot of preparation, yeah.
Speaker 2A lot of money being spent.
Speaker 5Yeah, so, lee, you entering. Miss Gay man, you have to have your own money.
Speaker 2Me and Rashad are starting a Miss Gay man project, right Rashad. No comment. Oh, cool, yeah, so a lot of money being spent.
Speaker 5Yeah.
Speaker 2We saw, I think as soon as we finished recording last week there was an issue that dropped with the Miss Gay man thing with like a dress issue.
Speaker 5Yes, so one of the previous contestants in 2021 claim it's the same dress, something about she was living with the committee and then with a committee member and the committee member gave the dress to the current winner. But it's a totally different dress it was. It was totally different, yeah. So, miss Gay man, committee commented on everything. 345, or sorry, came on Wispos.
Speaker 2Shout out to Azuko.
Speaker 5And clarified the situation. They got time, they had time. They said this is not the same dress. No committee member has given any dress to anybody.
Speaker 2We have receipts.
Speaker 5We have receipts.
Speaker 2We have receipts. Yeah, I can see that. I can see you're like just having a group on standby just in case to go out there and like do the online bottling for whatever's being said negatively about your product, about your pageant, for example. Right, rashad, that's something we can do, that when we start our project, we're going to get Kisha in the room and just give her like water and like some.
Speaker 3I am going to be a judge, so you need to get me in the room.
Speaker 4No me and Vic the judges. Yeah just on the two judges. So what?
Speaker 3So what am I?
Speaker 2You can have money. You can have money, you can have social media and just like combine.
Speaker 3Oh, okay, right Back admin.
Speaker 2Back office admin Right. Oh man, I was stupid. I'm sorry.
Speaker 4I kind of want backtrack a bit, because you asked me about Halloween and you have the Halloween Queen here.
Speaker 5I literally just looking through the video and I came across her pose. Yeah, I was just telling you that I am in the process of starting my well, I started my costume already. Oh wow, and I think someone commented on your Instagram saying I'm coming for that crowd.
Speaker 2Yeah, I saw that. Oh snap, they want a smoke, yeah, you want smoke girl you got it.
Speaker 5Okay, but no, I actually enter this Halloween thing because I love it.
Speaker 6Okay.
Speaker 5And and it's not to be honest people think that I just come up with that, like it's the stuff that I see, but nobody executes it.
Speaker 3It's it Right, okay, she's talking to it. It's the key, okay.
Speaker 2So if you can go with a big idea and that's the thing you commit like all the way. Was it? Was it last year? You were a big sweeper Of it.
Speaker 4That was last year Even the cover. That was. That was unbelievable.
Speaker 3I have, I have. I remember you was chicken noodle soup.
Speaker 4So, yeah, that was the first, that was 2019.
Speaker 5When you first had that first party.
Speaker 4She wanted two years running, though, yeah.
Speaker 5So yeah, you know, gotta defend my title.
Speaker 2I don't, I think. I think you mentioned that one day you sent on Twitter and thinking about you, you'd be like preparing like six months, eight months out, yeah.
Speaker 5So I come up with you know, you go through social media and then you're like, oh, this is going to be a good idea. I don't know how my brain operates, maybe the marketing brain on me like I make my notes and then, a year after it, just you, just execute.
Speaker 2Yeah, Did you? Did you ever do them and think like mind, you want me like the plan B costume or whatever?
Speaker 5No, I did one year when I won Rashard's first party. I did three costumes. I did the cup noodles and then I went to Kibana.
Speaker 2That was nobody. Nobody was there. I was gonna say, is that racist? But I guess it's not right Cause she's Asian.
Speaker 5That's the funny part of it. Come on, I can pull it off cause I'm Asian Right. That's why.
Speaker 2I felt like, but I feel, is it wrong to laugh though?
Speaker 5Cause. No, it's not wrong to laugh. That's a whole purpose.
Speaker 4I still think the VIX the VIX one were brilliant. I didn't even came on. You know, they tell you every time no one touch, no one touch. Yeah, that one touch.
Speaker 5But that's the thing that's. That's one of the. I guess I'm going to let one secret out.
Speaker 2No, I don't tell you a secret. Come after the after you, after you perform.
Speaker 5No, I mean it's. I guess I give everybody fair game that girl may be listening.
Speaker 2We don't want her to get no, no, no advantage.
Speaker 5If you listen to this, I'm giving you fair game. Okay, so you have to get a costume, like I always tell myself what a fellow Filipino I'm sure Kim Agnes would get that costume, but what a fellow Filipino get this? Somebody probably from the States or something. I want it to be everybody who gets the costume. So you know I'm not going to go as some. You know only relatable to one person. So that's always the thought process.
Speaker 2Do you still have those vapor rope causing?
Speaker 5No, I threw it away.
Speaker 2It was a put out in like a like a museum bro.
Speaker 4Trying to figure out how to do the costume. Competition has what has been killing me, though, because it does take some time and it does take away from the party, so we try and figure out a smoother way to go about it Then what.
Speaker 5Yeah, I haven't figured that out yet you probably have to do it in sequence. I feel like last year it was just go like one period and it was a little longer than regular, so you probably have to kind of break it down, but then again it came in late actually.
Speaker 4So that's the reason we don't keep it early, because we want to make sure people that want to enter actually show up.
Speaker 5But that's the thing you do it last.
Speaker 4We are doing something different this year because normally we would just say if you want to come up to the side of the stage. But we're not doing that this year. We're going to do a. Well, the thought is to do a random raffle, but all the people that won last year gets automatically entered again.
Speaker 5That's nice.
Speaker 4Yeah, so that would be like one part and then we move on to the competition side of things to hopefully break it up smaller and then keep the party, keep the vibe up and whatnot.
Speaker 5Yeah.
Speaker 4I can see, we know, we know, figure it out.
Speaker 5Your parties are always good, so I I reserve my costume to yours. I appreciate it. And I'm not just saying that because I'm here, because a couple of years I did three costumes and two were wasted.
Speaker 4So we try and take the prizes to our next level too. So we'll yeah, we'll see, but we can come up with.
Speaker 5Yeah, hopefully I'm not retiring. I'm actually. I'm actually thinking of giving away one of my ideas to my friends because it's a couple of costume and I want to do costume on my own, so I won't be able to use the costume.
Speaker 2You only know my whole in you.
Speaker 5Maybe Rashad, if you want to use the costume, go get your title.
Speaker 2That's right.
Speaker 4No, because, imagine, I use the costume no, and I win. They can say it rigged, it's rigged.
Speaker 3You cannot win, you cannot win.
Speaker 4Because what if my face covered and nobody don't know?
Speaker 3Also, you think you're the last singer.
Speaker 2No, you listen during the event Fucking Scooby-Doo called villain.
Speaker 3Who could it be?
Living Costs and Financial Advice
Speaker 2Let's get into it real quick. Oh man, we talked about something like this lightheartedness because all the others should have been too serious. High cost of living article people even came on. You're in finance, right? Yes, you see a lot of spending.
Speaker 5I advise every day to, especially if a young K-Manyan comes in, and because it's tough to see them out there, you know, in mounting debts, and at least if you make a difference for one person, that day, at least I've done my job and young K-Manyans out here is love to go to Miami.
Speaker 4I mean, they love to go to events too. Are we taking out notes?
Speaker 3to go to Miami, guys no.
Speaker 4Of course, of course people doing?
Speaker 2Of course we are.
Speaker 2Yes, man Check the union, of course, of course, we are of course so brought it up because it comes out a good article talking about the high cost of living. And you know, I guess this couple in particular felt the need to. Let's pack it up, let's look elsewhere, let's probably try to take advantage of you know other jurisdictions that you know we can probably live a more comfortable, better life. And it also ties into the whole minimum wage debate right now is going on. Hopefully I think they're wrapping up the report and the exercise of going around. It just came and brought, had like a Q&A session, so it's on the forefront of everybody's mind. You know what six dollars can get you per hour for those who make minimum wage, and just also in terms of the prices for things. Oh, I got my CUC bill as well.
Speaker 4No, mine came down.
Speaker 3Yeah, I was went down by $50.
Speaker 4But with six dollars an hour they can get into buying in top and buying some drinks. Oh my God, You're failing.
Speaker 5Six dollars an hour is like a coffee.
Speaker 4Or an apple tonic. I'm crazy.
Speaker 3Just what a vine in the pot right by the time you add grats and all that. The way is to not take it all.
Speaker 2I think that was with the company's article. You saw actual photo of six dollars or five and a one. When you think about them, you see that visual and it's like yo you working 40 hours for that a week. No wait six dollars an hour, right, no, six dollars a week, sorry. No, I'm saying sorry, six dollars for 40, 40 hours, sorry.
Speaker 5And people who make minimum wage still has to pay rent. They definitely don't have mortgage, I can tell you that, and they don't even qualify, but rent is crazy.
Speaker 4I can't blame the landlord. If you can get it, get it. You feel me, if you can get it, get it, because when I want a landlord, yeah, I will get in it. So I kind of contributed to the problem, but hey, I'm no longer one anymore.
Speaker 2So you're free now. I'm free now You've seen the light. You've changed A lot of work. You know what I mean. For the most part, though, it's the market. What the expenses are is what someone next door is charging, and that sort of dictates the game. I don't know. I just don't know how people are all here functioning, Like it's on my bill this week and I was like yo, mind you, I had a kid at home, so you know every fucking light on and I was every TV, this, that in the fridge. Just I don't know. I mean, obviously I'm not, I'm not, you know, hurting, but I can imagine what others are going through out there. It's not using a 700 of CDC bill or whatever. My bill is 697. Oh, I think I'm right there with you, Like 660.
Speaker 3So I would have a hard to talk. I've never seen a bill.
Speaker 5So let me give you a context.
Speaker 2No, no, no, get it twisted. I'm not biasing CDC. I know we spend no definitely.
Speaker 5We had every light on every AC.
Speaker 2I tell you my bill right now 480. No-transcript. I mean, my bill is normally like three something, so for me it's a how you get from three something to seven something.
Speaker 3That doubled big.
Speaker 2Hair body home in the summer, bro.
Speaker 3Well, we got some cutting back Gasses going up. You know what I mean.
Speaker 4I guess not a benefit. I guess not a benefit of billing the walls out of playwood or sheet rock cooler, it's cool.
Speaker 5When you call CUC they also tell you like if you have an old central unit. That's the reason why that burns a lot of energy. So Maybe, maybe not, but I personally believe they have a schedule. So they know that June, july are high bills, so they're just gonna free range and and charge you whatever they feel like and then when they think it's cooler, like now August Then they reduce the schedule.
Speaker 3I like that theory.
Speaker 2So, yeah, I mean, you see me recovering all the time, I guess, trying to get financing. I mean, what is, what is some of the, I guess, the trends you're seeing right now and then how, I guess what you well, I just say, advise people, but you have to realize that you can't blame them either they need it.
Speaker 4They need it for sure, you know, but depends on the reason that I need it, but that's the thing.
Speaker 3I was just about saying I'm not talking about my amatrisks. That is not a need.
Speaker 2First, brawl concert.
Speaker 3I use my good, hard-earned money.
Speaker 4I was talking about you, right? No, but some people, I feel some people definitely may have taken out a quick express for all but I mean, you can't afford to go, so stay your ass home. I mean they can't afford living above me? They can afford it. They just got paid by that is not Affording.
Speaker 5No, they've they spend in their future money. Yeah, the future money's been spent right now.
Speaker 2But I have this experience in a lot of your lifestyle.
Speaker 3I don't got my picks for the ground and then, when you come back home, you pain for it for 12 months for something that will happen for three days.
Speaker 5It's three years. Most of them pay for it still.
Speaker 3That's 36 months for something to happen in three days. No, but you came in to help your money. I did. You told me that Chris and I work my ass off and I meet my money.
Speaker 2You didn't even wear a bra to the concert. I'll free and right because I guess I come out and I know pain no.
Speaker 3Loan. I live in my life and I get ready to go. We went next month Su-woo.
Speaker 4Kisha Performer. She forget the performance, or it's so?
Speaker 3Imagine. Imagine take out loan to do that. Imagine don't want to tell me.
Speaker 4But people's. But some people need to do it. They won't see Chris Brown.
Speaker 3No, find something else that make you happy, go outside touch some grass. The seven mile beach, the beautiful beaches that they envy guys. Yesterday, as a matter of fact, watch the sunset, so the green light and everything beautiful.
Speaker 4I don't think I've been there for this year. But September, you loser, I do not. I do not like the beach. Oh, okay, okay, let me, let me, let me change that. If the land just went straight to the water and we eliminate all sun. I feel you on the sun bar, but then you also have the sun and, yeah, just going to PM but yo Son too hot for the be so go nine months I was this year with no.
Speaker 2No, that's, that's why. But how people are spending thousands of nights to be here, to come and get on the beach bro.
Speaker 4Yeah, I have a great time. I have a great time I'm not going out there. The sun hot and then sun. When you get home you think you don't have no.
Speaker 2You just came on.
Speaker 4You take off your take off your swim pants, you take off your boss.
Speaker 3Oh, but you got. You got blue boat. Natural that explains a lot. Look at you, I have I have a uk Book now, oh but then your primary, so it don't matter came on, my primary I just what?
Speaker 4what? What is the joy in going to the beach? You go to the beach. What do you?
Speaker 3mean it's relaxing. You listen to the waves you could. You can snorkel away video on youtube. No, no, no digital and god's nature Come on. Rashad, it does not compare.
Speaker 4It does not compare, go you, I just you have exactly how I started this go outside and touch some grass. No, I'm not taking him to the beach. No, he eat. Oh my he's been having Literally. Then I got come back and beat him. I think about all these things and I'm like so why are you a pen owner?
Speaker 3then If you don't do a lot, all of it comes with this territory.
Speaker 2We be going for walks and I feel it's getting a little talk is right.
Speaker 4Here we be going for walks and drives and stuff. He don't need to go to the beach. He don't even know the beach is. That's sad.
Speaker 3No, he's in prison.
Speaker 4He will. He will go to the beach with his uncle, chris. Chris will take him to my car.
Speaker 2He needs a say in this.
Speaker 4See, he'd live in life right now inside.
Speaker 5I love the beach. I just recently learned how to swim, oh wow.
Speaker 3Congrats. I don't know.
Speaker 4I don't know this light skinned people love the beach.
Speaker 3Oh no, don't you do this. I'm jealous technically.
Speaker 5Here, you do not indulge him.
Speaker 3You're yellow. I said.
Speaker 4That's racist too, but it's true light skinned people like the beach.
Speaker 5But you know, I I grew up in a city in the Philippines, so it wasn't like how you guys, where you started from young you get thrown off in georgetown and then you used to sink or swim, right.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Which is? Which is child abuse, by the way?
Speaker 5But hey, they learn, so I didn't get but hey, they learn.
Speaker 3Yeah, they do, hey, they learn. My mom didn't throw us, but she did something equally as.
Speaker 2I want to try this on all on her.
Speaker 5No I could swim, boy. You know, I recently Know how to swim. Well, I still need goggles. I can't open my eyes, oh underwater.
Speaker 2So I have to have goggles how often you go to the beach, huh.
Speaker 5We try every week and my partner and I, I was like oh wow say partner, it sounds responsible Um we try to go at least every weekend. Okay, no, let's go. And he's not light skinned Rashad, no, I know.
Speaker 2I know Rashad being racist one. Um, so prejudice someone here, whatever. So what somebody earlier said, jair Lou, like somebody at whatever the place, was right and he looked over and he was like, for sure, I thought this was.
Speaker 4It wasn't me.
Speaker 2The jurors won't my saying we all look alike, or something she said, or what did you know?
Speaker 3She was actually very sweet about it, but don't be late.
Speaker 5No, I'm getting to. What did you? And I said Filipinos. Filipinos also think that we Okay others look alike.
Speaker 2Okay, okay. Um, there's a. How do you, how do you do it with that Like?
Speaker 5It happens to me a lot, so I could imagine I don't blame you. So you could like if I have a dollar for every single one. There was even a funny Instances when I used to play flag. Is this okay to talk about?
Speaker 2Of course, um. We're sorry to play flag too, somebody was upset Me.
Uncomfortable Conversation About Relationships and Parties
Speaker 5And there was just really she was really upset and girl something about somebody stealing her man, and then so I flag drama for. And then I said and then one girl asked me like hey, what's your problem with this particular girl? And I said she must have been mistaken me for for a wrong Filipino, because I don't know her mind. But apparently it was me. So yeah, that was so fun. Um, she was upset because her husband at the time went to Chill, chill, chill.
Speaker 5Her husband. At the time she she said that her husband went to my birthday party.
Speaker 2Oh it's their anniversary. He won a little dim sum.
Speaker 5I hope she was.
Speaker 4He went to your birthday on their anniversary and their anniversary he is wilding.
Speaker 5Yeah, he was so, yeah, and she was upset.
Speaker 2He was dark skin.
Speaker 4that's right, yes, he had to be an Indian.
Speaker 3Does it matter? All of you are dark skin.
Speaker 4No, they're brown, they're brown.
Speaker 3And I get an intercolor. No, but I'd be serious. What am I? Will you class me?
Speaker 4Tisha came on him. No, but serious, when I, when I went to Canada, that's what all of them were like brown people, that's what they call.
Speaker 2This all feels very uncomfortable. Oh right you in HR.
Speaker 3Well, where is when is HR? She would have our ass right now. Oh no, better be politically correct.
Speaker 2I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, jared, all right, so do's my. Had an anniversary. Yes, what kind of party were you throwing that? He said fuck my anniversary, I'm gonna go to your party.
Speaker 5I know right, it was, you know, in holiday in them.
Speaker 2Sorry, babe, I I got work tonight.
Speaker 4So what it was before Ramada, grand Kimania yeah it was all of them.
Speaker 2Jared how you giving it up, one kind of part of you? How in?
Speaker 4a holiday in blood when I parted on there. Is you, yes, the crazy?
Speaker 5part I I didn't know, see. This is why the whole public thing is not you know, doesn't take to me anymore, because Remember, at a time you had instagram and it was only exclusive for iPhones, and you just keep adding girls. That was that. And then one of her takes was she knew we had something going on. I met this man like on Instagram, and that was it.
Speaker 2So it wasn't real.
Speaker 5It wasn't real at all. Yeah, and she said I was her man's mistress because he was commenting on my instagram photos.
Speaker 2Philippine she was. She was scared to threat, bro, you know, she heard boy y'all, it's, it's, it's out there. Yeah, she heard what I played, this and that Egan is the sir.
Speaker 3Oh just say, they very sweet, ladies.
Speaker 2Yeah, mom, mom miss mom.
Speaker 5It's called. It's not miss ma'am, it's actually sir, ma. Maybe you're Not. It's like a unisex thing where sir, mom is sir and ma'am so it. So you know.
Speaker 3Whatever you decide you who you are? Oh my god, I'm a benna headed again.
Speaker 4I hate this game.
Speaker 2So jarrett, it was her mind. Okay, got it. Yeah, it was our man, oh.
Speaker 4Oh my god, oh, no wonder she was that. He probably told her where the party was.
Speaker 5I know I mean she must knew about it.
Speaker 2Right, she was flagged us burning a whole game.
Speaker 5She is basically like shouting at me at flog on this time, where everybody maybe Rashad and all of them were playing and she was just shouting and the mind is just standing there.
Speaker 2You were there too, he wasn't defending like.
Speaker 5He wasn't like saying, oh, this is not true, but he knew probably she wasn't gonna stop.
Speaker 4So oh my god, he played flag too.
Speaker 5He played flag before. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2My love drama your team too.
Speaker 4Dang they saw my been a while. No, oh, okay, it's been a while yeah. All right, I have to get out the. I have to get out the scene. Too much, too much drama.
Social Media Drama and Miscommunication Discussions
Speaker 3I was never my scene. I used to go play my game a nigga's older.
Speaker 4Watch, I watch. I know here we go again. Well, thanks, what's it all the race?
Speaker 3but I like to, I like to go out there and watch. You know, a little banter, little socials honey. Like to watch what's a play Uh-huh, I am very competitive.
Speaker 5Yeah, most of girls that I know. Thank you that I have a little bit of riff with or had Came from flag and that's the thing.
Speaker 3Came onions. Like they just hold a grudge over stupidness. Like you imagine, you come into my big big work job and you hold in a grudge over something that flag. Okay huh.
Speaker 4You need me, I don't need you. Babe Kisha, I pretty sure mine still be from me from when I played football.
Speaker 3That's sad Because it been years that you know been on the field like years. That is very that's loser behavior.
Speaker 4That one is still stupid specific team to see that shit.
Speaker 2That one is still there, though Y'all are not children anymore. I'm watching Richard. I try to be a parent to his dog.
Speaker 6I'm going to demonstrate less and less tolerance. A week and a half ago, I turned 50. I don't have any time in my life for bullshit, and this is where it's at. Every single day, I get up and I help people in this fucking country.
Speaker 2I get. They need me. I get nothing for it.
Speaker 6In most cases, I get no fucking thanks from you. I'm grateful, son of a bitches. You fucking bitches and assholes listen to me good today and for you guys to sit down and talk bullshit about. I don't want to help a child who's in need In this fucking country, when that could have been my own daughter. She was born a preemie. My heart goes out to children every fucking day in this country. That's why I speak up about child abuse. You bitches touching people's children. I tell you by your asses every single day and you have the audacity to tell me I only care about scandalous stuff. That's all I'm gonna use my platform for it. Don't fuck with me today or any other blood clot day.
Speaker 2Oh my Richard, what you upset, only about former me.
Speaker 4I don't even go on that page, boy. I didn't. I did that the first time I hear, not like I saw it, but I didn't, I didn't watch it.
Speaker 2I Was like he's a fuming over there.
Speaker 4Yeah, river, or most of the stuff she poses Shit and negative.
Speaker 2never forget, let me let me she does have her little times where she was gonna say let me tell devils I have to get here if y'all don't go on. It's like, is it, that just a scandalous stuff makes his way around.
Speaker 4Okay, I like because.
Speaker 2I be saying birthday greens and shit, hmm.
Speaker 3Listen, listen, listen. Cut the BS a Vic. You know what you are asking. She poses things in a specific way to draw a specific audience, from the caption to what she posting, like just, and she don't care because why? The moral road where there's smoke, there's fire, it don't go. So it just got go, something like so. And our Kimanians love gossip, so they go entertain the fucker.
Speaker 2It's disgusting, felt it on my chest, me so fucker.
Speaker 3It's disgusting.
Speaker 4I need to stop engaging with that.
Speaker 3And I need to stop engaging with that. It's negative that way. She not going away, she crane, and I help you out like Up to no you going her page. She's still not post a baby.
Speaker 4Keep still page. No, how you know?
Speaker 3because I got. Pay attention, she cranes. I won't understand what happening. It's foolishness. She not posting to help nobody. She posting to be negative. If you want help, help. Y'all.
Speaker 2Can't say there's a way to do that. She does help in some cases.
Speaker 3So well, it's getting overshadowed by the negative shit that she posts and the negative audience that she's drawing. You can say that, then and I'm engaging in it, so I'm just as fucking negative.
Speaker 5So I actually. I actually listen to her show Because I like to also listen, to be fair.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Speaker 5You know, I definitely Agree, we should help. If you want to help, you just help right Apparently. There was a miscommunication that when One of the child's godparent message moral road, it was the assumption was the baby lived in canada.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 5Yeah, and that she was saying that what has to got to do with came on and apparently there is a social media manager. She doesn't handle her social media because they're just overwhelming. And when the girls saw the message the social media manager they assumed the baby was in canada, the family was in canada. So the reach, her sandra, played a voice note and said you know canada, you will get more Help in canada if you posted in canada's channels. So she said well, find out to see if the baby has came on ties, but right now, let them deal with it in canada. We're helping so much people. So it's it's again I. For me, it's a case of miscommunication and it's just one of those unfortunate things because a child is involved.
Speaker 2Yeah, definitely, you know. Your heart goes out to the child and to the parents and family members who are affected by that, for sure. The issue then morphs into something different, for which is this person is, in their eyes, trying to help Kim on. So I can kind of understand when something may occur there may be a miscommunication, there may be a will not to want to help, or there could be a lot of different things. But I'm looking at strictly her frustration in terms of because we've seen it before. We've seen where people think they're doing a service to someone or for someone and their efforts are being ignored. And when I saw her crying and just like cursing, wow, she from town, so that's the town. You know what. You know what that is behind that. That is a lot of hurt and pain behind that. So I just thought it was interesting. It's just one of those things that we, you know, over the last couple of days I took place in Go ahead, sorry.
Speaker 4No, she wasn't just calling a 14 year old girl, a girl that's a thing right your track record.
Speaker 5sometimes your, your intention might be good, but because your track record is like crying wolf yeah, you know you, you can't have it both ways, you can't have it both ways?
Speaker 4Granted. This might this might sound bad, but that was actually very hilarious the backing for it, like the videos. I saw it the 14 year old. It was funny on both parts, but it was like it was bad overall. But I did I won't lie, I did laugh.
Speaker 2Oh, the jokes have to fly for sure.
Speaker 3She can't be crying that she won't change and not engaging in change. She aparted a problem. She is a part of the problem.
Speaker 2But the people are wrong too. Because you can't reach out for some water for help, and then, because it didn't help you in the time that you wanted, then say, yo, this shit is a bunch of trash. Yes, and then they said which one is it as well. Everybody here is fucking up.
Speaker 4No, but we also got blame Some of the other pages that will post it up, because that's how I saw it. Some of the other pages will screen, record and post some of these things. So but why were laughing just now? Because I remembered when the girl had turned on her camera.
Speaker 3He was lying. Could you just done?
Speaker 2And it was Sorry, jerry. You're gonna say before Sorry, sorry, my bad.
Speaker 5No, no, I mean, like I said, it's a this is a unfortunate situation. But I have to also agree with key chef. You're just gonna help, just help, you know, and what you do after is the most important part.
Speaker 2But you know she's gonna get views too right. I mean, that's, that's her, I guess her brain. You know you're in marketing and are used to being marketing. Sorry, I'm not sure you still in marketing. So no, okay, it's amazing to me too, how many people think that people are actually running these accounts. No, you know, I'm speaking to John, I'm speaking to Chris or whatever. Whoever it is. So nah, she was your social media person. She has a team?
Speaker 5Yeah, and a small team, but she has a team.
Speaker 2And it's the good and bad of her branding, because her branding is associated her Osmoir road, when in fiat, when in fact it's probably a small collective of people.
Speaker 5Yeah, sorry, and they have to have a team because you know people get blocked or they they report the page. So there's different logistics to to running a social media, so she need to have a team overseas.
Speaker 2Especially overseas. For what? For law purposes?
Speaker 3Pretty much. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2Yeah, she said that she was personal. Sorry Yo, you follow Dionne Prime. Yeah, his stuff that he's been doing is like super motivational. No prime legitimate, oh, legitimate Prime is like awesome.
Speaker 7It's our house, man, look around, what's up? Ain't nobody whooping us at the crib. I don't know what kind of man what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up. What kind of man would let somebody come in his house and work? I don't know where you all come from. Where I come from. Ain't nobody coming in your house. Ain't nobody coming to your street. Ain't nobody coming to your block. Ain't nobody coming to your crib. That's going to work for you Understand. You know why. It's personal, it's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's person, it's personal, it's personal.
Speaker 2You don't get height when you hear a deal on top, bro, no man.
Speaker 4I listen to him in the morning sometimes.
Speaker 2I'm sorry. I just thought about Sandra taking that personal one, so I just thought about close by.
Speaker 5Even here she has a preemie baby.
Speaker 2so yeah, it struck a nerve.
Speaker 5It struck a little bit of a nerve but you know, let me check on my keys.
Speaker 2So how you doing keys. So come on keys. I can be high.
Speaker 5She's not a fan.
Speaker 2She said keys should be getting height.
Speaker 5I am baring.
Speaker 2I love him. He said be high. I'm baring Keys should be high, no, I don't like the foolishness man.
Speaker 3You can't play two sides and expect to get no unfair gameplay. What, twice course, was it cartel? No, lisa, lisa, high, you get the point. Yeah, you can be playing both sides of the fence. Either you stand for something or you go for everything. So in my books she just know.
Speaker 5It's something.
Speaker 3What is it that you're fighting for at this point? I don't know, I can't tell. What is she doing? Okay?
Speaker 2So I'm gonna enlighten me. I can see that. Yeah, because sometimes I think your personal mission or objective can become overshadowed. And know it looks as if you're. No, I don't say wishy-washy, but what am I really accomplishing here?
Speaker 3She can't tell me nothing. She came and told me that the sky blue. I would never believe nothing that she see.
Speaker 2A lot of mercy. This all stemmed too After we finished recording. Last week there was reports coming out of a teacher hitting a child, kicking a child, and I think that's where it kind of set off that trend for the week, which the school system had to come out and say, yo, we're investigating it and we're gonna get to the bottom of it and hopefully you get some information soon rather than later. I think what the issues with the blogs is that they arrive and they automatically put the ladies picture, put a pertainee poster there, which is, I think, probably it's a breach of privacy.
Complexity of Accusations and Social Media
Speaker 2Not the best thing to be doing because of you. Gotta let these cases play out. I had a job working with youth and we knew how serious one accusation could be against you, and not just it could be detrimental to somebody's livelihood.
Speaker 3And that'd be my thing. Like, what is her intent? You post that up about the person no, like all right, they livelihood already in jeopardy because of the situation. Now you insert yourself, you blasted all over social media for what? Then? No, god forbid, something happened to this woman, detrimental, and no, and then what? Yeah, you did that. You hold that. You walk with that, because what was your intent? The people around that needed to know what happened about the incident are closer than her, so they would report to whoever they needed to. She don't need to come and blast it forever. That have not to do with me. I don't care about what happened in that prospect primary. We all do respect my son. Don't go there. So the information.
Speaker 2Nah, but hold on, no, no, no. Let me finish. If we do have a child, let me finish.
Speaker 3The outlets that needed to have that information, yeah, but she shouldn't have been the first to jump on and be like when the information trickled down now and I get it, then yeah, fine, but let the police and everybody do their investigation first.
Speaker 2No, you're going to insert yourself, put out names and all these things, but I think that comes from a point of mistrusting the authorities, because these things have happened before. You've seen a situation where a principal was alleged to be doing what Voodoo and like what's the word? Exorcisms on children?
Speaker 5Like exorcism on children.
Speaker 2And that shit goes quiet. So I do think that we also help create this sort of rogue actor, this sort of vigilante justice, because the authorities that you want to put your trust into have perhaps fell by the wayside.
Speaker 3But at what cost? It has to be like per situation. You can't just apply one big bondade on everything. It's per situation. This situation was sensitive. Use your discernment.
Speaker 5Also pick your own Bottles, pick your own battles and pick your goal, because it's For me. Sometimes I feel like it's. She posted it quickly because of exclusivity and like the quickness of I'm the first one that posted this type of information.
Speaker 3So no integrity, then you don't care about the details.
Speaker 5There's no you know, like background done. But I think also she knows who she can pick on, because when I was working for Subway Ironclad, if Remember, there was a lady that was like passing out making a sandwich like last year or a couple years back they thought that was here. No, because there was a lot of old people in Subway. Yeah, and the owners of subway just sent a quick season. Yeah, cause I that went into subway already. But the good part about it is that she knew not to press on that particular people.
Speaker 3So she knew not to poke the bear.
Speaker 5That's the thing. So I think also it you have to pick. Either you are for the people but you're poking also to the people that they can't fight for themselves. So it's like that's why a lot of people are upset and confused, because either you're going to be Rob and hood, that you're just really helping for people, or you're going to be really the big bad wolf.
Speaker 2Okay, so since I got you here on Jera, can we talk about this Rubus commercial that you did?
Speaker 5Sure, it's everywhere.
Speaker 2Why the fuck was the audio so bad, with the words on the face on the screen? Why?
Speaker 3are you smiling?
Speaker 2Why are you smiling If you stop smiling?
Speaker 3Oh, I know, I just listening, oh my.
Speaker 5God, Well one. I was given a script and I had to memorize, and I don't know if it's my penal Bay accent that was messing up or the way it was edited. Yeah, but good, good I cause then.
Speaker 3an average person doesn't recognize that I thought my wife, I was laughing at something. No wait.
Speaker 5Cut it out, but I had fun doing it, but I wish it matched the sound for sure.
Speaker 2Yeah, okay, I thought it was just me at first and I saw it. I was like wait a minute.
Speaker 5No, I saw that too.
Speaker 3You could maybe go back and watch it, because I didn't recognize it.
Speaker 2Oh, just watch a YouTube video where you go pop up.
Speaker 5I was a little mere actress for the commercial.
Speaker 2And why did your friend let out those? You're going to take the money and disappear, I mean, I mean money moves, like they say money moves real quick, real quick. The you saw this gender reveal plane crash.
Speaker 3Oh my gosh no.
Speaker 2Couple of Mexico's having a gender reveal and the plane flew over. As a plane flew over, like the wing, like collapse.
Speaker 4You saw, it's always a yeah yeah, yeah, so I don't, so I don't Twitter.
Speaker 3What were they having?
Speaker 5It was pink, but they didn't even know. They said if you read through the polls on Instagram the people that was celebrating. They didn't know that the plane crash until a couple hours after hours. Oh my goodness, Because the plane crash maybe further away. Oh wait.
Speaker 2So they weren't. No, but I, when you watch the video, you see the, you see the wing like lift up but he was twisting and turning so they thought it was part of the theatrics.
Speaker 8Damn.
Speaker 5No, sir, but if you read through the couple posts about it, it was our, so they discovered that person.
Speaker 2Your kid is sort of like marred with that.
Speaker 3Yeah memory.
Speaker 2Yeah, that what supposed to be a joyous occasion, yeah, but they said out about these gender reveals. That is being like really extreme and we probably need to like kind of cool them up.
Speaker 3Dial it back a little.
Speaker 5What happened to just going to the doctor and figuring it out?
Speaker 4Yeah, gender reveals like just become like a like a fad yeah.
Speaker 3Like maybe in the last couple of years, it's a lot of things like that, the push gift push gift from post baby move baby. Yeah, baby moon is a new thing for sure From proposals Baby. That the only reason I would get pregnant to be, baby. What yeah Wine? And dining wine and dining pregnant us. Yep, my titties would just be wine and dining us would be drinking. Right, and then my little pregnant. I could drink a virgin pina colada while I'm getting massage.
Speaker 5But they did say you can drink.
Speaker 3No, I shouldn't say that you can drink.
Speaker 2But, disclaimer they got some wine or so, yeah, yeah, and they are a kid coming out a little bit of here. You know, why would you even?
Speaker 3Oh my, goodness, why would you say that? Well, my keys, my keys. Well, lucky for me, the shop is locked. Ceo of a one and done crew.
Speaker 2That's not a lot that dude come through with the money 12 years strong.
Speaker 5It's always those people that say it's locked.
Speaker 3Then you, your body, will surprise you, not even God himself, could come now and unlock this key.
Speaker 2Since you're talking about relationships, real quick, jera. You had a post that was interesting. People are liars. Rashad, real quick your personal dating. Do they have to make more money than you?
Speaker 4No, you can make. They can make whatever they want, and that is a prime example of liars right there.
Speaker 5Liar, liar liar, liar, liar.
Speaker 2Read the question. Read the question.
Speaker 5My poll says does your boyfriend and girlfriend salary matter while you're dating? Give him the option. Option one yes, they got to make at least close to your salary. Option two yes, they got to make more than you. Option three no, I only want their time and effort.
Speaker 4I like the last one.
Speaker 5Oh wait.
Speaker 3Rashad shut up. No, that is a lie, guys. Rashad is lying. He likes to be winding down.
Speaker 2I saw your steak social post Right.
Speaker 5And you can be or no. So you're back on good terms with steak social. I don't forget Rashad.
Speaker 4Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, I went there one day and it was for my daughter's birthday. The service was exceptional. They must have remembered me as soon as we came in, seeded, drinks brought. We got some extra stuff too, Along with the meal and whatnot. And yeah, every time I go there after that it's been a good time.
Speaker 5And hats off for you for posting it too, though.
Speaker 3Because then we remember it was such a sensitive time, right? You were the reason I didn't go enough. So now that I know you've gone, gone a couple of times and enjoyed, now I could go.
Speaker 4I know a couple of people well, have it. I have not gone because of you. But no, my bar to Jarrah question no, seriously, I don't really care. I don't really care what they make. You just can't be a bum. You got to be at least doing something Like, yeah, you got to be doing something.
Speaker 2She may be like she may get $1,600 and what it's coming in strong.
Speaker 4Yeah, if you're making something like as long as you're not doing like foolishness with it, like if you're not wasting it, then yeah, we be fine.
Speaker 2No way I'm gonna trip saying no, no, no, no.
Speaker 4Fuck that, fuck that.
Speaker 2How much people lie to you. You said how much percent 48%, big bad liars.
Speaker 4Wait said what.
Speaker 5That they just want time and effort.
Speaker 2I'm not gonna lie you can't play CS with time and effort, no more money than me.
Speaker 3You need to come with your money and be making more than me. Remember I keep just $300.
Speaker 4How it go oh $350,000.
Speaker 3Right.
Speaker 5I've been in different sides of that. That's why I posted the question. Oh no, I'm not entertaining.
Speaker 3Nobody for time and effort, and I need time, effort and money.
Speaker 5Listen, I had I had boyfriends who will give you time and effort, will give you time and effort 150%.
Speaker 2But not on a logic build.
Speaker 5I am the one foot in the bill you can get. You get tired of it first year because you're all in honeymoon.
Speaker 2Oh, you're a queen.
Speaker 5My love language is gifting, so I just want to show what I'm giving. No, you're going to get tired of it, you're going to get miserable in the relationship and then you're going to be like I'm out, talk to your shit queen, let them know. I think it's sustainable to at least pay for your own way. At the very least we can go on trips. You pay for you, you pay for me, I pay for you. Sometimes I not just getting birthday card for my birthdays, at least I get these costal lunches.
Speaker 2You need to spend a couple of racks on it.
Speaker 5And I'm a good giftor.
Speaker 2So if you can at least make a half way of that, I think you might be a good gift or for real People who say that they use the R.
Speaker 3I think I'm a good gift, or I just so I can be a good gift, or I know Jerry a good gift or a lot of, like your food posts and beauty posts and stuff. I always check them out. Thank you very much, so she can get, because she no, I never only said food, like products and stuff that she recommends on her page, like they're really good. You know, when it's snacks I go pick up because of Dara.
Speaker 4You know why do I?
Speaker 3do or little tips and tricks.
Speaker 4I honestly just ask. I just ask people what they want. Well, for gifts, yes, what do you want?
Speaker 3Typically you can't ask me that I prefer that you give me a gift card, because if you bring me the wrong thing, i'ma let you know that I don't like it.
Speaker 2Oh, we know you don't like it, but that that are you know that don't join church.
Speaker 4That are the reason you ask to avoid it.
Speaker 3I ask for a gift card, just, I will tell you the range I mean some of these little Instagram posts be like.
Speaker 4You'll see some little sponsored ad with some like small, like cute little gifts and stuff that I will pop up. I might grab a little one too.
Speaker 3Oh, my mother bought me one, but that because she know there's a certain symbol, so I use the anchor that symbolizes my son. He holds me down. So she bought me one of those little those little, but you still buying gifts.
Speaker 5That's the thing. Right Like you're still spending. We're talking about time and effort.
Speaker 3I don't want to bring it back.
Speaker 2I don't want to cheat boys on the bus.
Speaker 5Like I don't want a guy driving my car. Are you mad? Are you mad Because he's giving me time and effort, because all the guys is calling him.
Speaker 4You show me love, that's all you show me love.
Speaker 3Let me get you your key shop. Nobody not driving and I drive a Honda. Get beer gel number you mother want me, to Me too. I drive a Honda. That's foolishness. I don't care, no man not driving up and down in my car.
Speaker 2Which one you should drive up and down in my car?
Speaker 3No, man, not driving up and down in my car, you're not clean man.
Speaker 4Once a girl in love, you can take that car.
Speaker 2Let me drop you where I got something.
Speaker 4I got something Next thing you know, you gotta call your car her west.
Speaker 3That reach you. You be driving up and down the gala car. I don't.
Speaker 2I saw your car by the four way stop.
Speaker 3No, not my car boo boo, that is incognito.
Speaker 5You traumatized.
Speaker 2Damn.
Speaker 3That was never my thing. That's scream waste man. You hear what they say, right?
Speaker 4No broke boys. Nope If we say it no, but granted, chris Brown said it still. Yeah, we know how she feel about Chris. He said Chris Brown said we don't fuck with broke bitches.
Speaker 5Women are not offended if you know, like there are broke girls that they will openly admit that they don't bring anything. They just bring their physical. But that's the thing. The time and effort is different, like I guess it's up for interpretation for people. So, for example, there was somebody messaged me where what if she's like a stay at home mom? Like stay at home mom is a job bro, like that's worth something. I don't know Joe, so yes, I'm joking I'm sorry.
Speaker 3I'm sorry, I don't want to stay at home. I don't acquire for that.
Speaker 5Exactly, but that's why they got to make at least close to mine at some point. We can hire a help.
Speaker 3We can't do that if you stay at home, but then you will need to help because you don't acquire I mean, aspire to have a stay at home, dad. No, does not fit the criteria.
Speaker 5But I looked at who voted and I feel like it's down to a lot of them are men, by the way, and I feel like not feel like I saw that the men who commented on the time and effort thing are my older friends who already makes a lot of money.
Speaker 2Okay.
Speaker 3I was actually going to draw that point that the males perspective would be different from the females perspective.
Speaker 5Yeah, so it's men who already are making a lot of money or are making a lot of money. So the time and effort they don't, because men will be naturally providers regardless.
Speaker 6So that's why they voted.
Speaker 5Yeah. And then the second dynamic was younger women who probably haven't had anything traumatized them yet, so they voted for that For time and effort.
Speaker 3For time and effort.
Speaker 2Only fools too, yeah.
Speaker 3Like young heads, they plant in the little young farm.
Speaker 4no, Young farm. Wait, who voted for time and effort? Is it the younger girls?
Speaker 3And the older guys and the older guys who she's giving you the demographic.
Speaker 5Okay, Are providers, so.
Speaker 2I guess it's not like I'm much made to have it.
Speaker 3I would listen. I didn't want to say it out loud, but I was like you gotta be careful who you say that.
Speaker 4Yeah, man, Just bring them, Bring them blind in top man.
Speaker 3Spend them cheese.
Speaker 5Come spend it, because spending money is other things than there are women too, who makes money as well.
Speaker 2that commented on that, but what they say.
Speaker 5If you're really a smart woman, why would you want to make? No, I won't be capped. It's the time and effort. Yeah, I won't be capped.
Speaker 2Because you're going, you're working so hard, you're doing 13-hour days Like you want someone to be there when you get home and I am not paying him to do that Cooking you some food. I mean, how about laying off? You I know, have your car freshly washed from all through.
Speaker 4I know a guy right now living the life month. Living the life month. Geronimo on two months, he is half it, right there.
Speaker 3He's half it right there.
Speaker 5Men on the walk. That's just how it works, right? Oh my goodness.
Speaker 4Oh yeah, I could probably get an edit point if I say it right, no.
Speaker 5No, no, no, don't say it. I know exactly who you're thinking.
Speaker 3Nice yeah, beep, oh, but Like oh, I forgot that, but yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5She makes money, she makes money.
Speaker 2And, oh my gosh, and it's BEEP.
Speaker 4Yes.
Speaker 6No, no edit that.
Speaker 4But he makes.
Speaker 5But he makes halfway. That's why you have to make at least half right.
Speaker 3Yo yo yo yo.
Speaker 4Oh, we need to come off that topic. Yeah, yo, yo yo, but no, we can stay on it, but just off it.
Speaker 2Oh, now I can just give him more and more identified.
Speaker 3Yeah, that's what we're like, oh.
Speaker 4Yeah, yeah, I know I'm not about to say For me it really don't matter, Like if my girl made more money than me, I just wouldn't work a bit harder.
Speaker 3But again, because you're a man, so you're a natural provider. As a woman, I'm a nurturer, so you need to come and provide for me. That's how that works.
Speaker 2Yeah, provide and nurture, I got your car washed while you got work. Yeah, what the fuck.
Speaker 3Must have your car that I drive.
Speaker 2But you never have my car to drive.
Speaker 3He's just so traumatized.
Speaker 4Put a quick tent in it, that guy? He wasn't putting gas, no it wasn't he was just dropping a quick tent in it, Like what was the gas station Just bring her? Come right here.
Speaker 3I'm not traumatized, I just grow independent. I know to be an independent woman. Somebody comes around and can not let me have to be that independent I will be.
Speaker 2He's just so traumatized she was actually holding her car, he doing that segment. She just put it down, she just put the piece on.
Speaker 3Pointing, but that to show you that it's mine. It is mine, I hold on to it, it is mine. You work hard for it, right there In my money. I work hard every day.
Speaker 2All right, what I can also call JG Wentworth.
Speaker 3Someone commented and I want my money now no right In my car. So I push the key and I drive it out. No, no, no, my good driver, I've been down in it, you model up.
Speaker 5But just imagine the frustration. You the only person that makes a good living, and you got to book two trips, two tickets, everything every single time you go away and if you love traveling, you think that's.
Speaker 2Do your part. I got a box. Do your part.
Speaker 3You got a box. I just paid for this full-time trip you got a box. Fuck the bags, vic, you can leave them.
Speaker 5They heavy, they heavy. And then when they want to shop, you got to pay for that.
Speaker 4These bags is what 20 a pop Just call him to Zara and just call him a few things. You can't have all the things.
Speaker 3Also, you bring in spending money then he got spending money then because I paid for the trip. Also, I got bring spending money. You got to bring some money. You hearing this? Okay, you can't be a bum, kisa, come on, I am the one that paid for the trip. How I am bum now, you the bum.
Speaker 4But that's all. That's all. You did Just pay for the trip.
Speaker 3Come on Do better than that and I brought spending money. You just said I have to bring spending money to Zara.
Speaker 4You got to bring spending money for both, so you got to have yours and he got to have yours.
Speaker 3You got to give him. That's all you have to have now. You just take for yourself.
Speaker 4So you want him to follow you around forever 21,. Look at Saad. Can't he buy your jeans? Because you there shopping.
Speaker 3That's why you need to bring your own brother. You need to come with more money than me. I just said that.
Speaker 2She hopped it up in 24 out of 21.
Speaker 3Yes, sit down on the coach.
Speaker 4You over on hold bugs, he doesn't walk it by.
Speaker 3Sit on, hold it by.
Speaker 2Sit on on the coach while they're both. Kisa, can I get a shirt?
Speaker 4Same time she checking on, he right behind her hugging her Kisa the jeez, the jeez he holds. Yeah, thanks, man.
Speaker 2You the best. You always get out of the room. I got to rub your feet.
Speaker 4Oh, you see that, priceless moments, priceless moments.
Speaker 3No, it could be priceless. You got paid for the room, now I got. Better be priceless. Views that one better be priceless.
Speaker 4This was fun, or he paid for the upgrade you just you cover.
Speaker 3He have to pay for the book, he have to book it, and then fly me out. That where I at.
Speaker 4And then just borrow your card. No, let me just, yeah, borrowing nothing from you, come with his own.
Speaker 3I come with my own.
Speaker 4Let me grow, then we could build.
Speaker 3Of course, this is my me era. What the it is all about me. You bet, you bet. I selfish in my selfish era. That is the name of the episode Selfish era.
Speaker 5Refish era.
Speaker 2Real quick, real quick. The ganja Ganja. The referendum on weed and the lottery vote is unlikely to take place before the elections.
Speaker 3Great because I need to vote for it, and now that I've registered, I can vote.
Speaker 5I would say yes to both.
Speaker 2Why yes to both? Why you said it. You walk right into it, so I have to follow.
Speaker 5So other countries already have it legal, why can't we?
Speaker 2That's your argument.
Speaker 5That, and also if it's going to bring more money to Cayman, to a lot more projects to probably offset cost living for us, why not?
Speaker 4Hang on, let's start farming.
Speaker 3Well you come from I would just want to say you come from point and tell me about good soil.
Discussion on Lotteries and VIP Experiences
Speaker 5So, for example, the Loro in the Philippines and Philippines a third world country, but they do it there. But the portion of the winnings they put it on like a pot to help people that can't afford health care.
Speaker 3I was just thinking.
Speaker 5It goes to those in need. So if it's something like that, where it has that factor, I'm all for it.
Speaker 4I feel Cayman so small, Cayman really, really small. So even if you try to keep the winner a secret, people still going final and I would just put them in, I guess.
Speaker 3Well, maybe we could do something different, but I definitely hear Jarrah's point about it injecting money into the economy, like they could help Like the government can take on a lot more expenses and then people won't feel as stressed. Like you say, health care, you can put it into housing projects.
Speaker 2We sound like Florida right now, because that's the calling. Florida is a lot of it's money goes to education.
Speaker 3Well, that's what we need, but we don't have to rush, we don't need the roads, we don't have the population though.
Speaker 2So it's not going to be like a million dollar lotteries, it's probably going to be like tens of thousands.
Speaker 3Well, fine, it's a better thing. A 50,000, or do me better, a 50,000 is a down payment.
Speaker 2Don't get it twisted, I'll take it.
Speaker 3I'm just saying it's 50,000.
Speaker 6I think people hear a lot of it.
Speaker 2People hear a lot of it, they think of millions and millions.
Speaker 4And you know where to go because I'm going to plan something smart. I plan in a party, right, where there's nothing Just for the winner. Come on. Ok, no money, come on, and I hope, I hope I joke out with it, because they are coming here by holy peb bottles and love that.
Speaker 2They want me last week, but they want me now.
Speaker 5But wasn't there a bunch of came onions that had one?
Speaker 2No, it was a West Bay. It was a West Bay dude.
Speaker 5But he never really. I live in West Bay. I don't see him buying out.
Speaker 2You cross the road every day, you cross the road yeah, it's right by the.
Speaker 4Well, no, we can't be at a point. He probably fishing.
Speaker 2That's all they care about. Yeah, if I was here, that should about, you probably would know what they'll be signs.
Speaker 5Yes, I was about to say that, that would be me.
Speaker 2I'm going to go and accept my shit.
Speaker 4Like in a mosque, If I came onion, we need to go to that little, because they just flash they don't know how to I go and pick. I go and ask Jeremy. I'll call Stephen, go pick it up. Nobody can.
Speaker 2I'm going by D-bar like six jeeps. There's different.
Speaker 4No, we need to get them off the road.
Speaker 2No, I'm not a D-bar. I'm going to take Boris one off the road. Yo, we need to get him.
Speaker 4So that's the worst. Boris needs to be contained.
Speaker 2Yeah. So the referendum vote I mean you know, to do a referendum vote is like I think they buzzed like at a million dollars so you do save money by just doing it all one time with the elections that's going to take place in two years. I think the issue is that it probably wouldn't bind the incoming government to actually put that shit into effect, but it should. I mean, if you do have that sort of referendum and you get the public involved in the public votes and it's an overwhelming majority, either way you should probably have to abide by what they've requested, so that is to probably decriminalize weed and then also to introduce lawdaries. I think it does have a good point in that sense of we need to at least start to have these public conversations. You know, I think Elvis McKeeva you know his last run in the black really popular. He need to run again Popularized it.
Speaker 3He might actually win this time.
Speaker 2No, I think he got convicted. Did he get convicted?
Speaker 4Did he got arrested? He got convicted because of the unreleased tapes.
Speaker 2Well now, we never played those tapes. We actually had an interview with him. I mean, it was like a 30, 40 minute call. He was going home, bro, amazing, amazing call we need to find that. Do you need to find that so we can put out in chunks and just put it out?
Speaker 4Yeah, just show some little clips on IG what the engagement will create, chris enjoyed that one.
Speaker 2But yeah, if he's allowed to, yeah, feel free. So the next two years is going to be a fun, fun times. The beach vendors are seeking alcohol. Where is Chris when you need Chris. I thought it was a salsa party. The beach vendors are seeking a liquor license. I know he going to be tight about that.
Speaker 4You can't sell liquor on the beach, nope.
Speaker 2He don't want to see none of that shit changed on the beach, but they're now asking for it, so I think it's pending and we should hear some information.
Speaker 4If that come true, perfect. But you don't like going to the beach, no, but so he going to get the beach then, though, no, no, no, no, because I do something.
Speaker 2On the scene. You have an event.
Speaker 4I do something that involves the beach, but last time we did it we were only able to sell water, Gatorades and stuff like that.
Speaker 3Also now. You can now play for a liquor license.
Speaker 4So that should be good.
Speaker 2And the Cinema 2, the Cinema has liquor in their VIP sections, but now they've tried to get for all of the stuff I don't want to bother squeezing.
Speaker 4I don't want to bother squeezing cross maybe.
Speaker 6With alcohol exactly.
Speaker 2And dropping it on my palm. Uh-uh, why are you in regularity? No, no, I want to go to.
Speaker 4VIP. I want to go to VIP Exactly.
Speaker 3But that's exactly right, like why would you be trying to squeeze cross me with some beer, like you dropped out of me there watching my movie, like come on so.
Speaker 4I want to keep your question. If a guy action a date right and he take you to the regular. B-i-p. I will pay for that shit. No, but what if it the regularity?
Speaker 3Oh, so you spend it on him. I know I will pay for that. Then Just to show him I do not fuck around. What the fuck? Suppose it only in the regular theater? No, but then we schedule it for the friendly. What are we? Yo Listen, I have a standard to maintain. I carry myself to VIP. So you either meet me at my standard or do better.
Speaker 2I'm not dropping it. Get out of here with the IG meme Yo wait. Honestly, you meet me at my standard, okay, or?
Speaker 3leave me there. I move a date. That is not a IG standard. That's how I live.
Speaker 4VIP is just that A VIP move, a date that is like $1.25.
Speaker 3Easy $1.25 to get in $1.50 just to get in, but like, so I'll let you take me to dinner. Then liquor no, that's not like.
Speaker 4So it's $1.10 for a beer and you can. I talked to her for two hours Then you are getting natural.
Speaker 3So it's more turtledown. I like it silent. I like to read body language.
Speaker 2It could be dark in the fucking way you do this. Pay attention to the screen and then she won't go late.
Speaker 4She shows her and you're like you know, I hope to get it. Oh, You're getting late after that Set up.
Speaker 2Set up that boy 125 down in the morning. I need to get nothing. He said run off for them, but you got me. Until you understand it, I agree Right, so don't mind us, we still do no no, I'll go ask Keisha what type of place is?
Speaker 4he can't take you cause you said take you dinner, right? So what type of places you want to go? I just want to know.
Speaker 3I just want people to know. Surprise me, no, no, no, no. You're not gonna want to come this where you take me. Well then, it sounds like you better get to know me. I have a standard, you're right, I do so if you want to approach me properly.
Speaker 4I shouldn't have to tell you so where I actually like peppers See everyone likes peppers, so I wouldn't mind it. Okay, good, just checking.
Speaker 2What if his car broke down that day and he says yo, I need you to pick me up? You are fucking testing me, and then let me drive, cause my legs long, so I let me. Can he drive your car on the day to the show? No, he needs to figure it out.
Speaker 3I tired of figuring it out.
Speaker 2So you would, so you wouldn't even pick him up.
Speaker 4No, yo, no, no, no, no, but taxi runs still.
Speaker 3Exactly, you got all these as your friend born, this car I wouldn't even know as your mom you're that, I don't know, figure it out. I am tired of figuring it out.
Speaker 2And then when he come in the moment car, you'll be like nah, there's not even your car, I wouldn't even know cause.
Speaker 3I wouldn't ask. I'd probably ask like maybe on the second, third date, but like the first date, let me get to know you, let me get to enjoy it, like what's going on, and I try and go all in.
Speaker 4So what was he trying to test? You Test me. I said he car break down. See, if you were like, if you would have come get him.
Speaker 3Well, I would feel like feeling miserable.
Speaker 2I love him. She so, she so hurt she so authentic, yeah, I love you. This is what you get. This keeps you on everything. Oh, real quick, real quick. The beach of Rosen. When last you been to the marina bro?
Speaker 4No, like a couple months. Oh sorry, you didn't go to beach. Yeah, no, I stayed inside, so I'm not too hot, sorry.
Speaker 2When last you been to the marina?
Speaker 3A long time it's been a while, I think Easter 2021.
Speaker 4You can jump straight from the pool into the water. Mm-hmm, nah, nah.
Speaker 5Well, I'm not that bad.
Speaker 3Yeah me too Well actually Well, no, there's a little ways, because they had a bonfire, like when we went to Easter, so like they had the beach chairs.
Speaker 2What Easter that was.
Speaker 3That was. I think it was 2021 or 2020.
Speaker 2Oh, OK, well, 2023. You can jump in the water. The water no Round the pointable water.
Speaker 4No, that was just what they were the stairs.
Speaker 2The stairs. You know how long the stairs are going off to the beach? Mm-hmm, it's about a foot or two. No, it wasn't, Just, just just of I could show you pictures, it wasn't, it was 2021.
Speaker 3We, yeah, it wasn't.
Speaker 2It's nothing under the stairs like a foot or two and it's just water and like.
Speaker 3But is it because it's high tide?
Speaker 2Three or four feet of water Shit. Nah, it's fucking beach is gone.
Speaker 5Just erosion.
Speaker 2You teach erosion. Just just round the whole strip. Yeah Round the pointable Marriott.
Speaker 4That just gained my mind.
Speaker 5They had the best New Year's parties, mm-hmm, just round the same, but that's why Marriott kind of downgraded too because of that, like you can't go to the beach, beach, mm-hmm. They haven't really renovated for a while.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3No, they have. Actually they're doing that now. Now they're in the process of that now.
Speaker 2I think some of the comments were recently with the government was trying to allocate $20 million to get some type of I don't want to say I don't want to say cure, but at least try to fix the beach erosion problem, which is a lot of money. And it's kind of made its way back up now because obviously people are getting ready for high season and it's not fixed or whatever. But Kenneth on the road, kelly Bryan, and it's a tourism is like yo, I don't know we should be spending that kind of money to fix that.
Speaker 3If.
Speaker 2Nah, I'm saying it's the public's funds, but also there's no guarantee it's going to work. So I was just there the other day when I actually looked over and saw it and I was like, oh, this is pretty, pretty bad. So I know what I know with the current climate change and initiatives that the ministry is doing for sustainability and climate resiliency. They have a paper that's going to the cabinet now and they've gotten some comments and one of the things they want to do is probably change the set box and the rules and how you can build on the beach, how far, what you can do, no seawalls, et cetera, et cetera. If anyone wants a good reminder as to why this stuff is important, that's just go by them right now and have a look, and I think that's something that we should really continue to pay attention to and when ox, we should give our feedback, give our opinions and, in particular, because people like Rashad don't go beach- no, but I would probably like the Marriott cause no sun.
Speaker 4They can literally walk off the stairs and then get back on and no sun.
Halloween Costumes and Airplane Incident Discussion
Speaker 2It may have to be that kind of resort. Hey, it's actually used to be called Marriott Beach Resort. You gotta take out that word beach Marriott Pool Resort. Jeremy, had your hair for a while. Let me get you out of here. Good, so, keisha, you all right, you call now, put your key down. Put your key down, keisha. You're not going nowhere right now. Jesus Yo, can we talk about this song that the kids made for the song? You know, or not?
Speaker 3Which song Me.
Speaker 2You know the song I'm talking about D-R-E Ski-E-Ki.
Speaker 3They did not. They did not. Cut it out, cut it out, all right y'all don't know about it.
Speaker 2I'm not gonna lie to myself now, okay.
Speaker 4If you try me, then you'll see what's up.
Speaker 2Go ahead, go ahead perform.
Speaker 4That's all I know. Go ahead perform. I only know the ski-e part, bro.
Speaker 2Um, thank God I wasn't an adult to plane.
Speaker 3Oh my gosh, I would die.
Speaker 2That was a shitty situation.
Speaker 3Literally a shit show, you know.
Speaker 4That when the person shit up on the plane.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 5At that area, but did they get out and just start?
Speaker 3They couldn't make it to the ball no they couldn't make it to the bathroom, like it's all over the aisles and shit, like yeah and stuff.
Speaker 5Airplanes are already naturally nasty.
Speaker 3They had to turn the plane around and rip out the carpet. Imagine all of that.
Speaker 2So I heard the captain's call first. I didn't see nothing about whatever. Captain was like, yeah, it's basically his dad on the plane and you think it's like maybe he misspoke, maybe you know. It's like short hon or whatever the word is for. He said yeah, it's a biohazard, we gotta turn by and a tin can full of shit.
Speaker 2They were all into the flight leaving Atlanta, going to somewhere in Europe, to Spain Somewhere, yeah sorry, and they had to turn by, so it's a two-hole flight. But they're too late to video drop and somebody showed the aisle, bro, that was a biohazard.
Speaker 3Yes.
Speaker 4So you had to stay in your seat the whole time while the shit went up.
Speaker 3Yeah, this. And somebody tried to spray vanilla for a few minutes and they said that it smelled like vanilla poop. Oh my God, I'm a giant.
Speaker 4They had to refund everybody, refund everything, bigest compensation.
Speaker 2I'm catching some type of sickness or something. I'm flying Delta for life after I've been fresh.
Speaker 3Well, no, because there's nothing that they could do about the passenger. The passenger bowel movements is not under control.
Speaker 2I'm flying away bro, I'm getting a little bit of poop. What are they gonna tell you? They gave him some drink that he was allergic to.
Speaker 4They don't eat on their plane. They got something Go on.
Speaker 5TikTok and find there's a girl that is like a TikTok attorney, where she tells you anything about flying. Go find her and sue Delta to the ground.
Speaker 2All right, they gonna be big to airlines bro.
Speaker 3Oh, you're capping her right now.
Speaker 2I'm getting a hope so plain I gotta bring her back. Yeah, I'm like shit. Oh, sorry, don't play. Oh, oh, ha, ha, ha, jared, how much. What time we at Jared, you can look at this 125. All the time we go out of here. I'm sure I got things to do. Yeah, I got food to eat. Yeah, sorry, started it. I know Keisha is hungry. Keisha is not driving. Oh, I can't answer Honda.
Speaker 3Yeah, you didn't hear me earlier. You didn't hear me earlier.
Speaker 2Any final comments before we go out of here? Do you guys over there D's ready to park up? Real quick, real quick, real quick. Keisha Jared. Final comments Rashad Nope.
Speaker 4Halloween, october 28th. That was all.
Speaker 3Get your tickets where.
Speaker 4Event bro.
Speaker 3When does early bird finish?
Speaker 4When they sell out. What about, like, the 20th of September? We always, but they almost sold out.
Speaker 5I really wish people would come out in costume. Please, guys, come out with costume.
Speaker 2Please, here's an expert over here.
Speaker 5You know it's gonna be fun. People probably afraid they're afraid.
Speaker 3They shouldn't be afraid, it's a costume party. No, do your best.
Speaker 4So the guys have a chance. The guys, because the guy who won last year was wearing an inflatable Buzz Lightyear. I have no idea how he won.
Speaker 5There was one that didn't enter. That was so funny Like I cannot remember, and then you actually commented and said why this guy never entered.
Speaker 4Oh yeah.
Speaker 3Yeah, you did. I can't remember why there's no yeah.
Speaker 4So there was another guy on stage that I think he came second. He had on like this nurse outfit that had like boobs out, yeah.
Speaker 4I got cussed so much when the costume competition was done because people in the back were like you know, why did that guy not win? They were like yo, we were screaming so loud. But how the screaming works is, if you have friends in the front, they will drown out all the people in the back. So we can only judge off that. So that's what we try, and we try and fix that as well. So it no more. We try and eliminate the whole chair and things so we can actually have a fair voting process.
Speaker 5Definitely.
Speaker 4So we just got to figure that out and see how it go.
Speaker 5Yeah, my costume is going to be, because I was thinking of retiring or thinking of it. So let's see you know it has to be the biggest one.
Speaker 3I have an idea, but talk to me off here, okay.
Speaker 4No, when Jera told me she retired and I was actually quite sad because I was like yo, what the fuck.
Speaker 5But come on the game needs you yeah. How am I going to top Vicks Like even? What do you mean?
Speaker 3Even to start doing couple of costumes.
Speaker 2I see what, I see what I'm doing right now, and then she's going to come in.
Speaker 4She's got to call some type of relationship she's trying to talk about it gently, but based on like being in K-Mon, I was like that was probably the best costume I saw. Me too, like ever.
Speaker 5I had people's parents watch out me and said this is the best costume because I use this every night.
Speaker 4I think you, people's parents, you know what you should have done?
Speaker 2Why do you use this every night?
Speaker 5Vicks Go to sleep, they smell it and put it in their earl and come on.
Speaker 4I got Vicks in my bag, but every night yeah, my sister put it in her ear.
Speaker 2But, jera, you know you should have sold the costume She'd be fine.
Speaker 3Shout out to my sister.
Speaker 5It's because it's really cut out for me. Okay, so if I sold that to somebody and then I don't think K-Mon's going to re-wear a costume, you think so?
Speaker 2You think so?
Speaker 5They'll probably just have to do it on their own, I guess, but part of the costumes do their.
Speaker 2They recycle dresses in projects. Oh my.
Speaker 3I can't wait until you're in your mom era and then you're doing that for your little kid. That'd be so cool. I'll go with her the costume. Are you putting children on her for her like that? Well, she probably wants kids, don't you, Jera? I want kids.
Speaker 4I don't even know why Kisha talking about Halloween. She's not even going to be here. Hate her. No support.
Speaker 3No, no, no, she hates local, she hates local.
Speaker 2I had plans previously.
Speaker 3You know, and I have to follow through with those plans.
Speaker 4Since when? When were the plans made?
Speaker 3I will not discuss that with you on ear.
Speaker 4No, I just want to know when the plans were made. I don't.
Speaker 3It may be like two years a year. Wow, it's a long time.
Speaker 4I said last year Halloween, see you next year. So what I mean, what you mean. So I gave you notice. A year and a half Y'all sound like siblings.
Speaker 3I know we kind of were.
Speaker 2Brother and sister argue this week, this month. This marks 19 years since Hurricane Ivan. I know we did it before. We talked about how to hurricane episode. You can go back and look at it. It's a good reminder where we come from and where we've been, things that we kind of face as a people. So take some stock into that. Once you listen to this episode, you know what I mean. Reflect on where you was If you were here 20 years ago. Some of you probably weren't, but a lot of us were and we remember. And hurricane season is a good time to always kind of be humble and to be thankful for what we do have. So I want to leave us on that note, on top of that, if anything else, before we get out of here. Rashad said October he's doing a party. Jarrod says he's coming for her crown. That person doesn't want any smoke. He says he's not going to be here.
Speaker 3Nope, catching flights Going on vacation All 2023. Oh no, jarrod, remember in my era, selfish and raw.
Speaker 2Yo, in line 32, Kisha kind of ended us on a good note, so I want to go back to dealing real quick because Kisha no, I keep you getting a reflective last episode or so.
Speaker 8What makes you think that I care about your opinion of me? Your opinion of me is not the opinion that I have of myself. You ain't make me, so you can't break me. You didn't build me, so you can't kill me. You know what God established me, so you ain't nothing you could do to me. I've been him.
Speaker 8I've been a difference maker, a game changer. I've been that guy. So what would change? Not a darn thing. I'm not even playing the game. And you got an opinion of me. I love it, but I don't care. I wish the world thought like that. Youngsters, if you're out there right now, do not give a darn for the opinions people have of you, Long as that opinion is not consistent of that of yourself. You be you. I'm not playing to make you feel good about me. I already feel good about me. I'm good. Message for the youngsters out there In the old school not old fools.
Speaker 3And he is absolutely correct.
Speaker 5Perfect for Kaman, for sure, for sure he is absolutely correct.
Speaker 2So you know what it is, but this is the link up. I find some IG. I probably got whether you're in the car cleaning plus in time to work. We hope you enjoy hanging with us as much as we enjoy making this for you. Keep us in your thoughts and tell a friend, and tell a friend. We're going to stay around until next time.
