Nadia David

Nadia grew up in Tasmania and moved to Sydney to become a NSW Police officer in 2002. She trained as a Police Prosecutor and specialised in domestic and family violence. In 2008, Nadia moved to Canberra and the Attorney-General's Department where she worked in the National Human Rights Consultation, the Defence Abuse Response Taskforce and the International Crime Cooperation Division.

In 2016, Nadia and her husband Charles moved to Beechworth, Victoria, with their two kids, Ben and Elena, to an idyllic farm on the outskirts of town. Nadia is an academic these days, teaching criminal justice at RMIT University in Melbourne while she and Charles run the local bookshop. They breed Stock Horses and promote the regenerative agricultural approach they use through workshops they run on-farm.

Nadia is running as Labor's candidate for Indi on a strong climate action and governance platform. She wants to be the MP for the electorate that can get things done.
