Ever wondered if the magic of Disney extends to its nearby high-end hotels? Brittany and I spill the beans on our recent escapade at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, a place that marries the enchantment of Disney with the sophistication of the Marriott brand. We're peeling back the curtain on this strategically placed resort, diving into its history and how it's carved out a niche in the competitive landscape of accommodations around the happiest place on earth. And because no review is complete without the nitty-gritty, we're getting real about what the Dolphin does well and where it left us wanting more.

Buckle up for a jaunt through Disney's transportation intricacies and the dining scene that could rival any foodie's dream, as we shine a light on gems like Todd English's Blue Zoo and Shula's Steakhouse. But it's not all about the glitz of high-end eateries; we're also tackling the subtler aspects of the Disney experience that were notably absent from our stay. From the symphony of Disney tunes that usually scores your vacation to the theming that sweeps you off your feet, we reflect on what it means to be just outside the Disney bubble. Join us for an episode that's part storytelling, part critique, and all about giving you the insider's edge for your next Disney adventure.

Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome to Circular Parks podcast episode number 136. Today we are doing a hotel review on the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. There is far too much to see and do. We are here to help guide you through. But before we do that we must talk Disney merch.

Speaker 1:

So this week Disney merch I can't no longer really say ShopDisneycom, because ShopDisneycom has went back to DisneyStorecom and on there they have new Jack, skellington and Sally ear headband for adults. For you Nightmare Before Christmas fans, they are priced at $34.99. And it's Jack and Sally, a pair of Star Cross lovers are presented as Tarot cards at the center of a sequined bow. Atop this simulated leather ear headband inspired by Tisley Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas, a starry night pattern with moons, bats and Skellington heads is printed on both sides of the ears. So spooky, no matter the season. And that is this week's Disney merch. But don't forget we also have our own merch. So if you go to CircularParkscom, click on merch, it takes you directly to Tee Public and we have stickers, coffee mugs, sweatshirts, t-shirts and more. So please go check that out.

Speaker 2:

Glad you're feeling better.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, sorry, I sound a little raspy.

Speaker 2:

Guys, it's better than it has this week.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I hope so.

Speaker 2:

So do you think they'll be bringing back the Disney stores now?

Speaker 1:

I would hope that's rumors like ooh, maybe this is a sign.

Speaker 2:

Because that was, I think, a huge mistake. Yeah, Because they could sell. They don't have to have the newest merch in there. They can always sell stuff that hasn't sold and people are going to buy them. The one here in Nashville was always packed.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I was really surprised that they closed that one, because I mean I know they closed all, but I was like, well, maybe they'll keep this one open. It's always busy.

Speaker 2:

It was one of the last ones to stay open, I think. But there's always toys and shirts. We got a lot of shirts from there before we would go.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for our first couple of trips. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so anyway, thank you everybody and welcome to episode number 136. Thank you for being patient with us this week. Great, neat, it's feeling much better. Yes, now we have two sick kids.

Speaker 1:

Yes, it's just that time of year and there's a lot of things going around, so here we are.

Speaker 2:

So it's okay, everybody's getting better. But welcome to episode number 136. This is the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel Review. We recently stayed here a couple of weeks ago on our couples only trip and it was a great resort.

Speaker 1:

It really was. It surpassed what I thought it would be. I heard that it was really nice on the inside, but it wow.

Speaker 2:

It was really nice and well, we'll get more into that in a minute. It was really nice, but I didn't miss some things.

Speaker 1:

Yes and same here.

Speaker 2:

But we'll get into that. But if you're new here, thank you for joining us. I'm Zach, I'm Brittany and we do this podcast every single week and our goal is one to help you have a better Disney vacation. Two talk about things you might not have thought about so you can add that to the vacation. And three just break up your daily, break up your week, give you a break in the middle of the week. We take you to Walt Disney World or Disneyland every week and just give you a break. It's a break for us, we enjoy it, and so that's. We just hope you enjoy it.

Speaker 1:

We do, you know, and sometimes, if you, you know, for us, sometimes when we have the Disney blues after a trip, it's a way just to kind of take us back there.

Speaker 2:

That's how we started the podcast. We had the Disney blues and let's just talk about Disney and keep booking trips and so here we are. Yes, here we are. So, uh, do you. Since you're still on the mend, you want me to read what Disney World says about it, or do you want to read the history? Okay, I can do that.

Speaker 1:

All right. So here's what Disney says about the dolphin hotel, with deluxe accommodations inspired by Florida itself. Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel you can say that word.

Speaker 2:

Jexta Pazos, jexta Pazos, jexta Pazos.

Speaker 1:

Jxta Pazos.

Speaker 2:

Jxta Pazos, is it Jxta Pazosian modern architectural silhouettes? Yes, jxta Pazos, there we go, there we go.

Speaker 1:

The science flourishes most. Notably the twin stylized dolphin statues gracing its rooftop, a tropical pallet of aqua and coral, elaborate fountains, towering palm trees and grassy expanses render the hotel as idyllic as it is striking.

Speaker 2:

So the history of this got a unique history here. So during the 1980s, many resorts started popping up outside of the Walt Disney World property that were much larger and were hosting conventions and large corporate meetings. Ceo at the time, michael Eisner, saw an opportunity to tap into these convention and large meeting clients while accommodating their families for a Walt Disney World vacation on Disney property. Pretty smart actually, yeah for sure. So Disney partnered with the Tishman Group, who was also the contractor that built Epcot, to build the swan and dolphin resorts. The dolphin opened on June 4, 1990, as part of a joint venture between Disney, the Tishman Group, metlife and Starwood Hotels. In 2019, they merged into Marriott International. So the swan and dolphin is the mayor. They're under the Marriott umbrella.

Speaker 1:

Right correct.

Speaker 2:

So so here are some stats of the dolphin. This is just a dolphin, not the swan and dolphin, just the dolphin. It is part of the Epcot resort area, but it's right in between Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Speaker 1:

It's a great location.

Speaker 2:

So I think it was a 20 minute walk from the dolphin to Epcot. It would probably be that long to Hollywood Studios Probably Maybe.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, we didn't time it.

Speaker 2:

I think a little longer Maybe but anyway it is considered a deluxe resort has 1,514 rooms. Now I thought this was interesting. The statue of the dolphins on the hotel are not mammalian dolphins. Oh really, but they are a stylized version of a nautical dolphin and is based on Triton Fountain and Rome.

Speaker 1:

So they are different. They look like they do.

Speaker 2:

now that you're saying that, yeah, it's not like the swans on the swan are very noticeable.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

The dolphins are a little different.

Speaker 1:

And now that you're relating it to Rome, like I can kind of see that, and if you see it in person or in pictures too, you can probably pick up on that.

Speaker 2:

Yep. So it's operated by Marriott International under the Sheridan Hotels and Resorts brand and it became a green lodge in 2008. So if you would like to book a stay at the dolphin hotel, you know you can do that for you.

Speaker 1:

Is that our sponsor? Our?

Speaker 2:

sponsor Main Street Travel Company. They are the official sponsor of this podcast and we use them for all of our Disney and non-Disney vacation needs. They can plan your Walt Disney World, disneyland Disney Cruise Line Adventures by Disney Alani and Disneyland Paris Vacations. If you tell them we sent you, this is key. Yes, yes, they are exclusive deals for Circle of Parks listeners only. If you book a Disney Cruise Line with Main Street Travel Company, you'll get up to $1,000 on board credit. That's huge. It is.

Speaker 2:

If you book an Adventures by Disney, you'll get up to $1,000 cashback and you will get a gift card for your next Walt Disney World vacation. Also, if you use our travel planner Travel Planner Erica she's going to throw another $25 on that gift card.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I mean. Why argue that? I mean, it's great, they're going to save you money.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it's amazing. Not only are they going to take care of everything for free, they're going to plan the vacation for free. Take all the stress off of you. They do. You're going to save money with them.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I mean, I think I say it every time, but I mean it's seriously. You don't have to keep up with how far out you are to make dining reservations. You know they do all that for you and reach out to you. You know, a few days or a week before hey, are these still the dining places you'd like to go to on your next trip?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Erica was already reaching out to us about our Disneyland trip in July. She was like hey, we need to make park reservations now because you still have to have those out there. Right, I was like oh okay, like I didn't even think about it.

Speaker 1:

All right, yeah, you know, yeah, so they keep up with all that for you.

Speaker 2:

So go check them out. They're at wwwmainstreettravelcocom. They're on Instagram, facebook and YouTube. And again, I say it every week, my favorite thing about them call them 1-800-593-1262. These are full time agents in an office. You can call them at that number, 1-800-593-1262. Monday through Friday, 10 am 5 pm, central time. They are there to help you immediately. These are not part time agents that are doing it on their side, and they'll get back to you when they can't, they'll. They're. They're ready now.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Well, not now, it's late, but during normal business hours Time yes, yeah. So again telling me, since you take advantage of those special offers, so what are the perks of staying at the Dauphin Hotel?

Speaker 1:

The location.

Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, yeah, that's a huge perk.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we already talked about how it's located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios and you, while you're there, you have a Walt Disney World Guest Services desk.

Speaker 2:

Yes, we walked. We got lost and walked through that. Yes, yeah.

Speaker 1:

But they're there to help you. It's your Disney World Guest Services desk, like it says. So if you're having any issues with like the app or reservations, anything like that, they can look into that stuff for you.

Speaker 2:

They have free transportation to all the Walt Disney World Parks, which is a little different. At Magic Kingdom, well, they take you. They don't take you to the normal bus drop offs. They have a like a little separate one for them. An animal kingdom is kind of right next to where the ride chairs pick up and drop off at. Yes, but they're signed for it, you can't mess them. They will get you there. And at the Magic Kingdom, they don't take you to the bus depot, they take you to the ticket and transportation center.

Speaker 2:

And then you need to take like a ferry or the monorail or you can walk all the way around. But just keep that in mind. If you're tight on time, you might want to do a rideshare, and if you're gonna rideshare to the Magic Kingdom, do not. They will take you to the transportation and take a center Rideshare to the contemporary and you can walk from the contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. It's much easier. It's what I do when I go from a book research Right, so saves you time.

Speaker 2:

Saves you time, so keep that in mind. There are free buses everywhere, but they're not gonna take you. Drop you off at the normal drop off locations.

Speaker 1:

Right, and what he means by that is like if you're staying at other Disney resorts, correct, so yeah.

Speaker 2:

So the advantage of the extra magic hours you have that for 30 minutes in the morning and you can make dining reservations 60 days out. But you cannot use a double checked and triple checked with Erica on this. You cannot use a Disney dining plan and stay here.

Speaker 1:

Oh, really, it is not oh.

Speaker 2:

Which she was surprised by that as well. But if you stay here, you cannot use a Disney dining plan. Hmm, wow, yeah, but you can make reservations 60 days out, okay, and you can also make your first lightning lane selection at 7 am, as opposed to when the park opens for other non-resort guests, right?

Speaker 1:

So those are some.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you're getting pretty good perks right there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean you're getting a lot of like your traditional Disney resorts. There's just a few little tweaks here and there. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So tell us about the dining, because they had a lot of dining options here which we did not partake in, but there's a lot here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think if we had stayed longer then we definitely would have tried some, because walking by the restaurants they looked very nice.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and keep in mind, this is a convention center hotel.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So they're gonna have a lot of that stuff for convention goers.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so you have fine dining, casual dining, quick service lounges. One fine dining is Todd's English Blue Zoo and this is a delight in international coastal cuisine At an award winning restaurant. So again, signature dining, seafood. We again. We didn't eat here, but I'm just gonna share like three or four items off the menu just to give you guys an idea, several, I've heard nothing but great things about Blue Zoo.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, I will share a little bit more of what the starters are, because the starters alone sound amazing. Teppin' Seared Sea Scallops. Ooh Crab nachos I'm in. So you have a food tower. Ooh, that can get expensive yeah then you get you have flatbread, soup, salads, you have entrees that include things from different types of fish to steak, ahi, tuna, lobster chicken, and then, of course, you can enhance it. Their sides they have shaken baked fries, shaken Jamaican.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

So this is roasted garlic, rosemary, grated Parmesan cheese, tempura, green beans, glazed carrots and more, and then they have a decent selection of desserts and, of course, cocktails and all of that. So that was one that you were kinda interested in, or more the lounge part of it, if we had time.

Speaker 2:

I've just heard nothing but great things about Todd English's Blue Zoo it's. I've heard so many other podcasters, so many other Disney YouTubers and influencers just rant and rave about Todd English's Blue Zoo.

Speaker 1:

Right, I mean maybe at some point in time.

Speaker 2:

You would have thought, having a couple's only weekend, we would have been doing fine dining, but we did not.

Speaker 1:

We did not.

Speaker 2:

Oh, Like F cut and animal kingdom, yeah, so.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so next another restaurant we've heard a lot about is Shula's Steakhouse.

Speaker 2:

We actually had reservations here, and then COVID happened.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, quite a while back, yeah. So sizzling steaks and seafood and press at this award winning restaurant, honoring the only undefeated team in NFL history. I don't know what that means.

Speaker 2:

Don Shula was a football coach.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right, sorry. So this menu is available. Sorry, sorry, I've been sick guys, so my mind's not all the way back yet. So some of the menu items of course it's going to have steak, your starters, bacon, rat barbecue, shrimp, tuna, tartar steak, tartar shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, scallops, again soups and salads from the grill. You can get different fillets, new York strip, porter house, rib eyes, tomahawk. You have roasted chicken, crab cakes, halibut, ribs, salmon, lamb and your sides are going to be mashed potatoes, baked potato, asparagus, broccoli, macaroni and cheese and more. And several desserts, such as a molten chocolate, lava cake, apple crisp, vanilla cream, brulee, key lime pie, cheesecake. And again offers a kid's menu. Your, you know chicken, your cheeseburgers, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, that kind of thing. And then, of course, a bar menu.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, between the two, I think I would choose blue zoo over shula's.

Speaker 1:

Really Okay.

Speaker 2:

So again, I'm not trying to like toot my own horn here. I make an amazing steak here at the house.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he really does, he really does.

Speaker 2:

So when I do go out to other steak houses, they just they're not as good.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes they're not. You have to perfect it. They're really not.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm disappointed sometimes when we go and spend 60, 70, 80 dollars for a good steak.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And it's not as good as a 21, as a $20 steak that I cooked at on the girl here at the house. Do you agree or disagree?

Speaker 1:

No, I mean some restaurants do pull it off, but lately less.

Speaker 2:

It's hard, it's very hard. So I think Todd English's blue zoo would have more variety.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Seafood and different types. I think the blue of steak house is going to be a great steak house. I'm not knocking steak houses here.

Speaker 1:

Right and we haven't tried it.

Speaker 2:

We haven't tried it, but over between the two, I would choose blue zoo first. Yeah, just me, just my opinion.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then you know, there was this other restaurant that had my attention looking at the menu and walking by it Rosa Mexicano. And so you have authentic Mexican cuisine served in a stylish setting with festive flair. I won't go into the menu, but it looked really nice looking in. And so those are your fine dining options. You have casual dining, such as the Cabana bar and beach club, which is poolside. The fountain serves food and it's an ice cream shop. You have quick service. One is fuel. You have snacks and treats. I got coffee from there. It's like a little coffee shop as well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we got some like bottled water and snacks and pastries yeah, that kind of stuff.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then you have a zoo is like cafeteria style and then you have lounges. So you have Shula's lounge, Todd, English Blue Zoo, lounge, Finns and the Rosa Mexicano lounge as well.

Speaker 2:

I wonder if Finns is after Fin from Star Wars?

Speaker 1:

Probably not, probably. Not Because a dolphin Probably yeah.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

All right.

Speaker 2:

So I'll talk about the amenities. They have quite a few pools here. They have a three acre grotto pool, Two lap pools, a spring pool, four rural pools and a kitty pool.

Speaker 1:

That's a lot of pools, yeah, and we didn't really go looking for these?

Speaker 2:

No, but they looked. We did walk by the grotto pool.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and it did look nice Really nice.

Speaker 2:

Yes, they have the Mandara Spa.

Speaker 1:

I would love to go there.

Speaker 2:

So there are only two other spas on property One's at the Grand Floridian, that one's finally back open Nice, and the other one is that you've been to Saratoga Springs. Yes, so this will be the other spa on property. Yes, so keep that in mind, and this is what I thought is really cool here, because it's a convention resort, parents are usually working while they're here, right, right, they have what's called Camp Dolphin. It is supervised children's activity center for kids four to twelve. The cost is ten dollars per child per hour. That can add up to it can.

Speaker 1:

It can.

Speaker 2:

And it's from. Their hours are from 4 pm to 11 pm and for more information call 407-934-4241, and you have to make advanced reservations.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so if you wanna try some of this fine dining without the kids, that could be a possibility.

Speaker 2:

Well, you got a business meeting, whatever, and I don't know if Erica or they can book that. You may have to do this by yourself. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, not sure on that.

Speaker 2:

Don't know.

Speaker 1:

But still, that's a great thing for adults traveling with kids and if you have business to take care of or you do wanna try that fine dining and you know your child may not.

Speaker 2:

Or if you wanna go ride living with the land or something, yes, that too. Without the kids. Nice and peaceful yeah, I was just trying to keep it resort related or hotel related, but yeah, so what did we think of the resort Brittany? What did you think?

Speaker 1:

So yeah, again, it was a lot more than I expected. It was very nice. Now it does have more of a like Marriott type feel to it, very elegantly done. It didn't feel even though it was busy, it didn't feel overcrowded any time we were walking through it. The lobby, very beautiful. I like how they do have all those restaurants, even though we didn't get to experience it. But you know, for convenience that's a great thing to have, because after we got there, after we checked our bags, before we went to Animal Kingdom, I did go ahead and go to that fuel place we were talking about and got a coffee. So the convenience of all that was great, would I stay there again.

Speaker 1:

Yes, probably without the kids. However, there were some things I missed.

Speaker 2:

What did you miss? Keep in mind we're on a Disney vacation.

Speaker 1:

Right, not like having the Disney music going, like when you enter. There's like a different feel when you enter a Disney resort and you have that own resort's themed music playing. Or like when you're on the transportation, the buses, like if you're, say, animal Kingdom Lodge, you have that Animal Kingdom music playing. You know what I'm talking?

Speaker 2:

about.

Speaker 1:

You know where the buses for. Here it was just quiet, there was no music playing and the convenience of where the drop off locations are at the parks, things like that. I didn't have as much of the Disney blues after this trip because I think, even though I missed the parks, like I think the Disney resorts that screen Disney actually a little more help in giving you the Disney blues. Like when we came back from our Christmas trip I had the Disney blues.

Speaker 2:

We had a horror, we had a bad.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and a lot of other trips. I've had it that way too. So again, I would stay there again with kids probably not.

Speaker 2:

There were a lot of kids here, though.

Speaker 1:

There were, and again, nothing wrong with it. But having stayed at so many other Disney resorts, I missed that true Disney feel.

Speaker 2:

So what I thought of this resort and I'm trying to put it into an analogy Remember back to high school when you would get invited to the party with the popular kids but you weren't really like friends with them. You were just kind of like there but they weren't really talking to you. This is like you're being invited to the party at Disney but you're not really being included on anything.

Speaker 1:

Does that make any sense? I can see that a little bit.

Speaker 2:

Like you're inside the bubble, like you're right up to the bubble but you're not.

Speaker 1:

You're still on the outside.

Speaker 2:

You're still just on the outside. Does that make sense? Yeah, yeah. It make any kind of sense to you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because I mean, even though you're walking distance from parks, like I was saying, you're not fully enveloped in that bubble yet.

Speaker 2:

So yes, it's a. When you walk in the lobby's beautiful. The chandelier is absolutely stunning. It is a high-end Marriott hotel.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

But it does have that corporate type of theming to it, though it's not unique.

Speaker 1:

Right, does that make sense? Yeah, and now the rooms themselves are very nice.

Speaker 2:

It was very nice. It was a very nice room, yeah it was spacious.

Speaker 1:

It was a very nice room. It was quieter than some of the Disney resorts we've stayed at.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it was a nice room, but it lacked that. And if that's what you want, then this is great, but it lacks that theming. Even like the Grand Floridian is subtle, like it's still Disney themed, subtly, right.

Speaker 1:

Right the.

Speaker 2:

Polynesian is still. I had a little more in their face, the Polynesian.

Speaker 1:

But it's still not.

Speaker 2:

like bam, but it's not like staying at All Stars or whatever. But all the Disney resorts still have that little bit of touch, that little bit of-.

Speaker 1:

Magic pixie-.

Speaker 2:

Magic pixie. Yeah, the magic is still there, even if it's not themed in your face like one of the All Stars. Right, this had none of. I mean, there was a little bit of theming in there, but it's not like they talked about Star Wars or whatever. It was like a little Star Wars display.

Speaker 1:

But that was about it. Yeah, like the way that you go to get to the walkways and stuff, like there are some theming posters and advertisements and stuff there, and then on the buses too, but again the buses were just quiet. But yeah, I just I think if you really wanna feel like you're in Disney the whole time you're there, then-.

Speaker 2:

This may not be the resort for you.

Speaker 1:

Correct.

Speaker 2:

But if you wanna get those deluxe like a deluxe amenities, this was almost half the price of a deluxe resort that same weekend, right.

Speaker 1:

So there you go.

Speaker 2:

And you get all the deluxe perks but you're paying half the price. And the rooms were nice, big, that was comfortable, they were big.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I slept great. Well, probably because we, I think, did a lot more than we thought we would during the day. But it again. It was great, but I feel like I don't have the Disney. Well, I've been sick and stuff too and other things going on in life, but I just didn't really have the Disney blues after this trip because it wasn't all Disney the whole time had a great trip, this place was great to stay at, but I missed that extra little magic touch.

Speaker 2:

And keep in mind this is a convention resort, so you may. It definitely caters to the adult crowd. Yes, there's a lot of people working and I heard a lot of adult conversations, conversations. Yes, that you probably don't get in Disney resorts.

Speaker 1:

Right and you had some people that were dressed up a little more.

Speaker 2:

Yes. And stuff because of that too, so I think the thing that stuck out to me most was you always saw people working in the lobby. Yeah, Like you do at a convention resort, you don't see? I mean you do a little bit at Disney resorts, but not like this.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I guess that's the thing for me too is again great, and we've stayed at some places in Nashville, you know, as a couple and stuff, and it almost felt more like I was just in any other city, it did yeah. In a nice resort, in a nice hotel.

Speaker 2:

Right.

Speaker 1:

Because it wasn't Disney, Disney, Disney, Disney. So again, it was great, but I could have easily been in a hotel in Nashville.

Speaker 2:

So I don't, I would not want to stay here again If we, when we do another couple's trip, I already told you where. I want to stay on property. Yes correct and get that Disney steaming. The customer service is great here. We had no complaints about anything, but just we missed that steaming.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and we've.

Speaker 2:

And that magic that was there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and we won't give away, like if we go again by ourselves, where it will be, but it is a resort that the boys don't really have any interest in. So I thought that would be a good time. So we will see. You will find out if we do it again in another year or so. We talked about it.

Speaker 2:

Okay, anyway, all right. So, Disney, oh, so you would stay here again.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I'm not saying I never would. Would I do it in a year from now? No, would I do it in three years from now? No, 10 years from now, maybe.

Speaker 2:

It's a great resort, though, but you're just not getting that Disney steaming. Keep that in mind.

Speaker 1:

Again, yeah, again. It just felt like we were, you know, in any other town, is staying at a nice hotel? Yeah?

Speaker 2:

so I did Disney trivia already on yesterday's episode, but I'll go ahead and reiterate today. The question was when did the dolphin open? And it was June 4th 1990,. No winner this week.

Speaker 1:

Interesting.

Speaker 2:

So several people answered with the opening day of the Magic Kingdom, that's October 1st 1976, that is not correct. Yeah, so sorry.

Speaker 1:

Not 76.

Speaker 2:

23. 71, 71, 71 my history person is off.

Speaker 1:

I'm like no, that's not right, that's not right.
